针对受国外技术和市场牵引较严重的4个制造类企业,构建了供应链关系资本、需求拉动型吸收能力和创新绩效三者间的概念模型,实施问卷调查,用结构方程模型验证假设。得到的结果表明:以信任为基础的供应链关系资本能够促进企业及时获取和掌握市场信息和技术知识,从而提高创新绩效。但是,样本企业供应链关系资本中的关系承诺维度对知识吸收的促进作用有待加强;需求拉动型吸收能力的知识转化和利用环节对于创新进程的促进作用有待提高。  相似文献

This study examines the inter-relationships between network ties as social capital and knowledge resources as human capital, in the internationalization of law firms. Using a qualitative case study methodology, this study is based on primary data collected from Australian law firms and corporate client organizations, and compares and contrasts the views of lawyers and clients on building social and human capital. Our study finds that the relative importance of strong ties diminishes as professional services globalize and weak ties become viewed as more prominent for successful internationalization. The main findings indicate three different sets of inter-relationships between social and human capital: complementary, supplementary and compensatory. We discuss the complementary and supplementary effects of strong and weak ties and three different types of knowledge resources (technical, market and client-specific knowledge). We also argue that knowledge resources of technical and market knowledge can compensate network ties in the internationalization of firms. Examining social and human capital between law firms and clients provides important theoretical and practical insights into understanding the internationalization of professional service firms.  相似文献

韩国从20世纪60年代试图开始实质性的经济开发,到2004年为止与230多个国家和地区进行贸易。2004年。其GDP是6801亿美元,为世界第10位,人均收入14162美元。交易额4783亿美元,为世界第12位。2004年外币储备额是1991亿美元.居世界第4位。韩国以韩国式经济开发,即实行市场亲和式政府干预的经济政策,通过出口为主导的经济开发实现了经济的快速增长。正高速增长的中国亦以中国式社会主义.以中国式改革开放追求出口和贸易的共同增长。中国和韩国都持续着经济的高速发展.被公认为是以出口和贸易为主的经济开发模式的典范。韩国进口能源、原材料和资本品,出口工业制成品。中国的贸易由外资企业为主进口半成品和资本品,出口工业制成品。而中国贸易在经济发展中所发挥的影响与韩国相比还小。为了持续增长,韩国需要以技术和经营革新提高国际竞争力.尤其要改善以资本品进口为主的贸易结构。  相似文献

This paper looks at the role of product design in the export performance of US manufacturing firms in the machine tool (MT) industry. Evidence from a survey of 173 MT companies points to stronger export results among firms that initiate the design process with respect to the needs of foreign buyers. In contrast, firms that enter foreign markets with products that were originally designed for domestic clients typically exhibit weaker export sales. Firms in the latter category spend less on market intelligence than their more internationally-oriented counterparts. For both groups of firms, however, a common finding is that recent interest in export expansion has been driven by rising import penetration (loss of domestic market share). The paper concludes with a brief discussion of the implications of the empirical results for future research on export marketing.  相似文献

The Launch strategy for innovative products is a crucial strategic typology adopted by many high tech firms, and which has been identified in prior research focusing on new product introduction to the market. However, the nexus between launch strategies and firm resources has gained little research attention. This article therefore aims to investigate the influence of technological capability and social capital, two key resources for innovation in high tech firms, on the adoption of a launch strategy for innovative products. Furthermore, prior research has revealed that market characteristics play a moderating role on the relationship between firm resources and company strategies; thus, this study also examines the moderating effect of market characteristics. This study takes Taiwan's integrated circuit design firms as the analytical sample. Based on a sample of ninety companies, two interesting findings have been found. First, both technological capability and social capital are associated positively with the launch strategy for innovative products. Second, while the market growth rates increase, the positive relationship between technological capability and the launch strategy for innovative products becomes weaker.  相似文献

从2014年3月起我国公司注册资本方式改为认缴出资,且注册程序也大大简化了,这意味着我国正逐步放开管制,促使公司资本更有效地参与市场经济。资本出资、验资方式的改变,旨在提高市场经济的运行效率,所以本文选取小型工业企业作为研究对象,因为其对注册资本登记制度的改革最为敏感及受益,通过对其前后运行效率的评价研究来检验市场经济的运行效率和公司注册资本制改革的效果。得出结论:改革前后企业运行效率的主要影响因素是相同的,只是顺序有点变动;山东政策落地效果最好;江苏、广东充分调动社会资本力量的参与;浙江狠抓市场环境优化、扩大企业出口;河南高创业热情带动就业。表明公司注册资本制的改革是有效的,能够改善绝大多数省份企业运行效率。但同时也发现存在资本结构不合理、市场环境不好、市场化水平低等问题,就此提出了相关政策建议。  相似文献

经济学有关社会资本的研究主要关注社会资本与经济发展的关系问题。现有研究忽视了对社会资本问题在经济学研究中兴起背景的考察,缺乏对相关文献系统和深入的梳理。虽然理论界对社会资本的概念和类型尚未形成共识,但是社会资本在经济发展中的作用得到了理论界的认可:在宏观层面,较高的社会资本存量对促进宏观经济增长有积极作用,并有助于解决集体行动问题和提高贫困地区公共资源配置的效率。在微观层面,社会资本与人力资本的投资和收益存在相关联系,此外可以通过降低信贷市场上的逆向选择和道德风险促进金融的发展。同时.社会资本也存在定义模糊和难以测度的理论困境。其非均衡分布还可能造成资源垄断和市场分割。而缺乏普遍性的信任还会阻碍经济的发展。  相似文献

为了研究研发团队内部知识的交互对于创意产生的机理,通过构建概念模型,研究知识螺旋对研发团队创新创意产生的影响,并分析内部社会资本的调节效应。采用结构方程模型和分层线性分析,基于274份样本的实证研究表明:一方面,知识螺旋显著积极影响研发团队创新创意产生,并且知识表出化、知识结合化、知识内在化及知识社会化分别积极影响创新创意产生;另一方面,内部社会资本不同维度在知识螺旋与创新创意产生关系中的调节效应各不相同,结构社会资本的调节效应并不显著,而认知社会资本和关系社会资本显著正向调节知识螺旋对创新创意产生的影响。根据研究结果,提出促进研发团队创意产生的建议。  相似文献

While product market choices have been central to strategy formulation for firms in the past, the integration of financial markets makes the choice of capital markets an equally important strategic decision. We advance a comparative institutional perspective to explain capital market choice by firms making an IPO in a foreign market. We find that internal governance characteristics (founder‐CEO, executive incentives, and board independence) and external network characteristics (prestigious underwriters, degree of venture capitalist syndication, and board interlocks) are significant predictors of foreign capital market choice by foreign IPO firms. Our results suggest foreign IPO firms select a host market where the firms' governance characteristics and third party affiliations fit the host market's institutional environment. This study attempts to explore how a firm's operational mode can reinforce the advantages of intellectual capital on innovation. Specifically, the main purpose of this study is to develop a comprehensive research model to integrate the interrelationships among social capital, entrepreneurial orientation, intellectual capital, and innovation. In addition to identifying the influences of intellectual capital on innovation, this study focuses in particular on the mediating effect of intellectual capital and the moderating effects of social capital and entrepreneurial orientation on innovation, which have largely been neglected in previous literature. The results support the mediating role of intellectual capital and the moderating roles of entrepreneurial orientation and social capital on innovation. Specifically, firms that have higher levels of social capital and entrepreneurial orientation tend to amplify the effects of intellectual capital on innovation.  相似文献

This paper develops and estimates a model of economic capacity utilization and its determinants by allowing for the firm's full optimization behavior that considers endogenous output choice. The model consists of deriving the short-run output supply function and the capital demand function which generate optimal and capacity output. Optimal capacity utilization is determined as the ratio of optimal to capacity output and its determinants are identified. Evidence from U.S. manufacturing shows that capital expansion not accompanied by market growth and higher materials and capital prices has contributed to lower capacity utilization. Energy price increases have exerted a stimulating impact on capacity utilization. Conventional capacity utilization measures are found to be biased and fail to capture the influences of changes in economic conditions facing firms.  相似文献

会计信息透明度较低会带来严重的经济后果。文章利用博弈论、CAPM模型、统计分析等方法研究发现,会计信息透明度与股价偏离程度和波动性、资本成本、社会经济成本呈负相关关系。会计信息透明度降低到一定程度,股价波动性风险增加、融资成本增加、社会经济负担增加,依此形成恶性循环,最终将影响投资者决策,扭曲市场交易行为,降低资本市场效率,甚至导致市场失效。因此,会计信息透明度问题是资本市场亟待解决的核心问题。  相似文献

This paper analyzes how firms in different technological and market share positions use foreign R&D to augment their technological capabilities. Technology transfer issues and absorptive capacity arguments are examined to analyze the different technological capabilities of leading and lagging firms. In addition, a new strategic rationale (in terms of non‐dominant market share firms) that has not been considered in prior studies analyzing knowledge‐seeking FDI is offered. From a panel dataset which includes information on all foreign R&D investments made by publicly traded Japanese manufacturing firms (from 1974 to 1994), I show that Japanese firms investing in foreign R&D tend to be the non‐dominant market share firms, but also the technologically leading firms across fairly diverse industries. By considering both the technological and market share positions of firms, this study reveals important characteristics that influence when firms use foreign R&D as part of a strategy to augment their technological capabilities. Due to liabilities of smallness and newness for entrepreneurial firms, decisions surrounding the sufficient leveraging of diverse information, knowledge, and resources used to pursue market opportunities are critical. Prior research has emphasized that network range is essential to improve entrepreneurial performance. However, research on boundary conditions of this relationship is still scant. Based on the social capital theory, this study advances research on the aforementioned relationship by integrating different dimensions of social capital and focusing on the three-way interaction of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and trust. Based on data from a time-lagged two-wave survey of 389 firms in an emerging economy, we confirm the positive network range-performance relationship and find that EO strengthens the relationship between network range and entrepreneurial performance. Furthermore, findings suggest that network range can generate superior performance when aligned with the high levels of EO and cognitive trust, thus confirming the proposed three-way interaction. Overall, these findings contribute to a better understanding of how to facilitate network connections to enhance entrepreneurial performance.  相似文献

This study examines quadratic effects of three export decision-making approaches (planning, creativity and spontaneity) on innovation orientation, and the direct effect of innovation orientation on export market performance. The model, anchored in decision theory and dynamic capabilities, is tested on a sample of Chinese exporting firms using structural equation modelling. Findings indicate that while a greater proclivity to innovate is beneficial for export market performance, a more complex web of relationships is revealed between the three export decision-making approaches and innovation orientation, providing insights on the operationalization of a dynamic decision-making capability. Specifically, while an increasing level of export planning reduces an exporter’s capacity to innovate, creativity has a positive direct effect on exporters’ innovation orientation, which also benefits from extreme spontaneity in export decision-making. We discuss theoretical contributions and export managerial implications of this dynamic decision-making capability for industrial marketing management.  相似文献

本文将受知识产权保护制度约束的模仿效应参数及模仿成本引入Hausman的技术水平模型,通过建立1994—2009年SITC Rev.3的三位编码产品与中国国民经济中35个工业行业的对应关系,构建了行业出口技术水平测算指标,运用固定效应模型与系统GMM估计方法,实证分析了知识产权保护对行业出口技术进步的影响及在不同行业间的差异性体现。研究结果表明:中国知识产权保护制度的完善对出口技术提升起到了加速器的作用,但并未对出口规模扩张做出显著直接贡献,而是通过影响出口技术间接作用于出口规模;不同行业的知识属性差异使知识产权保护的出口技术进步效应在研发强度大、技术水平高、外资渗透率高的行业中更显著。  相似文献

The microlevel concept of social capital has received significant attention in management and sociological research but has not yet been empirically associated with the development of organizational capabilities. The major purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship of social capital with marketing and research and development (R&D) capability and to explore how the environmental context moderates the social capital–organizational capability link. It is suggested that top management's social capital provides a firm with important information and control benefits that facilitate effective access to the knowledge and resources necessary for building superior organizational capabilities. In addition, we identify the role of two important environmental factors influencing the social capital–organizational capability link: technological turbulence and competitive intensity. The strength of the relationship between social capital and organizational capabilities is proposed to vary depending on the level of these two environmental characteristics. This study conceptualizes and operationalizes social capital as a multidimensional construct reflected by the structural dimension of tie strength, the relational dimension of trust, and the cognitive dimension of solidarity. Survey and archival data on 280 firms from various industries are analyzed using structural equation modeling. Empirical support for the proposed three‐dimensional structure of social capital is found. Results further indicate that social capital is a significant antecedent to both marketing and R&D capability, which in turn significantly affect firm performance. While a positive relationship between social capital and organizational capabilities is supported in general, the strength of this relationship depends on the environmental context the firm is embedded in. The positive effect of social capital on marketing capability increases in environments with high technological turbulence and competitive intensity; the opposite holds for R&D capability. This research contributes to the resource‐based view by introducing social capital as an important microlevel factor promoting the development of organizational capabilities. By identifying and evaluating two important environmental contingencies, our study also decreases some of the ambiguity surrounding the effectiveness of antecedents to organizational capabilities. The findings further help practitioners decide under what circumstances investing in top‐managers' social capital provides an effective means for achieving superior performance through enhanced organizational capabilities. This should have an important bearing on issues such as management training and incentives as well as on hiring policies.  相似文献

本文基于先进装备制造业上市公司2006~2015年的数据,使用DEA-Malmquist方法计算了我国先进装备制造业的全要素生产率,结果表明,考察期内我国先进装备制造业的全要素生产率在震荡中有所提升,东部地区先进装备制造业的全要素生产率提升幅度大于西部。以此为基础,基于产业组织的角度分析了先进装备制造业全要素生产率的影响因素,研究发现,人力资本水平、R&D经费投入、宏观经济形势、社会固定资产投资情况、对外贸易依存度以及科技劳动力对全要素生产率产生正向显著影响。最后针对本文结论提出相关建议。  相似文献
