关于《来自高世强的故事三则》展览的访谈

2009年10月1日,《来自高世强的故事三则》在马德里的玛吉画廊开展,此次展览展出了高世强的三部作品《十八相送》、《晕氧》和《革命》,展览受到了极大的关注。本刊特别邀请了西班牙策展人,伊比利亚当代艺术中心国际项目负责人思朋针对此次展览对艺术家进行了访问,访问由蔡珂担任现场翻译。

Debating the Politics of Land Occupations

This essay reviews a provocative but flawed volume of case studies of land occupations in Africa, Asia and Latin America and critically examines the arguments advanced by Moyo and Yeros in their introduction and co-authored chapter on Zimbabwe. The editors' core proposition is that the agrarian and national questions are linked in the periphery of capitalism because industrial transformation is incomplete, 'disarticulated' forms of accumulation predominate and dependent states are unable to exercise true sovereignty. The chief agent of struggles for agrarian reform, and the social base of rural social movements that occupy land as a key tactic, is identified as 'the semiproletariat'. The political characteristics of these movements are discussed in the introduction, three continent-wide overviews and several case studies. Most chapters tend not to support the editors' arguments, and sometimes contradict them. These arguments are in any case reductionist and over-schematic. The categories 'semi-proletariat' and 'peasantry' are often elided, and differences of conditions and trajectories are seldom acknowledged. A tendency to economism vitiates discussion of the politics of land. These problems are also in evidence in the chapter on Zimbabwe.     

Politics by Other Means: The Emergence of a New Politics of Food in the United States

A new politics of food has arrived. Interest groups are no longer required to rely on traditional legislative means to achieve their political objectives. Instead, changes in the political economy of the food system and the economic structure of the food system make it possible to practice politics by other means, including the use of the market to achieve political objectives. The increasing transaction costs of legislative decision making, the slow growth in the demand for food in developed country markets, the increasing demand for specific food product attributes, and the highly concentrated state of most food markets can make it advantageous for interest groups to pursue their political objectives through the market rather than through legislative channels. In the new politics of food, the market, the legislature, the bureaucracy, and the judiciary are all arenas within which the art of politics will be practiced.     

环流管道的选材和安装对稻谷储藏的影响

对粮仓仓外安装的不锈钢和PVC两种不同材质的环流管道,通过在高温季节对环流管道的温度、仓温、粮温等进行实仓对比试验。结果表明：仓外安装的PVC环流管道比安装的不锈钢环流管道对稻谷低温储粮更为有利,且安全、经济、有效、实用。

民主应该是政治资源配置的基本方式,这是由民主的本质决定的,也反映了政治资源配置的根本要求;民主在配置政治资源中,其具体的有效实现形式如程序、样式、操作方法的科学性也是很值得考究的,不然就会使民主大打折扣;民主作为政治资源配置的基本方式不是抽象的,其具体的诉求渠道和表达样式是多维的,这种多维性要受到市场公平性、民族、国度、政党、阶级、历史、文化的制约,还要受到国际环境及信息通道的影响。

Elections, Land and the Politics of Opposition in Matabeleland

In the run up to the elections of June 2000, President Robert Mugabe promised to deliver land to the people; he sought to rede?ne the rural areas as the moral heart of the nation, and used veterans from the liberation war to spear‐head occupations of largely white‐owned commercial farmland. ZANU‐PF's electoral campaign succeeded in large swathes of the countryside, but it was notably unsuccessful in Matabeleland. In rural (as well as urban) Matabeleland, ZANU‐PF experienced a massive, and largely unanticipated, electoral defeat. Here we explore the reasons behind rural Matabeleland's electoral results. Our discussion focuses on three districts of Matabeleland North (Nkayi, Lupane and Hwange), where we investigate the dynamics of particular land occupations, both major parties' electoral campaigns and local re?ections on the electoral outcome and the ongoing politics of land.We stress the importance of the legacies of ZAPU's nationalism, of post Independence state violence, of perceived economic neglect and the particular agrarian dynamics of this region.
