It gives me great pleasure to be with you tonight, to celebrate this significant moment-- the successful opening of the 20th Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics.     

20th Anniversary Edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles：To Be The Biggest Ever

This August marks a special moment in the history of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles as the fair celebrates the anniversary of its 20th edition.The show also set a new milestone,as for the first time it has taken up 13 halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre for a total of 150,400 sqm.,making this edition the largest event in its history.Around 1,350 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions took part at the fair which runs from 27th to 29th August.

The Woolmark Company returned to Premi6re Vision in Paris from September 16th to 18th, showcasing Wool Denim, The Wool Lab Autumn/Winter 2015/16 and continued to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Woolmark brand. 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Woolmark brand and sees The Woolmark Company continuing to nurture and develop close relationships within the wool industry. Preview Reports of October Shows

As lntertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics - Autumn Edition 2014 prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary this October, it continues to offer relevant features that meet the current needs of the industry. The fair as a whole will play host to an expected 3,500-plus exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions, and will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 20 to 23 October. In addition to the wide range of apparel fabrics and accessories one might expect, the Verve for Design zone also offers up original textile pattern designs from some of the industry＇s lead- ing studios.

With the tiding concerns of the upcoming 30th anniversary of implementation of the policy of opening-up and reform gradually reaching peak,people in all walks of life begin to express their understanding and feeling of this policy in respective way. In my opinion,we have gained strengths by combining the foreign with familiar,because,by the courtesy of the policy,those foreign friends broaden our horizon financially and mentally and present us with the advanced knowledge and technology. Boom time for Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics

Breaking last year＇s record exhibitor figure of 3,751, the show reached a new high with over 3,800 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions taking part in what also doubles as the fair＇s 20th anniversary edition. Domestic and overseas suppliers showcased their apparel fabrics and accessories in 15 halls covering 175,020 sqm of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Preview in Seoul 2014, organized by Fashion Exhibition Team of Korea Federation of Textile Industries （KOFOTI）, has been held on the 3rd to the 5th of September. This fair was the largest ever with 307 enterprises from 16 countries. 63 enterprises from China exhibited in this fair. The Chinese exhibitors, not confined to large enterprises, consisted of small or medium ones as well. They have brought quality products of fabric and yarn for Korean market, with the aim of gaining a foothold in overseas market prior to FTA. The attractions of Chinese products are high quality and reasonable price.

Texworld＇s Programme Offers Fashion Shows Highlighting Designers and Trends for Winter 2015

Creativity was showcased at Texworld, the international event for fashion fabrics and clothing with nearly 900 exhibitors, from 15th to 17th September 2014. Texworld hosted an exhibition of collections by the winners of the latest Dinard International Festival of Young Fashion Designers. It also featured two shows by the couturier Eymeric Francois, and by winners of the Dinard Festival and third-year students majoring in knits at the ESMOD fashion design and business school.
