企业的创新绩效受到企业在网络中的关系型社会资本的制约,这一研究正逐渐受到学者的关注,但相关研究中关系型社会资本对企业创新绩效影响的路径探索往往并不深入。基于此,从信任、沟通、冲突管理三个维度测度企业的关系型社会资本,考察了其对企业创新绩效的影响模式,以及知识转移在此作用中的中介效应。结果显示:关系型社会资本的三个维度均对创新绩效有显著的促进作用,其中有效沟通的作用效果更明显,同时知识转移在该关系中发挥了部分中介效应。研究建议指出,企业应注重构建经济型与政企型社会关系网络,加强关系型社会资本的构建与维护,尤其要注重通过促进企业间的沟通有效性来提升企业间的知识转移效果及创新绩效。  相似文献

企业的技术创新需要借助内部与外部的知识,而社会资本是企业获取知识的主要来源之一。本文在分析企业的社会资本、吸收能力、知识创造和技术创新绩效四者之间关系的基础上,提出了6项关系假设,并基于此构建了社会资本与企业技术创新绩效关系的理论模型,指出企业需要通过增加社会资本的积累来促进企业吸收和创造知识的能力,进一步提高企业的技术创新绩效。  相似文献

基于社会资本理论和资源依赖理论,文章以我国A股上市公司2008-2013年连锁董事全网络企业为研究对象,探讨企业内外部社会资本协同对企业创新投入创新绩效转化的协同机制.结果表明:创新投入能够显著促进企业外部网络声望和网络权力的获取;企业创新投入将通过提高企业网络声望和网络权力进而对创新绩效产生积极影响;高管团队多样性越高,企业创新投入对创新绩效的影响作用越强;高管团队多样性越高,企业外部网络声望和网络权力对创新绩效的影响作用越强.  相似文献

文章从集群网络的视角分析企业知识创新绩效的影响因素,并将集群企业知识创新绩效形成的过程机制可以分解为三个关键问题:集群创新网络特征分析,集群企业创新网络特征对企业从创新网络获取知识的影响分析,以及集群企业创新网络特征、知识获取和知识创新绩效间的作用机理分析。最后,通过构建集群创新网络—知识获取—知识创新绩效的综合概念模型,揭示产业集群创新网络特征与企业知识创新绩效之间的关系。  相似文献

社会资本是指个体在社会环境中所形成的一系列关系资源,具体以信息共享、互惠互利等形式表现。从结构洞理论与资源依赖理论中可以看出,独立董事由于其特有的"外部性"特征,能够通过自身的社会关系网络为企业提供无法从内部获取的关键资源。文章在已有独立董事与企业绩效研究的基础上,对创业板企业中独立董事社会资本这一因素与企业绩效之间的关系进行了纵深研究,实证检验了独立董事社会资本的三个维度在创业板企业绩效提高方面发挥的作用。研究结果表明,相对于具有政治关系的独立董事而言,任职规模大、社会声望高的独立董事更能推动创业板企业绩效的发展,且独立董事的声誉调节着上述影响机制,能够在一定程度上加强企业对网络中资源的获取和利用程度。  相似文献

社会网络对于网络成员通过组织间关系来获取关键资源具有重要价值,而企业在网络结构中的位置则是影响其资源获取能力的关键因素。同时,企业的资源获取能力还会受到企业与网络外部组织之间的关系联结以及市场环境等情境因素的影响。本文基于社会网络理论,以网络中心性作为自变量,以创新关联、政治关联和技术不确定性作为调节变量,对网络中心性对企业绩效的影响机制进行了理论探索与实证研究。结果显示,网络中心性对企业绩效具有显著的正向影响,创新关联和政治关联均对网络中心性与企业绩效之间的这种关系产生显著的正向调节作用,而技术不确定性的调节作用并未得到支持。  相似文献

选取2010—2019年数字经济上市企业为样本,以理论与实证研究相结合的方法探究数字经济背景下社会网络、知识网络对创新绩效的影响,并分析融资约束的中介效应.研究发现,数字经济上市企业的社会网络与知识网络双重嵌入对创新绩效发展具有促进作用.其作用机制表现为:社会网络嵌入缓解数字经济企业融资约束,从而推动创新绩效发展.而融资约束在知识网络嵌入与创新绩效关系中没有发挥显著中介效应.文章创新之处在于从交互赋能视角研究数字经济背景下网络嵌入对企业创新绩效的影响,对以往单一网络嵌入的相关研究进行丰富和补充.企业应充分利用社会网络和知识网络的交互赋能机制,缓解融资约束,不断提升资源获取能力,提升团队的知识敏感度和知识迁移能力,提升数字经济企业创新绩效.  相似文献

This paper analyzes the implications of belonging to a cluster through the relationship between structural social capital and knowledge acquisition. The findings suggest structural social capital only indirectly affects knowledge acquisition through the relational and cognitive dimensions of firms’ membership of a cluster. However, the structural dimension also has a direct impact on knowledge for external firms outside a cluster. This paper contributes to the cluster literature with a better contextualization and understanding of the relationship between structural social capital and knowledge acquisition. In addition, the paper also consolidates the inter-organizational approach to social capital theory by helping to understand how and in what context social capital dimensions are interrelated. The study analyzes how firms can acquire valuable knowledge from their networks, filling the gap in the literature on how this process occurs inside and outside clusters. This works also proposes recommendations for companies and institutions, and new complementary lines of research.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Emerging research demonstrates that structural social capital facilitates the resource acquisition of entrepreneurs residing in multiply deprived areas. However, their usage of relational and cognitive social capital that translates to accessible resources is not well understood. We contribute to knowledge and comprehensively examine effects of structural, relational and cognitive social capital taken together on the resource acquisition of entrepreneurs residing in multiply deprived areas. Results from a national survey of entrepreneurs residing in multiply deprived areas across England show that large networks, bonding ties, trust, reciprocity, obligations and expectations, and shared language and codes facilitate their resource acquisition. Also, we demonstrate that they are reluctant or unable to bridge social distance and adopt narrative storytelling. Furthermore, the results indicate that entrepreneurs residing in multiply deprived areas in the most deprived regions suffer from less resource acquisition.  相似文献

It is often assumed that directors with human capital such as prior management experience or independence from the company are the most influential board members. By contrast, in a survey of all the board members in 14 companies we found that ties to others in a network of strong ties among those who meet outside of board meetings were more important predictors of social influence than human capital or ties across boards. These ties within the board represent the social capital of members in the form of prior relationships with other directors, ties to others on the board, and membership in cliques within the board's network of ties. These results support a social capital perspective on influence that emphasizes relationships with others on the board as important factors in the social dynamics of board decision-making.  相似文献

本文基于社会资本相关理论,采用案例研究方法,探讨国有上市公司民营化过程中,原管理层借助社会资本,通过隐形控制掌控上市公司,进而掏空上市公司的行为。通过对广东博信这一典型案例的深入研究,本文发现:在中国民营化的现实背景下,国有上市公司原管理层利用国有产权转移的机会,调动各种社会资本,实现对上市公司的隐形控制并掏空上市公司的行为确实存在。本文提供了在国有股股权转让的现实背景下,原管理层调动各种社会资本变相掏空上市公司的证据,丰富了掏空的相关理论,有助于学术界和实务界从社会资本这一视角重新审视掏空行为中控制权这一重要概念。  相似文献

Global careers, typically defined as involving multiple international relocations including various positions and assignments in several countries, have recently received increasing research attention. This interest is driven by a growing corporate need for managers who are able to deal with global integration and co-ordination in large multinational corporations. An important aspect of the competency of a global manager is his or her social capital, i.e. the network relationships he or she possesses. However, while the concept of social capital has been widely used in a number of research fields recently, it has received relatively little attention thus far in the IHRM context. This paper contributes to this research gap, and seeks to answer the empirical research question of how multiple international relocations affect the social capital of a manager. Our qualitative interviews of 20 Finnish MNC managers with global careers identified that such careers represent a ‘social capital paradox’. Global careers are characterized by a broad and diverse network of both internal and external ties. This breadth and diversity relate to (1) the managers' internal contact networks of weak ties (2) their internal support networks of strong ties and (3) their external networks of both strong and weak ties. These typical characteristics represent three major social capital paradoxes in the sense that they carry both significant social–capital-related benefits as well as potential risks.  相似文献

This study integrates social resources theory and social exchange theory arguments to examine the knowledge benefits that international assignees' host‐unit social capital entails upon repatriation. Specifically, I hypothesize that assignees' host‐unit social capital, operationalized as their number of work group contacts and their proportion of trusted ties at the host unit, positively relates to two specific knowledge benefits upon repatriation: continued access to host‐unit knowledge; and continued transfer of host‐unit knowledge to colleagues in assignees' new positions. Assignees' perceptions of career and repatriation support are expected to moderate these relationships. The hypotheses are tested with a longitudinal sample of 85 inpatriate assignees in 10 German multinationals. I contribute to the literatures on international assignments, social capital, and MNC knowledge flows by explaining how and under what conditions assignees' host‐unit social capital entails knowledge benefits upon repatriation.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to extend and elaborate social capital approaches to organizational creativity by identifying different mechanisms that employees can deploy to promote the development of social capital through social interaction, relationship quality and network ties. The findings, based on data from a sample of 382 employees across different areas of expertise and countries in a multinational manufacturing firm, indicate that relationship quality and network ties play a mediating role between social interaction and organizational creativity. The findings of this study contribute to the development of a conceptual theoretical model for explaining the interrelationships among three mechanisms of social capital and organizational creativity performance.  相似文献

Although several prior studies have examined associations between firm social capital and environmental sustainability, the links between relational resources (i.e., relational capital and ties strength), environmental knowledge integration, and environmental performance have yet to be well established at the micro-level. This study, therefore, aims to determine (1) how environmental knowledge integration serves as a mediating mechanism for the relationship between relational capital and environmental performance and (2) how this impact differs at different levels of ties strength. A quantitative approach has been adopted to examine the main hypotheses using a structural equation model (SEM) technique. Two groups of actors were surveyed, including chief executive officers (CEOs) and financial officers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In total, 216 survey responses were gathered, suggesting a response rate of 73.22%. Our findings suggest that environmental knowledge integration is a vital mediating mechanism for the relationship between relational capital and SMEs' environmental performance. Also, we find that ties strength moderates the indirect effect of relational capital on SMEs' environmental performance via environmental knowledge integration. Our empirical evidence provides recommendations for SMEs' managers and policymakers to promote environmental sustainability in the emerging market context.  相似文献

The literature on human resource management (HRM) indicates that HRM plays an important role in merger and acquisition (M&A) integration success, but pays little attention to the mechanisms for knowledge sharing in post-M&A integration. Limited work has been carried out to provide understanding on how social capital and HRM practices influence intra-organizational knowledge sharing in M&A integration. This paper primarily focuses on the phenomenon of social capital and HRM practices – one of the primary means by which knowledge sharing can occur within firms. The main aim of this paper is to provide an alternative framework that introduces the literature on HRM and social capital to discuss how HRM practices and the various dimensions of social capital may enhance knowledge sharing in post-M&A integration. Drawing on the literature on social capital and HRM, we offer an alternative view on the issue of knowledge sharing in M&A integration by explaining how specific HRM practices that have an impact on employees’ knowledge, skills and abilities for participating in knowledge sharing activities may depend on relational, cognitive and structural social capital. We isolate a number of HRM practices and social capital variables that may enhance knowledge sharing in post-M&A integration, and develop a research model and propositions for future empirical investigation.  相似文献
