本文认为,我国汽车产业经过五十多年的艰苦创业,已经有了长足的进步与发展,具备了一定的发展规模,在国民经济中的地位和作用不断上升,但是汽车产业品种较少,尚不能满足国民经济发展的需要,汽车产业特别是轿车自主开发能力差,对跨国公司的依赖性较大,还不具备国际竞争力。文章提出,从我国经济社会发展的历史阶段看,我国的汽车产业面临着巨大的发展机遇,也面临不少严峻的问题,尤其是跨国汽车公司在华发展战略正逐步发生深刻变化,集团化趋势日益显现,对中资企业的集团化战略构成严重挑战,所以我国汽车产业发展战略必须相应调整,一要坚持合资合作不放松,二要坚持自主发展不动摇。文章还提出了我国汽车产业发展政策遵循的主要原则和汽车产业发展政策中的主要应对措施。  相似文献

The task of preparing a case is similar to writing a legal brief or an essay insofar as all three should contain a thesis or main point and argumentation or logically arranged facts and inferences. However, different from a brief or an essay, case studies should not contain a conclusion. A case should lead the reader through the facts, but it should not offer a firm or fixed resolution or moral judgment. Ideally it should leave the reader with the opportunity to create and insert their own conclusion. A good case study should be amenable to the following kinds of questions or analysis procedures:
  1. What is the problem? or What is at stake?
  2. What are the non-normative or factual issues involved?
  3. What are the normative or ethical issues involved?
  4. What are the alternatives available?
  5. What decision would you make?

We introduce this special issue by addressing seven key challenges associated with managing hybrid human-automated service systems. These consist of the following:
  • 1 What strategic and tactical issues arise when managing hybrid service systems?
  • 2 How should the core “value proposition” be set?
  • 3 What special considerations arise in the design and implementation phases?
  • 4 How can service delivery be managed to identify systemic problems and to address service breakdowns?
  • 5 How can communications with clients improve the functioning of service systems?
  • 6 What performance measures should be used to monitor process, outputs, client perceptions, and financial outcomes?
  • 7 How can we coordinate the various interdisciplinary activities needed to address the previous six issues?

ABSTRACT

This paper presents an examination of professional journal advertising by professional accounting firms. Advertisements in the three most widely distributed professional accounting journals were analyzed to ascertain the extent of advertising by accounting firms. Research questions included the following: (1) What is the message or purpose of the ads? (2) What size ads are preferred? (3) What is the information content (firm's location, phone number, etc.) of the ads? (4) Which firms advertise the most?

The findings indicate that the most common advertising message concerned selling computer software, followed by employee recruitment. The most common size ads were between a quarter of a page and a page. Information content ranged from phone number and address to professional credentials and specialized services. Advertisements were widely used by both Big Six and non-Big Six accounting firms. The extent of advertising among Big Six firms, however, is highly varied, with Arthur Andersen & Co. generating the most ads. Advertising allows firms the opportunity to reach consumers, provide useful information, and distinguish themselves from other firms.  相似文献

We understand responsible leadership as a social-relational and ethical phenomenon, which occurs in social processes of interaction. While the prevailing leadership literature has for the most part focussed on the relationship between leaders and followers in the organization and defined followers as subordinates, we show in this article that leadership takes place in interaction with a multitude of followers as stakeholders inside and outside the corporation. Using an ethical lens, we discuss leadership responsibilities in a stakeholder society, thereby following Bass and Steidelmeier’s suggestion to discuss “leadership in the context of contemporary stakeholder theory” (1999: 200). Moreover, from a relational and stakeholder perspective we approach the questions: What is responsible leadership? What makes a responsible leader? What qualities are needed? Finally, we propose a so-called “roles model” of responsible leadership, which gives a gestalt to a responsible leader and describes the different roles he or she takes in leading stakeholders and business in society.  相似文献

Do some individuals identify themselves to be prolific liars? Here, “big-liars” are individuals who self-report telling lies twelve-or-more times annually. What share of Americans (or any other national population) is big-liars? What share reports telling no lies? Can individual social-economic status (SES) and social factor configurations identify big-liars consistently? The present study includes proposing and testing the case-based theoretical tenet that single-variable SES and social factors do not identify big-liars or self-report truth-tellers consistently even if these single-variables associate significantly statistically with lying/truth-telling in symmetric tests. The theory here proposes that configurations (i.e., screening algorithms or recipes of SES and social factors) are capable of identifying big-liars as well as self-reported persons claiming to never lie. A national omnibus, representative, sample of Americans (n = 3350 provide some surprising answers to the questions and substantial support for the usefulness of case-based configurational models for identifying big-liars. To prevent, “I knew that” perceptions, before reading further (using a pen or pencil), consider answering the following multiple-choice questions. What share (%) of Americans identify themselves to be non-liars: 30, 40, 50, 60, or 70? What share (%) identify themselves to be big (i.e., monthly) liars: 30, 40, 50, 60, or 70?  相似文献

Endogeneity is a crucial problem in survey-based empirical research on marketing strategy (MS) and inter-organizational relationships (IORs); if not addressed, it can cause researchers to arrive at flawed conclusions and to offer poor advice to practitioners. Although the field is increasingly cognizant of endogeneity-related issues, many authors fail to properly address it, particularly in survey-based research. Emphasizing the role of essential heterogeneity, this article develops an overarching framework to help improve the understanding of endogeneity problems and how to tackle them when researchers use cross-sectional survey-based data. The authors provide explanations of and advice for how MS and IOR researchers can address six “painful” and sometimes hidden decisions: 1) Do you have an endogeneity problem? 2) What technique/estimator is appropriate? 3) What instrumental variables (IVs) should be chosen? 4) How should IVs be evaluated empirically? 5) How should the results be interpreted and evaluated? and 6) What results should you report? The authors provide a practical flowchart to guide researchers in their efforts to address endogeneity-related concerns.  相似文献

This article examines the transfer of management knowhow to developing countries through managers who undertake a graduate program in business at an advanced country. Based upon a study of 67 Turkish managers, all of whom received a master's degree in business in the United States, the article addresses three issues: What are the differences in the local applicability of various management skills (including marketing) which were acquired in an advanced country? What company and individual manager characteristics are associated with the local application of these management skills?
