E-government has now become a reality for the vast majority of developed countries and, as confirmed by recent EU studies,
is also beginning to take root among the developing nations. The challenge that the majority of governments now must take
up is not only to introduce a system of e-administration (the traditionally accepted definition of e-government), but also
to work towards a system that will hail an era of e-governance or good government. For this to occur, public administrations
must make a greater effort to implement e-government systems that allow fluid communication with the general public, thereby
achieving a greater degree of participation; the key to success for e-government. This article looks at some of the major
government portals to services for citizens in countries across five continents from the point of view of creativity. The
analysis of how governments are using creativity to attract public attention to their sites is then compared to recent EU

The objective of this research study is to identify the constructs and factors important to the user-centric transformation of e-governments. The research design follows the comprehensive Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model. The primary data for the research were collected from potential and current users of e-government services in the United Arab Emirates. Exploratory factor analysis was used to extract the important constructs from the 19 factors identified from the literature. Regression analysis was used to identify the influence of individual constructs on overall satisfaction, while correlation analysis was used to identify the relationship between Internet usage and user satisfaction. Analysis of variance and t-test were used to identify potential differences among demographic factors and their overall satisfaction with e-government services. This study identifies confidentiality and users’ trust and attitudes toward using technology as key determinants of overall satisfaction and the subsequent adoption of e-government services. The study also identifies significant differences in how different genders adopt the use of e-government services. 相似文献

成渝地区双城经济圈的建设对于当前形成国内大循环的经济发展新格局具有重要的战略意义。本文以成渝地区制造业与生产性服务业协同集聚为研究对象,以城市层面的全要素生产率作为城市高质量发展的衡量指标,利用成渝地区16个城市2005-2018年数据,构建动态面板模型,采用系统GMM的方法实证检验成渝地区双城经济圈制造业与生产性服务业协同集聚对成渝地区城市全要素生产率的影响,并基于DEA-Malmquist的方法对城市全要素生产率进行分解,通过对产业协同集聚和全要素生产率水平的测算构建模型,并实证检验了产业协同集聚对生产率影响的效果,提出通过平台共建、政策共通、市场共融以及人才共用等方面建立一体化协同发展体系推动成渝地区双城经济圈协同创新发展。 相似文献

Private enterprise carries out the complex operations of cross‐border logistics that are the lifeblood of global supply chains. Yet, the efficiency of these activities depends on government agencies that provide the logistics infrastructure for global trade. Thus, public–private partnerships (PPPs) play an important role in facilitating improvements in cross‐border logistics. While private enterprise and the public sector are key stakeholders in the quality of cross‐border logistics, research that examines PPPs in logistics management is relatively sparse. To address this gap, the current study aims to develop empirically based theoretical insights into the nature and role of PPPs in the context of cross‐border logistics. The study employs a grounded‐theory analysis of case study data collected at the U.S./Canadian border. Findings show that private enterprise collaborative capability and public interagency cooperation determine the performance of PPPs which, in turn, influence the quality of cross‐border logistics. 相似文献

Despite the importance of collaborative innovation, the existing literature tends to be somewhat vague in identifying when strategic orientations are beneficial for service innovation between a focal firm and its business partners. The purpose of this study is to examine the relative effects of four strategic orientations (market, service, interaction, and learning) on collaborative service innovation performance, while considering the contextual factor of service offerings (basic installed base, maintenance, operational, and professional). Results based on survey data from 362 paired B2B firms show that learning orientation has the strongest effect on collaborative service innovation performance, and is the most effective for basic installed base services and maintenance services. In contrast, interaction orientation best supports those firms with operational services, while market and service orientations are more effective for professional services. Managers are advised to consider alternative strategic orientations individually aligned with service offerings to achieve desired collaborative service innovation outcomes. 相似文献
