在香港回归四周年的日子里

四年历程并不寻常 到今年７月，香港特别行政区成立四周年了。四年时间，非常之短，但四年历程却是极不寻常的。 香港回归祖国之后，面对着两大历史转变：香港特别行政区的成立和亚洲金融风暴的冲击。 对于前者，香港坚持实行“一国两制”、“港人治港”、“高度自治”的方针政策，始终沿着香港基本法设定的轨道前进。中央政府从来不干预属于香港自治权范围内的事务。香港资本主义制度不变，拥有健全的法治，市民享有各种自由，坚决奉行市场主导的经济原则。香港还是香港。 对于后者，香港及时进行了艰苦的经济调整，面对着历史上从未有过的…     

2002年香港经济形势的回顾与展望

随着2002年外围经济形势出现好转，以及特区政府出台一系列政策，香港经济逐步恢复增长，但是仍然困难重重，本文对香港经济2002年的情况进行了分析，并在此基础上对香港经济前景进行了展望。     

转型发展的“香港经验”

2009年12月，笔者参加了“省政府处级于部公务员香港培训班”，聆听了专家、学者对国际和香港经济、社会的介绍，考察了九龙赤柱社区和新界西贡乡事委员会，感受了转型中香港经济的发展。结合这次学习和感受，谈几点认识。     

香港经济：新一年新形势

今年是新的２１世纪的第一年，香港经济正是在摆脱亚洲金融风暴困境，走上复苏之路而进入新年新世纪的。 稳定复苏 双位增长 到２０００年底，香港回归祖国整三年半了。当１９９７年香港迈入新纪元时，前所未见的大灾难──亚洲金融风暴猛袭香港，香港经济进入了极其艰难的经济调整期。 １９９８年５３％的负增长为数十年来所仅见。１９９９年第二季起恢复正增长，当年增长为３１％。２０００年起才稳定地走上复苏之路，头三季分别为１４．２％、１０．９％和１０．４％的增长预计第四季亦为双位数增长，政府预测全年增长１０％，社会预计还…     

以史为鉴 审慎乐观

五月中旬，“2005财富全球论坛”在北京举行。这是该论坛的第九次年会，也是继1999年在上海、2001年在香港之后，第三次在中国举行，充分显示世界对中国在全球经济增长中发挥了“引擎”作用的肯定和关注。     

回归十年 东方之珠 光彩绚烂

从1997年到2007年，短短十年的时间，我们就见证了“一国两制”由伟大的科学构想变为生动的现实;从1997年到2007年，长长十年的时间，我们见证了香港经济抵御冲击、迅速复苏、持续增长的全部过程。回归十年后，我们看到了香港作为东方之珠所绽放的绚烂光彩。     

香港会展业：10年迎来35万内地买家

“虽然在中国的版图上，黑龙江和香港是相隔最遥远的两个地区．但是，我们之间的经济互补性很强，有着广泛的合作空间。我们已经在香港举办了两届‘香港周’活动了．现在看来，效果相当好。”7月2日下午，黑龙江省商务厅厅长叶晓峰接受《中国经济周刊》记者采访时说，“通过在香港举办活动，先后有22300余家香港企业、香港各界人士13500人次来黑龙江省参观考察。”     

周启良：向世界展示香港的强项

香港贸发局自成立以来，这个平台的边界，已经扩展到全球，成为香港经济的“推进器”。2010年，贸发局在中国的推广活动又搭上世博之桥。在香港书展巡回路演来到上海的时候，香港贸易发展局副总裁周启良接受了本刊访问。     

1999年美国经济发展概述及200年前景预测

美国经济自1990-1991年短暂萧条后，进入了持续稳定的增长时期，到1999年12月，已连续增长了105个月。从目前的实际情况看，经济增长将持续到下个世纪。它即将超越60年代的106个月的经济持续增长水平，成为战后美国经济增长史上最长的时期。美国政界、商界和经济界异口同声称这段时期为黄金时代，也有人称之为“新经济时代”。

1998年金融危机中央宣布人民币不贬值 1998年香港受到亚洲金融危机的严重冲击，国际“金融大鳄”利用亚洲金融危机狙击港元，扰乱香港的金融市场秩序．香港金融体系一时风雨飘摇。在关键时刻，中央政府多次郑重、坚决地宣布人民币不贬值，坚决支持维护港元的联系汇率制度，给予特区政府有力的支持。

The situation with currency markets in the CIS countries in 2009 was characterized by considerable fluctuations in national currencies against the background of the major problems in the financial sector, economic recession in most countries, slowing inflation in the consumer market, and deflation in prices of manufactured goods.     

Gender Inequality in Employment in Mozambique

We investigate the gender employment gap in the expanding non‐subsistence sector of the economy in Mozambique, a country still characterized by a large subsistence agricultural sector. We show evidence that the gender gap has widened over time and we identify two structural factors strongly associated with it. One factor is the still relatively lower level of female human capital, with less attained education, as well as literacy and Portuguese proficiency rates. The lower conditional employment probabilities of married women, as compared with men, is the other factor. These findings point at expanding women´s education and facilitating the access of married women to the emerging labour market as the most effective ways of achieving a more inclusive growth path that does not leave women behind.

Women in rural development in Venda

Women frequently constitute the largest section of the adult population in rural communities of developing areas. For this reason, rural development can only take place if women at grassroots level are drawn to the centre of the arena, and their traditional concerns recognised and used as the starting point. In Venda, this approach is showing some positive results.     

Hysteresis in unemployment in the Netherlands

Summary The Dutch labour market situation in the eighties can be characterized by the hysteresis phenomenon, i. e. a rising natural rate of unemployment as a result of the rise of actual unemployment in the past. It appears that the hysteresis phenomenon is more important in The Netherlands than in France and the United States and as relevant as in Germany and the United Kingdom. Because of the steep rise of unemployment in The Netherlands the natural rate of unemployment may have risen more than in Other European countries. As a consequence, the wage depressing effect of the current high unemployment rate has diminished rapidly.I thank J.C. Siebrand, D.P. Broer and C.B. 5月,主城气温持续走高,春天的脚步渐远,夏天悄然而至.而此时的石柱黄水春意正浓,在那里,依然可以清晰地聆听到春天的花语,即使在一米阳光之内,也能感受到春天的美丽. 踏青赏花揽春色,风景这边独好 以“万亩森林、万亩石芽、万亩草场、万亩火棘”四大景观著称的千野草场,这时候总是澄澈的蓝天陪衬着悠悠白云,碧绿的草地映衬着逍遥牛羊.这里不但有北国草原的粗犷,亦有南方草地的妩媚.
