社会的变迁使我国社会结构和利益关系发生了巨大的变化,社会主体之间的关系型信任也有很大的改变。本文通过深入的实证研究,揭示了关系型信任的结构、来源以及对企业合作的影响。研究结果表明,关系型信任中的主动型信任是在被动型信任的基础上发展而来的,企业合作关系的建立主要依赖于主动型信任而非被动型信任。良好的声誉有利于建立被动型信任,有助于企业选择合作伙伴,企业间沟通和互惠对主动型信任有显著的积极影响,最终促进企业间的持续合作。本文的研究不仅丰富了关系型信任理论,也为企业在管理实践中建立和改进与合作伙伴之间的信任关系提供了有益的借鉴。  相似文献

基于对河南省某县47个村域的调查,实证检验了村域社会资本对新型农村社会养老保险参保率的影响。因子分析发现,村域社会资本分为村域信任、村域互惠、村域规范和村域互动四个因子。回归分析发现,村域信任和村域互动对参保率具有正效应,村域互惠没有通过显著性检验,村域规范对参保率的正效应缺乏稳定性。对解释新型农村社会养老保险参保率的差异提供了一个新的理论视角。  相似文献

Can a social norm of trust and reciprocity emerge among strangers? We investigate this question by examining behavior in an experiment where subjects repeatedly play a two-player binary “trust” game. Players are randomly and anonymously paired with one another in each period. The main questions addressed are whether a social norm of trust and reciprocity emerges under the most extreme information restriction (anonymous community-wide enforcement) or whether trust and reciprocity require additional, individual-specific information about a player’s past history of play and whether that information must be provided freely or at some cost. In the absence of such reputational information, we find that a social norm of trust and reciprocity is difficult to sustain. The provision of reputational information on past individual decisions significantly increases trust and reciprocity, with longer histories yielding the best outcomes. Importantly, we find that making reputational information available at a small cost may also lead to a significant improvement in trust and reciprocity, despite the fact that most subjects do not choose to purchase this information.  相似文献

Using an experimental trust game, I examine whether the perspectives and behavior of group representatives and consensus groups differ from those of the same individuals in an analogous inter-individual situation. A primary goal of this research is to extend past work on trust and reciprocity by examining the impact of the social contexts within which social interactions are characteristically embedded. Specifically, this research concerns whether norms and dynamics of trust and reciprocity differ in the contexts of inter-individual and inter-group interactions. First, I examine whether dynamics of trust and reciprocity differ in various inter-group interactions where inter-group decisions are operationalized as 1) autonomous group representatives, i.e., individuals who are given the responsibility of unilaterally making a decision on behalf of a three-person group engaging with a group representative of another such group; and 2) consensus groups, i.e., group members making a consensus trust or reciprocity decision for their groups via a collective process with another such group. Results of these studies show that 1) people trust less and reciprocate less when responsible for a group or organizational decision as autonomous group representatives; 2) consensus groups do not differ from individuals in their level of trust but show dramatically less reciprocity. The group consensus mechanism in fact produced by far the lowest reciprocity level, significantly lower than that exhibited by either individuals or autonomous group representatives. Thus, inter-group trust and reciprocity dynamics are not readily inferable from their inter-individual counterparts. Moreover, an important implication is emerging here: the extent and direction of the discrepancy between individual and group choices in regard to trust and reciprocity levels and possibly other social preferences in general may depend importantly on the precise details of the group decision-making mechanism, for example whether decisions are made consensually, by majority vote, or by a group leader or representative. In addition to examining the level of trust and reciprocity that occur in these various situations, I also studied, using both behavioral and questionnaire data, the roles of self-interest, social influence, and group dynamics in trust and reciprocity perceptions and behavior. The results showed that there exist discrepancies between behavioral forecasts and the actual behavior, and that trusting behavior is driven strongly by expectation of level of reciprocation, while reciprocating behavior is driven strongly by the difference between trust expectation and actual trust received.  相似文献

关于合作关系对合作创新的影响,现有研究大多局限于单一的社会网络视角,对网络层次的关系特征如何通过双边层次的关系质量影响技术创新模式的过程欠缺机理性认识。结合社会网络、社会资本和知识转移理论,分析网络联结强度、企业间信任以及技术创新模式三者间关系。利用327份来自全国多地的制造及高新技术企业数据,采用结构方程模型检验方法对研究假设进行检验。结果表明:相对于经济型信任,强联结会带来更多情感型信任;情感型信任更有利于渐进式创新,经济型信任更有利于突破式创新;联结强度对渐进式创新的作用是通过情感型信任传递的,而联结强度对突破式创新的作用是通过经济型信任传递的。  相似文献

The general idea of social capital is that relationships matter. In this sense, the trust, cooperation and reciprocity involved in these relationships can have a positive impact on the wealth of society by reducing transaction costs, facilitating collective actions, and lowering opportunistic behavior. This work sheds light on the different theoretical and empirical problems that a scholar is likely to face in dealing with social capital research and analysis. We propose a critical roadmap of the social capital theories and applications for a general audience, nonusers included, with particular attention to the works of political and social economists. We provide a critical debate on the different definitions and measures produced, the theoretical frameworks developed, and the empirical techniques adopted so far in the analysis of the impact of social capital on socio-economic outcomes. We turn to the limitations of these techniques and suggest some basic strategies to reduce the magnitude of these limitations.  相似文献

This paper suggests that personal trust is best understood as a discursively constructed social relation that arises when interaction between people is governed by the norm of reciprocity (according to which one good turn deserves another and that people should treat others as they themselves would like to be treated). It is argued that trust enables people to deal with their ignorance of the future and so act in a purposeful, goal-driven fashion even in the face of radical uncertainty. However, where there are imbalances of access to economic and cultural resources and to positions of authority, there may arise an imbalance of reciprocity, so that what appear to be relations of genuine trust may in fact be no more than a façade of trust that conceals a relationship of domination.  相似文献

This paper aims to understand how Internet users may improve their social capital by investing in online social activities. We argue that the Internet can be a convenient and efficient means of maintaining existing social ties and/or of creating new ties. We seek to identify the determinants of online investments in social capital and the nature of the interaction with traditional forms of investment in social capital. Using a Luxembourg household survey, the econometric results reveal a significant positive impact of volunteer activities and trust (two measures of social capital) on online investments to maintain social capital, but more ambiguous results are found between online investments and face-to-face contacts with friends. By contrast, online investments to create new ties are poorly related to the Internet users' existing social capital, but depend on the opportunity cost of time.  相似文献

The implications of the division of labor, capital, and technology for economic growth have long been a fundamental issue in development economics. This paper employs the bounds testing approach to cointegration to examine the relationship between the division of labor, capital accumulation, communication technology, and economic growth for China over the period 1952–99. We find that in the long run, capital stock and the division of labor both have statistically significant positive effects on growth, while in the short run the effects are not significantly positive. Telecommunication technology, rather surprisingly, has a statistically insignificant impact on growth both in the long run and in the short run. Our findings indicate that there exists a long run equilibrium relationship between capital and the division of labor on the one hand, and economic growth on the other, thereby lending support to the division of labor theory of growth.  相似文献

Effectively encouraging employees to share valuable knowledge can increase and sustain a firm's competitive advantages. This study adopted an integrated approach to understand casual relationships among knowledge sharing (KS) enablers (social capital factors), mechanism of forming KS behaviours (knowledge collecting and knowledge donating) through individuals’ KS intention, and KS outcome (innovation capability) within research and development teams. The research model was developed by reviewing literature and tested with survey data collected from 230 employees in multiple companies in Iran. Results of partial least squares analysis indicated that social interaction ties (as a structural capital factor), trust, reciprocity, and team identification (as relational capital factors) significantly associated with KS intention. KS intention, in turn, was significantly related to KS behaviours (knowledge colleting and knowledge donating). In addition, findings revealed that members’ willingness to collect and donate knowledge can affect team innovation capability. This study also discusses the implications for fostering social capital and KS behaviours to enhance team innovation capability.  相似文献

企业是中国慈善事业的主体。以往的研究多从经济学视角探寻企业能力对企业捐赠行为的影响,忽视非经济因素影响。本研究在企业能力基础上,加入社会网络、民间聚集及信任等衡量企业社会资本的指标,考察企业能力与企业社会资本对企业捐赠行为的影响。研究发现,企业能力对企业捐赠行为影响是存在的,同时企业社会网络规模、企业与经济部门的网络密度、企业民间聚集程度、企业对经济部门及非盈利部门的信任水平等都影响企业捐赠行为。企业能力是捐赠行为的基础,社会资本是捐赠行为的催化剂。  相似文献

社会资本是以信任、互惠和社会规范为基础的人际关系及关系网络,封闭性的社会结构是社会资本发挥作用的条件,也是社会资本产生消极功能的根本原因。本文通过在农村资金互助组织的生发基础研究中引入农村社会资本,对组织所处的农村社会网络、规范和信任进行分析,发现农村社会结构的相对封闭性在组织设立初期起到积极作用,但它制约组织的长远发展和成员的创新活动。  相似文献

Economic complexity reflects a country’s production capabilities and plays an important role in economic growth. This article measures the economic complexity of 210 countries using the method of reflections, and investigates the impact of economic complexity and human capital on economic growth. The measurement results show that there are significant differences regarding the level of complexity among countries. High-income economies have higher complexity than low- and middle-income economies. The empirical findings demonstrate that economic complexity and different levels of human capital have positive effects on long- and short-term growth. A positive interaction effect on economic growth exists between economic complexity and human capital. In addition, secondary education as a proxy for human capital has a relatively greater positive direct effect and a much stronger interactive effect with complexity on economic growth. In addition, the magnitude of the interaction effect between economic complexity and human capital on long- and short-term growth increases as the revealed comparative advantage threshold grows.  相似文献

This paper presents evidence that autocratic culture adversely affects social trust and political participation. We find that individuals whose ancestors migrated from countries with higher autocracy levels are less likely to trust others and to vote in presidential elections in the U.S. The impact of autocratic culture on trust can last for at least three generations while the impact on voting disappears after one generation. These impacts on trust and voting are also significant across Europe. We further access the robustness of our findings concerning selection into migration and other confounders such as home countries’ economic conditions, human capital stocks, and the strength of family ties.  相似文献

Many previous empirical studies have suggested that cooperation and trust affect economic growth. However, the precise relationship between trust and cooperation (i.e. whether trust leads to cooperation or cooperation leads to trust) remains unclear and it is not known how the level of economic development affects the level of cooperation and trust. Using a combination of public goods, gambling game and trust game experiments, we investigate the links among cooperation, trust and economic development in four regions of China. Our results suggest that, first, there is a U‐shaped or V‐shaped relationship between cooperation and economic development. Second, on the one hand, cooperation leads to trust, and on the other hand, more cooperative behaviour may be created by rewarding trusting behaviour. Third, men are more cooperative and trusting than women. Furthermore, we find that the widely used ‘GSS trust’ question from the General Social Survey (GSS) does not predict either cooperation or trust, whereas the questions ‘GSS fair’ and ‘GSS help’ have weak predictive power for trusting behaviour but not for cooperative behaviour.  相似文献

以孵化网络为背景,研究在孵企业如何在网络资源共享环境下有效获取资源,并通过网络化嵌入积累关系社会资本,提升创新绩效。构建了资源获取、关系社会资本与创新绩效关系的理论模型,以天津市206家在孵企业为样本,采用回归分析和结构方程模型对理论假设进行检验。结果表明:在孵企业资源获取对创新效果和创新效率具有显著正向影响;在孵企业资源获取对关系社会资本的信任和承诺维度具有显著正向影响;在孵企业关系社会资本中信任对创新绩效具有显著正向影响,承诺对创新绩效无显著影响;关系社会资本在资源获取和创新绩效间起部分中介作用。  相似文献

In this paper we examine linkages between social trust and economic development using, for the first time, a panel of data. We confirm earlier cross-sectional studies finding that trust is a significant factor in development and also show for the first time that trust significantly interacts with both investment in physical and human capital. We provide a robustness analysis of our results via a set of jackknife experiments on our main equations, and the trust coefficients and interactions are very tightly distributed, indicating that the results are not highly sample dependent. We also consider whether trust directly influences investment and find that in a panel framework it does not unless we allow for a trust–education interaction in the investment equation.  相似文献

创业风险是创业者不得不面对而且必须解决的一个关键问题。本文在总结当前关于创业风险分类的研究成果基础上,按照创业要素风险分类体系,分别研究了社会资本对机会风险、资源风险、主体风险、环境风险与行为风险的影响。通过对社会资本在各种创业风险中影响作用的分析,本文得到以下结论:社会资本的规范、信任与网络都能从各自角度弱化创业活动中的机会风险、环境风险与行为风险产生的不利影响;而创业活动中的资源风险与主体风险的调节,则主要通过社会资本中的网络来完成。  相似文献
