经济危机下再论张謇成功的原因:近代企业家的精神与视野

本文通过对张謇个人品质的考察,解释张謇创业及其规划南通城建并最终形成所谓"南通模式"的心理动因及作用。与以往针对张謇的评论不同,本文认为张謇事业辉煌的主因在于其个人品质的坚持,而其中又尤以近代企业家精神与超前的规划视野两点最为突出。这些,正是当前经济危机下,企业家需要学习借鉴的地方。     

民国商人的企业家精神

1912年1月3日，出任民国政府实业总长的张謇与大总统孙中山晤谈。这是两位时代英豪惺惺相惜的第一次见面，在当天的日记里，张謇对孙中山的评价只用了寥寥四字——“不知崖畔”，以形容当时孙先生的迂阔。十年后，孙中山见到了张謇独子张孝若，也只说了一句话：“我是空忙。你父亲在南通取得了实际的成绩。”
