饭店人才流动率高有多方面原因,其中一个重要原因是饭店企业的人才环境不尽如人意。本文对饭店人才发展的先决条件——人才环境进行了研究,根据ERG理论将饭店人才环境确定为基础环境、主导环境、驱动环境3项一级指标,利用德尔菲法确定了14项二级指标,并通过运用层次分析法,借助相关计算机统计软件,对测评指标的权重进行确定,构建了饭店人才环境评价指标体系。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Personality instruments have been used in college classrooms to help students understand how their interpersonal behaviors will affect their professional work. This investigation assessed how the interpersonal behaviors of students majoring in commercial recreation changed over a five-year time frame, from college students to practicing professionals. Although from a small sample size, data indicated that a majority of students changed personality categories; however, these changes were not statistically significant. Demographic variables showed no relationship with personality changes. These findings indicated personality assessments used in undergraduate courses may be helpful in preparing students to understand their professional style.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This is an exploratory research project about meeting planning professionals. Survey responses were collected from 288 meeting professionals in an Internet based survey. The results found a significant difference in perception of minority representation in the industry. The study also found that career counselors are not making students in high school or college aware of meeting planning as a profession, so therefore, they are not studying it in college. People instead are finding out about it in nontraditional ways, such as learning on the job, friends and co-workers. As a result, top skills listed that are needed to succeed included personality or character traits rather than skills that could be learned.  相似文献

自1979年以来,我国旅游客运索道从无到有,迅速发展至目前的近300条,全国绝大多数风景名胜区都建有或正在修建索道,为促进景区交通运输现代化和旅游业的发展起到了积极作用。然而,并非各方面人士都认同旅游索道这一新生事物。针对不断传出的反对者的批驳声,本人谨以山东泰山旅游索道股份有限公司的自身实践对反对意见中的几点误区加以分析,以阐述旅游客运索道在风景名胜区内存在的合理性。  相似文献

Personal presentation attributes have long been understood to affect perceptions of competence and capabilities. To that end, this study investigates seven attributes associated with favorable interview presentation, including overall physical attractiveness, neatness and grooming, clothing color, conservative versus trendy attire, professional versus casual attire, and body modification (including tattoos and piercings). Participants (n = 108), including students, faculty, and hospitality industry professionals, sorted an orthogonal array of 16 full-color, laminated cards that contained photos so that respondents could see levels of clothing color, clothing conservativeness, and degree of professional attire. The remaining attributes and their corresponding levels were shown on respective analog indicators. The conjoint analysis results indicate that grooming and professional attire are the most important attributes in shaping favorable perceptions. Furthermore, faculty perceived conservative clothing to be better while students and industry professionals indicated that trendy clothing creates a more favorable presentation on the part of a job candidate.  相似文献

Abstract

Partnerships between educators and industry professionals can facilitate students' tourism career opportunities. Considering this, a mail-out questionnaire was undertaken to assess the attitudes and perceptions of tourism educators (n = 56) and tourism professionals (n = 100) on tourism education issues. Results indicated that one-quarter of professionals believe university tourism majors provide graduates with a competitive advantage and both groups consider tourism/hospitality, marketing and management as important business majors. Competencies in logical thinking, social interaction, tourism knowledge and concepts, and generic skills are also considered important by both groups with specific workplace competencies and professional experience considered relatively less important by educators (p < .05). In conclusion, communication networks jointly facilitatedby academicsand industry are recommended.  相似文献

This study examines the value of a hotel stay from the perspective of hotel customers and hotel service professionals. Respondents, including hotel customers and hotel service professionals, were asked the extent of their agreement or disagreement with statements related to four different value dimensions: functional value, emotional value, social value, and customer-perceived sacrifices. Results showed that there are significant differences between the hotel service professionals’ perceived value of the hotel stay and customers’ perceived value of the hotel stay. The differences are found in social value and customer-perceived sacrifices.  相似文献

通过实地监测并全面分析生态旅游区张家界环境演变趋势,表明用面积计算法、线路计算法、卡口法、自然净化量测公式等目前常用的旅游区容量计算方法,难以准确计算生态旅游区人文建筑动态阈值。本文提出了基于环境脆弱因子的游客住宿设施阈值计量模型,并在典型的生态旅游区张家界进行了验证。实证研究表明,住宿设施阈值计量模型是生态旅游区建筑规模调控的有效工具。  相似文献
