传承和发展是传统品牌面临的主要问题,目前多数百年品牌是以家族企业的组织形式存在,然而家族企业对品牌传承的影响机理却尚未明晰。本文通过对福建坦洋工夫红茶行业的多案例研究,揭示家族企业影响品牌传承的原因和过程。研究发现,家族企业品牌顺利传承的关键在于技艺的顺利流传,而影响技艺流传的根源来自社会情感财富的存在,即社会情感财富通过技艺中介影响品牌传承。进一步地,将泛家族企业组织形式纳入研究范围后,结论依旧稳健。最后,本文总结出(泛)家族企业品牌传承的路径——从社会情感财富到技艺流传。本文的研究丰富并发展了家族企业品牌传承的理论研究,并对保护和传承传统品牌提供了理论指导和借鉴。  相似文献

The new venture decision is a crucial stage in the process of creating a new business and is influenced by a series of social, demographic, cultural and economic factors, amongst others. These factors have been the subject of several studies, though there is still no widely accepted agreement on exactly how they affect the decision to create a new enterprise. This study will provide evidence on which variables affect the new venture decision, as well as the extent of their influence based on the analysis of a sample of 7524 cases, using information obtained via the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2001 Project. At the same time, we provide evidence to show that there are differences in the way these variables affect new ventures born out of need or out of opportunity.  相似文献

In this study, the authors examine the effects of commitment‐based human resource management practices on the performance of small businesses. These effects are examined through the mediators of employee involvement and quit rates. In addition, they contribute to arguments that the effect of human resource management practices on performance takes place through the establishment and support of exchange relationships with employees. Using responses from CEOs and employees of small businesses, their results indicate that human resource practices in small businesses that are based on leaders' views of employee commitment are positively related to revenue growth and perceptions of performance. Further, the authors found that employee involvement and quit rates mediate these relationships.  相似文献

The main contention of this paper is that the contribution that telecommunications can make to rural economic development will vary appreciably from one area to another, depending on the presence or absence of a range of other features of the rural area environment. An attempt to analyse variations in local telecommunications potential in the case of Scotland is reported upon. We also presents local area case studies in order to demonstrate the differing ways in which telecommunications is becoming central to the functioning of the rural economy. In so doing, it is argued that ‘the rural economy’ stereotype is belied by the evidence of rural areas’ integration into national and even global communications networks. The paper finally considers the considerable variability in the nature of the supply of telecommunications services to rural areas, and predicts some negative consequences for more remote rural areas in the shift occurring from a universally-provided integrated network to market-driven specialized network.  相似文献

Using a unique data set of more than 2800 organizations in 19 countries, this article investigated the variations in adoption of workplace work–family arrangements and whether this variation can be explained either by differences in welfare-state contexts or by organization-related factors. Although the welfare-state context contributed significantly to the explanation of workplace work–family arrangements, the adoption of workplace arrangements was more strongly related to organizational conditions and characteristics. However, the results also show that when the development of work–family arrangements is mainly left to the market, as in the liberal context, employers do not fully make up for the absence of public provisions. The findings support the institutional argument that public provisions help to create a normative climate that gives rise to new social expectations and ‘a sense of entitlement’ regarding work–family support. The study supports the rational choice perspective where both employers' institutional environments and organizational factors are viewed as resources and constraints influencing employers' decision to adopt work–family arrangements.  相似文献

家族企业已成为中国经济发展的重要力量。但学术界对其代际继承和权杖交接问题的研究却严重滞后,这不仅对家族企业经营和管理产生不良影响,而且对我国经济转型和产业结构调整等宏观经济调控造成一定的阻碍。对387家家族控制上市公司的实证分析结果显示:家族实际控制人对上市公司的控制方式对公司盈利能力和业绩有负相关关系。家族实际控制人出任公司重要管理岗位与公司盈利能力有正相关的关系。  相似文献

This paper analyses how different institutional frameworks condition the influence of selected social traits: the social stigma to entrepreneurial failure and the presence of entrepreneurial role models, over entrepreneurial activity levels in a rural area with strong industrial and entrepreneurial history versus those that are not necessarily characterized by such a tradition. To attain this objective we undertake a rare events logit model using a robust Spanish dataset from 2003. The main contribution of the study indicates that there is a significant difference between entrepreneurial activity levels in rural Catalonia as compared to rural areas in the rest of Spain. This difference is in large part explained by the distinct impact of the observed social traits, where the presence of entrepreneurial role models is a prominent explanatory factor favouring entrepreneurial activity in rural (Catalonia) areas with strong industrial tradition. The findings of the paper back the growing call for territorial specificity in the formulation and application of entrepreneurship support measures, distinguishing between rural and urban areas. Hence, and in accordance with the new rural paradigm, entrepreneurship promotion should take a more holistic character and become an integral part of any rural development plan. The paper's results imply that fostering business creation in rural areas is more often than not a generational process, where the search for short-term benefits can result in the mistaken impression that in rural areas entrepreneurship support policy does not work.  相似文献

在资源优势理论与企业核心能力理论的基础上,本文着重探讨了,资金、技术、管理等都处于劣势的家族企业获得竞争优势的一个重要源泉是家庭资本(社会资本的一个子集),家庭资本是家族企业潜在资产,不能直接产生竞争优势,但能创造与企业持续竞争优势更直接有关的资产。本文认为对于这些资产,或者仅仅只有家族企业能获得,或者家族企业比非家族企业更容易获得,因此这些家庭资本成为家族企业的独特资源优势,最终导致家族企业竞争优势的形成。  相似文献

While it is well established that high‐performance work systems (HPWSs) affect firm‐level outcomes within large, complex organizations, less is known about how they create benefits for firms within the small‐business sector. Using a knowledge‐creation perspective, this study examines the impact of HPWSs in small and medium enterprises and examines whether the impact observed depends on the small‐business leader's capacity to obtain additional HR knowledge from an external expert, as well as the leader's HR background and knowledge. Archival and survey data were obtained from 294 small‐business organizations, with survey responses obtained from both the small‐business leader and an HR consultant assigned to the small business. Findings suggest that leader perceptions of HR effectiveness are positively related to the use of HPWSs and that this relationship is moderated both by the communication patterns between the small‐business leader and the HR consultant assigned to the firm and the small‐business leader's HR knowledge. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

家族企业是现存企业经营模式中最为普遍的商业组织形式。但存续一直成为了大部分家族企业无法逾越障碍。家族企业因为较强的责任归属感、自身荣誉感以及知识经验连续性而带来其他商业组织形式的企业无法比拟的优势,但这样的组织形式同样也是企业发展的双韧剑。权责纠纷,传承问题致使大部分家族企业在经营的过程中都出现了阻碍企业发展的主要原因。针对于以上的问题,本文将家族企业经营的优势以及劣势进行分析。对于家族企业的长期存续提出相对的建议。  相似文献

本文以2010—2012年中国大陆省级行政区的宏观经济数据和企业家能力的微观数据为研究样本,通过理论模型与实证检验分析企业家能力与经济增长的关系,以及不同市场化进程下企业家能力对经济增长的差异化贡献。研究发现,企业家人力资本水平越高,社会责任能力越强,越不利于经济增长;相反,企业家关系网络能力和战略领导能力越强,越有利于经济增长。在不同市场化水平下,企业家能力对经济增长的影响也有所不同。市场化水平越高,人力资本水平和社会责任能力对经济增长的负面影响越弱,关系网络能力对经济增长的促进作用也将有所减弱。  相似文献
