The Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee promotes reform and development of the oil and gas industry

The Decision on Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening Reforms（hereinafter referred to as ＂the Decision＂） adopted by the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee provides a comprehensive roadmap for reform in the oil and gas sector. The essence of the reform lies in solving the productivity problem when there isn＇t sufficient organization and management in the form of institutional mechanisms and development of productive forces to be conducive to reform, and in laying a solid foundation for the healthy development of the oil and gas industry.

Quota Distribution System Improved for 2007

The first bidding of quotas for textile exports to the EU and US in 2007 closed in November. 4,787 enterprises were qualified to bid nationwide. Among them, 2,935 enterprises were qualified to bid the quotas for textile exports to the US and 3,500 enterprises for those to the EU. New Farmland Occupation Tax Allows No Foreign Companies Exempted

Farmland occupation tax that went into effect as early as in 1987 is found incompatible with the new situation as a result of Chinese rapid economic growth.A lower tax rate of farmland occupied for either textile production or and any industrial production for the good of foreign investors finishes with the start of the new year.All domestic and foreign companies are in the list of tax payers with the new Interim Regulations.The source from the State Administration of Taxation reveals the details in an interview.     

Six Months,Sixty Billion Dollars

20th Anniversary Edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles：To Be The Biggest Ever

This August marks a special moment in the history of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles as the fair celebrates the anniversary of its 20th edition.The show also set a new milestone,as for the first time it has taken up 13 halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre for a total of 150,400 sqm.,making this edition the largest event in its history.Around 1,350 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions took part at the fair which runs from 27th to 29th August.     

Advanced Technology forDecortication of Flax, Hemp and other Bast Fibre Plants

Flax, linseed or hemp fibres can substitute wood, synthetic, carbon and glass fibres in a wide range of industnal products.A complete new machine line for the processing of natural fibre plants was developed, which includes all process stages from pickup and cutting of straw bales up to the cleaning of the final products, fibres and shives.The processed fibres have a fineness in the range from 2.5 to 15 tax. The length of the fibres is adjustable in the range from 50 to 200mm. These fibres can be shortened by additional cutting to a defined length from e.g. 4 to 8 mm.Practical applications of the fibres are the automotive industry, geo-texfiles, thermal blankets, fibrous insulating material and composites,building boards, coarse yarn, coarse textiles, and reinforcement of several composites and structural parts.
