近年来,随着中国经济的快速发展,中国人均可支配收入显著提高,居民的消费需求经过了从吃得饱到吃得好,从穿得好到穿得美的转变,对流行的追随趋势也逐渐加强。现阶段我国社会的主要矛盾也从人民日益增长的物质文化需要与落后的社会生产之间的矛盾转变到人民日益增长的美好生活需要与不平衡不充分的发展之间的矛盾。消费者需求发生了重要变化,从消费者心理角度研究消费需求,引导企业做好产品、服务和营销具有重要意义。文章在马斯洛需求层次理论的基础上,探究在市场营销中如何利用和把握消费者心理,运用在广告、产品包装、服务营销和品牌包装中,并提出了相应的运营决策建议。  相似文献

The purpose of this empirical study is to operationalize the relationship of green marketing's influence on consumer attitudes via the mediating role of marketing mix towards green products to validate the proposed research model in the Taiwanese context of explaining consumers' willingness to be environmentally friendly. The model is based on structural equation modeling (SEM) from data collected from 977 online consumers. The findings revealed that green consumption intention was significantly and indirectly driven by attitude to green products. Additionally, the effect of perceived quality on marketing mix and consumer willingness in environmental concern is both significant and positive. However, when a restaurant has high consumer social responsibility (CnSR) for marketing mix, the consumer attitudes of cognitive, affective, and behavioral model (C-A-B model) is less effective. These findings have contributed to the revival of the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and offer a comprehensive understanding of consumer attitude, consumer social responsibility, marketing mix and perceived quality impact that a restaurant has on the ability to raise consumer willingness to purchase green products or food. We provides valuable suggestions to marketers to design from the perspective of green marketing policies and strategies in order to accommodate Taiwan's indigenous green restaurants.  相似文献

Over recent years, whilst there has been increasing acceptance of the existence and role of marketing in the political arena, there has also been much discussion as to the applicability of its concepts and models. This paper focuses upon issues surrounding definition of the ‘product’ and the ‘marketing mix.’ It examines the varying definitions of the political ‘product’ and, from the perspective of elector as ‘consumer,’ offers its own. In addition it suggests that political marketers should follow the lead of their counterparts in the fields of service and social marketing and modify the marketing mix to suit the political environment in which they function. Finally, based upon existing definitions of the political ‘product’ and the criticisms of the current marketing mix frameworks, initial suggestions are made for the provision of a new political marketing mix.  相似文献

This article looks at an international weight loss service company known as Weight Watchers and evaluates the promotional effectiveness of their social event focused business. Secondary research highlights their approach to the marketing mix and the significance of perception within this particular market and the marketing mix per se. Research of their traditional social event based business is reported in terms of the effect of the promotional tools used by Weight Watchers, influences on consumer decision making, consumer behavior, and internal and external factors which influence marketing decisions. The conclusions drawn are that there are significant issues for Weight Watchers to consider in terms of their future approach to the weight loss market. Firstly, the need for Weight Watchers to differentiate themselves further from their competitors and, secondly, to ensure they have distinct differentiation strategies for their social event and online businesses.  相似文献

Order of entry research has stressed the importance of a superior marketing mix effort relative to the pioneer if a late entrant is to overcome the order of entry effect. Several researchers have argued, but have not demonstrated, that a superior marketing mix effort may even help a late entrant avoid the order of entry effect. If this is proven to be the case, a double jeopardy trend may exist in that late entrants that have a superior (inferior) marketing mix effort not only gain (lose) market share through the effects of this superiority, they also avoid (incur) the market share penalty associated with their entry position. Consumer scanner data from 24 categories were used to demonstrate the existence of a double jeopardy trend within the order of entry effect in that a late entrant’s market share benefits twice from a superior marketing mix effort and is punished twice for an inferior effort.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The purpose of formative research in social marketing is to understand the target audience to generate consumer insight, which informs the planning, development and initial implementation of social marketing programmes. Focus groups, interviews or surveys, all of which are self-report methods, are the most commonly reported methods employed in formative research. Reliance on a relatively narrow range of methods may constrain understanding and insight gained during formative research. This paper challenges social marketers to mix methods or use multiple methods and research perspectives to generate a broader understanding of the consumer and the context in which they behave. A case study is used to demonstrate how mixed methods were used in a formative research study to inform the development of a social marketing programme designed to change eating behaviour. Challenges of mixed methods are detailed along with recommendations for future research.  相似文献

Religion penetrates deep into our social and cultural life but its significance in developing marketing theories has rather been disregarded. Islam has well-established business, economic and social systems and its influences are interwoven with the daily life of Muslims. Therefore, it is vital for the companies to comprehend the impact that religion makes on Muslim societies before designing their marketing strategies. Off late, Islamic perspective has been well appreciated in the form of Islamic banking and finance, with many western financial institutions incorporating Islamic ideologies in their operations. This paper aims to extend the application of Islamic values in development of Marketing theories, specifically promotion mix management. The study of the impact of time as a variable in consumer behavior goes back to at least the early seventies. It has been studied from both objective and subjective perspectives. The purpose of this article is to further explain the impact of subjective time perceptions on consumer behavior, with a focus on the elderly as a subgroup. Several frameworks for understanding time perceptions are discussed and coupled with various theories of aging to present, explain, and hypothesize age-related differences in time perceptions and the behavioral consequences of these differences. The article concludes with an integration of these time frameworks into the five-stage consumer decision-making process, and some suggested impacts on the marketing mix. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

This article integrates marketing and social psychology theories and findings into a conceptual model that describes the conditions for which idealized advertising images induce positive (or negative) consumer outcomes. Extending Bessenoff's moderated mediation model, the authors propose that: (1) effect of social comparison on the relationship between exposure to idealized advertising images and psychological/emotional outcomes will be moderated by internalization of ideals and self-discrepancy; (2) effect of psychological/emotional outcomes on the relationship between social comparison and consumer vulnerability will be moderated by attainability of ideals; and (3) product claims should moderate the relationship between psychological and emotional outcomes and consumer vulnerability.  相似文献

The prospects for marketing research and marketing programs that emphasize social influences on consumer behavior have been signficantly improved by recent methodological advances, particularly the development of powerful computer software. Three valuable approaches are linked pair research, computerized sociometry, and computer simulation of theories. Examples of each of these show both that real progress has been achieved and that opportunities exist for new and profitable computer applications.  相似文献
