高效液相色谱法测定苯海拉明薄荷霜中盐酸苯海拉明的含量

目的：建立测定苯海拉明薄荷霜中盐酸苯海拉明的含量方法。方法采用高效液相色谱法（HPLC）,色谱柱为Phenomenex Luna-CN柱（200.0 mm×4.6 mm,5μm）,流动相为乙腈-水-三乙胺（50：50：1）（用冰醋酸调节pH值至6.5）,流速为1.0 ml/min,检测波长为258 nm。结果盐酸苯海拉明在0.0411～0.6170 mg/ml浓度范围内,线性关系良好（r=0.9998）,测得平均回收率为99.28%,RSD为0.81%。结论本方法准确、灵敏、可靠,可用于苯海拉明薄荷霜的含量测定。

The Cost of Life Expectancy and the Implicit Social Valuation of Life

A new method of estimating the economic value of life is proposed. Using cross-country data, an equation is estimated to explain life expectancy as a function of real consumption of goods and services. The associated cost function for life expectancy in terms of the prices of specific goods and services is used to estimate the cost of a reduction in age-specific mortality rates sufficient to save the life of one person. The cost of saving a life in OECD countries is as much as 1000 times that in the poorest countries. Ethical implications are discussed.     

Life Satisfaction Dynamics with Quarterly Life Event Data*

Using life satisfaction responses from Australian panel data we examine the questions of when and to what extent individuals are affected by major positive and negative life events, including changes in financial situation, marital status, death of a close relative, and being the victim of crime. The key advantage of our data is that we are able to identify these events on a quarterly basis rather than on the yearly basis used by previous studies. We find evidence that life events are not randomly distributed, that individuals anticipate major events to a large extent, and that they fully adapt to many events within 12 months. The estimates can be used to calculate monetary values needed to compensate individuals for life events. Using a new valuation methodology that incorporates these dynamic factors produces considerably smaller compensation valuations than those calculated using the standard approach.     

Life During Growth

A remarkable diversity of indicators shows quality of life across nations to be positively associated with per capita income. At the same time, the changes in quality of life as income grows are surprisingly uneven. Either in levels or changes, moreover, the effect of exogenous shifts over time is surprisingly strong compared to growth effects. This article reaches this conclusion with a panel dataset of 81 indicators covering up to four time periods (1960, 1970, 1980, and 1990). The indicators cover seven subjects: (1) individual rights and democracy, (2) political instability and war, (3) education, (4) health, (5) transport and communications, (6) inequality across class and gender, and (7) bads. With a SUR estimator in levels, income per capita has an impact on the quality of life that is significant, positive, and more important than exogenous shifts for 32 out of 81 indicators. With a fixed-effects estimator, growth has an impact on the quality of life that is significant, positive, and more important than exogenous shifts for 10 out of 81 indicators. With a first-differences IV estimator, growth has a causal impact on the quality of life that is significant, positive, and more important than exogenous shifts for six out of 69 quality of life indicators. The conclusion speculates about such explanations for the pattern of results as (1) the long and variable lags that may come between growth and changes in the quality of life and (2) the possibility that global socioeconomic progress is more important that home-country growth for many quality-of-life indicators.

本文运用中国微观调查数据及中国地震灾害相关数据,研究了巨灾经历对个体亲社会行为的影响,并对可能的影响渠道进行了讨论.本文研究结果表明,经历过巨灾的个体,其亲社会行为会显著增加,且经过检验这一结果是稳健的.进一步的机制检验发现,巨灾经历可能通过政府信任、人际信任这两个渠道影响个体亲社会行为.本文证明了巨灾经历对亲社会行为可能的影响,并证明了灾害发生时政府救灾和社会救灾为社会带来的正外部性.     

Flexible Life Annuities

Annuity contracts typically deliver a stream of income at a predetermined level in order to insure against the risk of longevity. This paper explores whether flexible annuities, which give subscribers the possibility to choose between different levels of annuity, are welfare enhancing. In the case where agents gradually discover their actual probability of survival, a predetermined and "one-size-fits-all" annuity plan is optimal. If an expenditure risk is added along with the longevity risk, a flexible annuity plan is better even though the consumption path cannot be isolated from uninsured expenses anymore.
