浅谈影响高校体育教学发展的因素及其策略

教育的根本任务是为社会输送实用人才。高校体育教育也不例外,其肩负着为社会输送体育专业人才的重任。目前,高校体育教学进行了一系列的改革,但是相关的问题依然存在。文章分析了影响我国高校体育教学的制约因素,并提出了针对性的解决对策,为高校体育教学的发展提供一些可行性建议。     

结合终身体育理念改革高校体育教学体制

终身体育理念是现代文明应有的生活态度,也是对体育教学精髓的诠释。终身进行体育锻炼不仅可以改变高校体育教学的不足,还能帮助高校生获得自主的体育理念和学习意志,为其日后走向社会和步入生活奠定了良好的思想基础和身体素质。我国正在执行全面教学策略,意在培养全面人才,而高校体育的体育教学就是围绕这个教学目标展开的。高校体育教学体制的改革直接影响高校生的身体健康。所以,进行体育教育改革,应将终身体育理念的贯彻实施作为教学改革的重点,以寻找积极有效的体育教学方式,进而促进高校体育的教学发展。本文以阐述高校终身体育理念的含义为基础,描述了终身体育的重要性,分析了现阶段高校体育所存在的问题,结合高校体育发展方向,从学校方面和学生方面,得出落实终身体育理念的有效策略,将终身体育锻炼融入到高校生的整个人生过程及社会各个领域。

The daughter of Colston E. Warne reviews the social history of the consumer movement and her father's role in that movement. She speaks of her father's college days, his role as President of Consumers Union (CU) in the pre- and post-war years, CU's role in the beginning of ACCI, and the development of an international consumer movement.     

弓形虫P30基因的克隆及其在E．coli中的融合表达

【目的】研究弓形虫P30基因的克隆及其在E．coli中的融合表达。【方法】参照弓形虫P30序列设计引物,应用PCR技术扩增出弓形虫RH株P30的部分基因,将扩增产物克隆到pUCm—T载体,测序正确后再亚克隆到质粒pET-30a中,得到重组质粒pET-30a—P30并将其转化大肠杆菌BL21,IPTG诱导表达,表达产物经SDS-PAGE和Westen-blot分析。【结果】P30基因在E．coli中得到了高效表达,表达的融合蛋白的分子量在30kDa附近,可以被鼠抗Toxoplasma gondii阳性血清特异性识别。【结论】该研究为Toxoplasma gondii的检测和疫苗研制及综合防制奠定了基础。     

Response to Dr. Capaldi

SUMMARY

This a response to Professor Nicholas Capaldi's reflections on Professor William E. Kilbourne's discussion of dominant social paradigms and government technology transfer programs in this volume. Dr. Kilbourne notes his agreement with Dr. Capaldi on most points, and reiterates his position, in his view consistent with Dr. Capaldi, that difficulties of cross-cultural technology transfers cannot be overcome by “persuasion,” and that cultural adaptation must involve a gradual process of successive technology transfers and the development of institutions that further develop technologies with consideration of the needs of users.     

Potato Production and Farm Price Responses in Northeastern America

The potato industries in Northeastern America (including Maine, Prince Edward Island (P. E. I.), New Brunswick, and Quebec) have undergone structural changes over the past few decades. The most notable change was the continuing shift in potato production from Maine to P. E. I. Using data between 1980 and 2005, this study assessed the price impact of changes in production across the four potato-producing areas in the Northeast. The study found that production change in P. E. I. has the largest impact on its own price, supporting P. E. I.’s leading role in reducing potato production in the region. The estimation result of the price response model in the study also indicates that growers in other producing areas in the region will also benefit from P. E. I.’s acreage reduction program.     

Information transmission in electronic versus open‐outcry trading systems: An analysis of U.S. equity index futures markets

In this article the intraday price discovery process between regular index futures (floor trading) and E‐mini index futures (electronic trading) in the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 index futures markets is examined, using intraday data from the introduction of the E‐mini index futures to 2001. Using both information shares (Hasbrouck, J., 1995) and common long‐memory factor weights (Gonzalo, J., & Granger, C. W. J., 1995) techniques, we find that both E‐mini index futures and regular index futures contribute to the price discovery process. However, since September 1998, the contribution made by E‐mini index futures has been greater than that provided by regular index futures. Based on regression analysis, we have also found direct empirical evidence to support the hypothesis that the joint effects of operational efficiency and relative liquidity determine the greater contribution made towards price discovery by electronic trading relative to open‐outcry trading over time. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Structural stability of P/E ratios of common stocks

Earlier studies have reported that the average price/earning ratios (P/E ratios) of groups of firms tend to maintain over time their ranks within their industry classes. This study looks at the rank stability of P/E ratios of individual stocks, without regard to their industry labels. Based on a sample of 429 stocks listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and covering the period 1960–1976, this study concludes that individual stocks exhibit significant stability in their P/E ratio ranks, more strongly so over shorter periods of time. This tendency has implications in investment management.     

ACCI Memorial Paper: The Scholarly Legacy of E. Scott Maynes

This paper honors E. Scott Maynes, who died on June 24, 2007 and had been a professor emeritus in the Department of Policy Analysis and Management at Cornell University. The paper describes Scott's scholarly legacy in research, highlighting four areas: survey research methods, research using data from Surveys of Consumer Finances, Scott's studies of local consumer markets, and two significant books Scott Maynes authored. The author of this memorial paper concludes that Scott's scholarly legacy is neither a new theory nor a new statistical technique but the importance of vision, passion, perseverance, commitment, and creativity for the applied social science researcher.     

Social process auditing: A survey and some suggestions

In this paper the social indicators research is linked with accountability at corporate and national level. The case for auditing social measurements is advanced and a possible scheme is proposed. An analytical survey of all the related developments in social accounting is presented and certain conclusions are drawn. Finally, an interdisciplinary approach to accounting for the quality of life is critically examined in the framework of a mixed economy that today prevails in the western world. Vassilios P. Filios, B.B.A. (Athens), M. Soc. Sc. (Southampton), Ph.D. (Birmingham), has been a Research Associate of London Graduate Business School (1979–80) and a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Accounting at the University of Birmingham (1978–80). During the last years he has been teaching at the Greek Productivity Centre and the Greek Management Association, management accounting to middle and top managers of Greek enterprises. He has also been involved in organizational consultative work. He has contributed with more than fifty articles to the Greek accounting and management journals. He is the author of three books, one in Socio-Economic Accounting, one on Cost Accounting Data for Management Decisions and the third on Public Sector Accounting. Articles of Dr. Filios have also appeared in Accounting and Business Research, in the Accounting Historians Journal, the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, the Rivista Internationale di Scienze Economiche e Commerciali, the Journal of Business Ethics, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences Journal, etc. His research interests lie in the areas of Continental accounting evolution, E.E.C. accounting developments, and on socio-economic aspects of accounting.
