As a top international show,the North American International Auto Show（NAIAS）is among the most prestigious auto shows in the world.On January 13,2008, in Detroit,the 101st NAIAS unveiled the first auto show of 2008.With the developing strategy of＂Going Out＂and the innovation on research and technology, China automakers achieved great progress in recent years.In this show,China five automakers including：BYD Auto,Changfeng Group,Geely International Corp,Li Shi Guang Ming Auto Design Co.Ltd, and ZXAuto China（Hebei Zhongxing） attended the NAIAS on January 13 to 27, 2008. Changfeng Motor Group and Geely International Corporation made return visits to Detroit while BYD Auto Co., Chamco and Li Shi Guang Ming appeared for the first time.

2007 was the Russia＇s China Year, and one of big events for the remarkable year was the 5th China Auto International （Russia） Exhibition Tour. The tour flamed up the Chinese heat in this Eastern European nation. In 2006, Russia ranked the first largest country that imported autos from China, an impressive leap from that of the 2005, which was only ranked 6th. Therefore, when the organizing committee decided that the 5th China Auto International Exhibition Tour would be held in Russia, many automakers showed great interests.     

Stock Index Futures on the Road

China＇s first,index-based futures market is on a fast-track for launch this year,despite concerns that the securities-market environment lacks the maturity needed to avoid a shaky start.＂Preparations for the growth enterprise board and Stock Index Futures（SIF） have been completed,and we are only waiting for the go-ahead,＂said Cheng Siwei,vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People＇s Congress（NPC）,China＇s top legislature, when he presented China International Private Equity Forum 2008 on January 19th.
