基于蚁群算法的应急物流配送车辆调度研究

以车辆配送问题为背景,运用了蚁群算法来求解应急物流配送车辆调度模型。在带有时间窗的基础上考虑应急系统各节点的运输距离和费用构造模型。根据模型的特点,设计了蚁群算法求解方法,并针对蚂蚁路径选择做了改进性分析。实例研究结果表明．蚁群算法在应急物流配送车辆调度问题中具有合理性、可行性和有效性。     

时变路网无能力约束车辆路径优化

讨论了一类时变路网下的无能力约束车辆配送路径优化问题,建立了基于时变路网的以配送总耗时最短为优化目标的无能力约束车辆配送路径优化模型。提出了基于实时Dijkstra算法的模型求解方法。数值算例表明考虑路网时变特性得到的优化配送方案将更加符合配送实际。     

现代物流配送系统中优化调度模型的研究

随着物流配送集约化、一体化的发展,常将配送的各环节综合起来考虑,核心部分为配送车辆的集货、货物装配及送货过程。进行配送系统优化,主要就是指配送车辆的优化调度,包括车辆选择优化、装载货物选择优化、配送路线规划优化,以及三者一体化的优化。在处理该问题时,可以根据配送调度不同要求的目标函数,如运距最短、配送时间最短、运输费用最少等,将调度问题归结为表述问题的数学模型,然后用计算机求得合理可行的优化方案,在配送运作中付诸实施。文中主要是研究在现代物流配送系统中优化调度模型的基本结构及构造。     

云计算环境下的物流资源调度算法研究

针对系统处理大规模物流调度信息能力不足的情况,提出了一种基于云计算环境下的物流资源调度优化模型对问题进行求解.在云计算环境下处理订单信息、车辆调度信息,并针对所有订单生成最合理的配送方案,通过对物流主要资源配送车辆的调度研究,建立配送路径算法模型以及最小配送成本算法模型,作为物流资源调度方案的解决策略.通过仿真结果表明,该算法能有效处理大量的物流资源调度信息,同时缩短计算求解时间.

带混合时间窗的配送车辆路径问题研究

针对传统的配送车辆路径问题,在传统的运距及容量等限制下,增加客户的混合时间窗和车辆在客户点的服务时间,以惩罚、配送总成本最低为目标,构建出带有混合时间窗的车辆路径问题的数学模型.并引入优良基因及最优个体保护策略改进遗传算法,同时设计参数自适应调整公式调整交叉概率,设计了带混合时间窗的配送车辆路径问题的改进遗传算法,最后由实例证明了VRPMTW模型及遗传算法的有效性.     

基于粒子群算法的应急物流配送车辆调度研究

结合应急物流配送的车辆优化调度问题,根据应急物流配送的突出特点,对应急物流配送车辆调度路径优化进行了探讨。并建立应急物流配送车辆调度模型,用粒子群算法对车辆的配送路径进行优化。最后通过对实例的分析,验证了本文所提出的模型、算法具有合理性和可行性。     

考虑碳排放的农产品冷链车辆路径问题研究

这篇文章是在传统车辆路径问题的研究基础上,引入农产品冷链配送的背景。考虑冷链运输企业实际配送中会遇见的问题,并将其量化,构建一个符合农产品冷链物流实际的车辆路径问题模型,并采用遗传算法进行求解,最后使用Matlab软件进行仿真实验,得出最优路径选择结果。将碳排放纳入成本考虑,也就是将环境保护考虑在内,从社会责任的角度去规划其配送路径。     

An assessment and ranking of barriers to doing environmental business with China

The transfer of environmental goods and services to China will increasingly be of importance to developed nations as the demand for environmental management services increases in China. A review of the literature on technology transfer to China revealed a range of well recognized and commonly known constraints to transferring technologies to China. There were gaps in the literature in relation to the concerns that environmental professionals have regarding technology transfer to China, as there is limited information on the transfer in environmental goods and services to China. A survey of the non‐trade barriers and their practical impact on the transfer of environmental technologies and goods and services to China, focusing on Australian suppliers, was undertaken to address these gaps. The survey, which was developed from barriers to technology transfer already described in the extensive research addressing the wider issues of technology transfer to China, targeted environmental professionals but also included other professionals with interests in transferring environmental goods and services to China. From the survey, the highest priority barriers to transferring environmental goods and service to China were identified, and those that are most likely to limit Australian vendors of environmental goods and services in their technology transfers to China were protection of intellectual property (IP), limitations of the rule of law, fragmentation and bureaucracy of the Chinese government and establishing appropriate level of ownership (of environmental goods and services providers in China). Examples of Australian experience were also examined, which confirmed these barriers to providing the needed technology and innovation to manage China's increasing environmental impacts. The research also shows that the barriers identified do not appear to be unique to transfer of environmental goods and services but rather generic to the transfer and adoption of Australian technology into China. Sowing Seeds of Displacement: Gentrification and Food Justice in Oakland,CA

Green gentrification is the process through which the elimination of hazardous conditions or the development of green spaces is mobilized as a strategy to draw in affluent new residents and capital projects. Based on observations and interviews in Oakland, California, we argue that food justice organizations seeking to promote access to healthy food in low-income communities can unwittingly create spaces that foster this process. Despite a desire to serve long-term residents, activists embody a hip green aesthetic that is palatable to affluent whites and can be appropriated by urban boosters to promote the neighborhood. We use this process as a lens to theorize links between food and green gentrification, highlighting the importance of food to cities’ efforts to brand themselves as ripe for redevelopment, and understand green gentrification as a racialized process tied to cultural foodways. We also attend to the practical stakes for food justice activism, arguing that a clear understanding of green gentrification and food justice activists’ unwitting role in it can help the latter to attempt to mitigate their culpability and seek to develop broad inclusive strategies for locally led development without displacement.

UNDERSTANDING PREFERENCE IMPRECISION

The term ‘preference imprecision’ seems to have different meanings to different people. In the literature, one can find references to a number of expressions. For example: vagueness, incompleteness, randomness, unsureness, indecisiveness and thick indifference curves. Some of these are theoretical constructs, some are empirical. The purpose of this paper is to survey the various different approaches and to try to link them together: to see if they are all addressed to the same issue, and to come to some conclusions. In the course of this survey, we report on evidence concerning the existence of preference imprecision, and its impact on theoretical and empirical work.

Reprint of “Sensitive translations: Sensitive dimension and knowledge within two craftsmen's workplaces”

In our paper we address the issue of the relations between knowledge and the sensitive dimension by taking into account and comparing the contribution to the production of a chair deployed by two craftsmen working within the Italian design furniture industry sector.Relying on an ethnographic account of their work, we have been able to describe in detail the way in which the interaction among the bodies of the two craftsmen and those of the artifacts they contribute to develop takes place and gives way to innovation.By taking into account the role of bodies and the sensitive dimension we outline a contribution to Actor-Network Theory and its theory of knowledge.Indeed, in this article we propose a model of working knowledge in order to account for corporal interaction on the workplace. In our model there are two axes to describe the interactions among bodies. In the first one interaction moves from detail to the whole. In the second, interaction moves from an engaged position to a disengaged one. In so doing, we are able to draw a space of corporal knowledge. The craftsman's skill lies in his/her capacity to move within this space and to let knowledge grow while moving within it.

Does the Company Lawyer Have Your Back? A Brief Look at the Need for Personal Private Liability Insurance

There are four traditional uses of private personal liability insurance dating from the 1970s to the present (Hayes 1979; Sommers 2005) which pertain either to individuals or corporations. There is insurance to cover damage to rental cars, umbrella insurance to cover any injury to a guest at one’s home, insurance bought by corporations to cover potential corporate responsibility for actions of company representatives and insurance including misadventures with financial information and morally hazardous behavior as well as corporate required actions which are later deemed to be wrong or inappropriate. Employees need to find out if the employee manual provides for coverage for legal liabilities resulting out of performing job responsibilities. Due to a need to reduce company costs, many companies are reducing or eliminating coverage for employees for many types of actions. Private personal liability insurance gives you the peace of mind to know what you are covered for and for how long. Employee rights versus corporate budgets are at the core of this discussion.
