本文运用实证研究方法研究了自我概念-品牌个性一致性、涉入程度对品牌偏好的影响。结果表明:(1)消费者的自我概念与品牌个性一致性对其品牌偏好有正向影响;(2)消费者的涉入程度对其品牌偏好也有正向影响;(3)消费者的自我概念-品牌个性一致性和涉入程度存在交互作用,对品牌偏好的联合影响力大于任何单一因素;(4)消费者涉入程度对其品牌偏好的影响大于自我概念-品牌个性一致性对品牌偏好的影响。  相似文献

本文研究了自我差异对自我概念一致性与品牌偏好关系的调节作用。结果表明,当消费者感知到高水平的自我差异时,理想的自我概念一致性(相比现实的自我概念一致性)对品牌偏好的影响更大;而当消费者感知到低水平的自我差异时,现实的自我概念一致性(相比理想的自我概念一致性)对品牌偏好的影响更大。因此,企业不仅要深刻认识到消费者自我概念在品牌个性塑造中的重要性,而且必须将自我概念一致性与自我差异相结合,针对消费者不同自我差异水平进行品牌个性的细化塑造。  相似文献

品牌个性对于品牌塑造和管理具有重要意义,然而文化的差异会造成品牌个性维度或其表现的不同,西方关于品牌个性的研究结果不宜简单照搬到中国市场中来。而在中国市场环境下,品牌个性的研究到底呈现了哪些特殊之处,这方面的研究和总结尚十分缺乏。本文通过分析总结一系列中国背景的相关的实证研究,发现中国消费者对品牌个性的认知不够细致,因而西方的品牌个性量表在中国市场缺乏普适性;同时对实证研究的横向分析发现,产品类别对品牌个性的维度也有很大影响;此外,除了高价值和象征意义强的产品,一些日常消费品也在中国市场呈现出一定的品牌集中度;"自我概念一致性"理论有很强的普适性,并且这种一致性可以扩展到生活方式、自我个性等范畴。  相似文献

本文以大白兔奶糖为例,通过实证方法研究中国老字号品牌关系质量与消费者购买意愿之间的关系。结果表明,中国老字号品牌在社会价值表达、信任、真有与应有之情这几个维度的得分较高,而在社会价值表达、承诺和自我概念联结这几个维度的得分相对较低。该研究还表明,中国老字号品牌关系质量对消费者的购买意愿具有显著影响作用,品牌关系质量越高,消费者的购买意愿越强。最后,本文还对该研究的实践意义进行了探讨。  相似文献

文章从消费者行为视角切入,运用结构方程的定量研究方法,通过"消费者—品牌"关系分析了利益相关者(居民、潜在迁入者、旅游者、投资者等)城市品牌依恋对其城市品牌忠诚的影响机理。实证结果表明,城市品牌个性、城市品牌享乐主义价值、怀旧情感、城市品牌涉入度对利益相关者城市品牌依恋的形成具有直接影响;利益相关者对城市品牌的依恋通过消费者—品牌关系(信任、满意、承诺维度)对其城市品牌忠诚产生显著影响。  相似文献

互联网背景下,在线品牌社群在连接品牌和消费者中起着重要作用,因此,有必要研究在线品牌社群如何影响消费者与品牌的关系。基于自我知觉理论和承诺一致性原则的理论视角,以问卷调查方法收集数据,探讨在线品牌社群投入是否会通过反作用促进消费者品牌投入进而提升品牌忠诚。通过实证研究,得出以下结论:(1)在线品牌社群投入对品牌忠诚没有显著的直接作用;(2)但是除消费者品牌投入的认知维度外,在其他两个维度(情感投入和行为投入)的中介作用下,在线品牌社群投入对品牌忠诚有显著作用;(3)在线品牌社群投入对消费者品牌投入具有显著的积极影响,验证了自我知觉理论和承诺一致性原则在在线品牌社群情境下的适用性。研究结论深化了在线品牌社群投入对品牌忠诚影响的研究。  相似文献

基于FCB Grid模型视角,运用实证分析的方法研究品牌个性与消费者真实自我对品牌态度的影响。研究发现,高涉入度/认知型和高涉入度/情感型品牌的品牌个性与真实自我概念一致的群体比不一致的群体具有更高的品牌态度,在此类品牌的塑造上考虑注入品牌个性的五个维度中的"智"和"雅"的个性特征,低涉入度/认知品牌未显示出显著的品牌个性,低涉入度/情感型品牌的一致群体与不一致群体均显示出显著的品牌个性。  相似文献

本文认为,品牌形象影响并决定着人们的购买和消费行为,独特的品牌形象可以帮助企业确立品牌定位,阻止品牌竞争,改善品牌的市场表现。品牌形象由品牌表现、品牌个性、公司形象三个维度构成,三者不存在层级关系。其中,品牌表现是影响消费者行为倾向的主要因素;品牌个性影响消费者行为倾向,但影响程度较弱;公司形象通过品牌表现和品牌个性间接影响消费者行为倾向,对消费者行为倾向无显著影响。文章提出,企业可以通过三种品牌形象进行品牌定位,即品牌功能属性定位、品牌个性定位、公司形象定位,品牌形象管理即企业进行品牌定位的过程。对于中国企业来讲,品牌个性和公司形象的定位更值得关注。开发独特的品牌形象,建立吸引人的差异化的品牌形象的品牌战略,加强企业品牌形象的推广,是提高顾客忠诚度的根本途径。  相似文献

基于品牌全球化背景,文章探究了品牌与国家联结核心构念的两个维度对消费者购买意愿的影响机制。实证结果表明,从国家联想到品牌的维度显著影响消费者购买意愿,并显著影响品牌能力,同时品牌能力在该维度对购买意愿的影响路径中起到部分中介作用:从品牌联想到国家的维度显著影响品牌温暖,并通过品牌温暖的完全中介作用对购买意愿产生促进效应。另外,品牌典型性正向调节了从国家联想到品牌的维度对品牌能力的影响路径。上述发现在理论上洞察了品牌刻板印象内容的两个维度如何受到品牌与国家联结的影响,厘清了品牌与国家联结以及品牌刻板印象如何作用于消费者购买意愿。在实践上为中国提升国家品牌形象,中国品牌推进全球化战略提供策略参考。  相似文献

Given the potential utility of brand personality for marketers, the present research conceptualizes and investigates the relationships between five brand personality dimensions and brand trust as well as brand affect. This research proposes that some brand personality dimensions relate more to brand trust, whereas other dimensions relate more to brand affect. The results suggest that Sincerity and Ruggedness brand personality dimensions are more likely to influence the level of brand trust than brand affect, whereas the Excitement and Sophistication dimensions relate more to brand affect than to brand trust. The Competence dimension appears to have similar effects on both brand trust and brand affect. The research findings are consistent with marketing and consumer researchers' assertions that brand personality can increase levels of brand trust and evoke brand affect, which in turn builds the level of brand loyalty. This research examines how store-evoked affect, human personality, and brand personality influence consumers' emotional attachments to brands. A field study (in wine tasting rooms) demonstrates that satisfaction mediates the effects of store-evoked pleasure and arousal on brand attachments, which further affects brand loyalty and willingness to pay a price premium. Attachment is consistently stronger in positive affective environments (i.e., when pleasure, arousal, and satisfaction are high) and when the brand possesses positive dimensions of brand personality. These effects are stronger for consumers scoring high (rather than low) on extraversion, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness and weaker for individuals scoring high on neuroticism. A follow-up experiment (in juice bars) supports the findings of the field study and provides further insight into the three-way interaction between store-evoked affect, brand personality, and consumer personality.  相似文献

Private label brands (PLBs) are an important facet of the retail offering within the supermarket sector. Although research has focused on the risk factors of private label purchasing, there has been little research that explores the brand management of private labels including the development of a brand personality. In this study, we investigate how the Aaker brand personality scale applies to a PLB available in two different retail chains and examine its effect on customer attitudes towards private label quality. A factor analysis of these brand personality measurement items shows that five dimensions, confidence (a new dimension), sincerity, ruggedness, excitement and competence are relevant for PLBs. Although much of the original Aaker scale was included in the analysis, one factor, sophistication, was not evident. A regression analysis shows that all private label personality dimensions influenced the private label quality measure with the confidence and sincerity dimensions having the greatest impact.  相似文献

Consumers expect organizations to behave in a responsible fashion and want to be informed about those actions. The current research examines the extent to which consumers are willing to reward brands for their socially responsible behavior. Two studies are reported in which social responsibility (SR) was conceptualized as a unique dimension of brand personality. Participants in both studies were presented advertisements in which the personality dimensions of ruggedness, excitement, and SR for a fictitious brand were manipulated. The results indicate that SR is a distinct brand personality dimension and that willingness to reward moderates the effect of SR on attitudes toward the product, advertisement, and brand. Specifically, in all but one case across both studies, the positive effect of SR on attitude was greater for those most willing to reward. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

This research provides a framework to achieve two objectives. First, it helps us to understand the implications of congruency of information, motivation, and perceived prestige orientation as antecedents to brand personality fit. Second, it examines the mediating role of brand image fit between brand personality fit and dilution of brand affect. The above is explained by using elaboration theory, conceptual coherence theory, and goal‐derived categorization theory. The results of the implication of elaboration theory on brand personality fit were mixed. While congruency of personality dimensions between parent and extension brands has bearings towards brand personality fit, the motivation of processing information did not. In contrast to brand image fit, this study showed that the prestige orientation of a brand did not influence brand personality fit. The subsequent mediation analysis demonstrated that brand personality fit is positively related to brand image fit, but neither of these two variables has any influence on dilution of brand affect. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

公司品牌形象是影响消费者信任的重要前因变量,但现有研究并未揭示出公司形象的不同维度对消费者信任影响的差异性以及公司形象通过信任进而影响购买意向的机制和过程。文章将消费者对品牌的信任划分为可信性和善意,探讨了公司形象的能力和社会责任两个重要维度通过信任对购买意向的影响机制。研究发现,公司能力和企业社会责任都能通过可信性和善意影响消费者对产品的购买意向;除间接影响外,公司能力可以直接影响消费者购买意向,但企业社会责任对购买意向没有直接影响;公司能力偏重于影响信任的可信性,企业社会责任偏重于影响信任的善意。  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between ‘brand personality’ and key outcomes in the Chinese automobile industry. A secondary aim of the study is to look at whether or not these relationships hold across purchasers and non-purchasers. The major conclusion is that while brand personality dimensions are somewhat consistent across both purchasers and non-purchasers, the brand personality outcomes differ somewhat between the groups. First, brand personality plays a critical role in improving perceived quality and creating brand trust, a key finding given the intensely competitive nature of the Chinese automobile industry. Second, perceived quality plays an important role in mediating the relationship between brand personality and brand commitment for both groups. Third, perceived quality does not affect brand trust for the purchaser group. In the context of Chinese automobile industry, increasing the level of perceived quality of a particular brand requires convincing non-purchasers that the brand is valuable, and that the information being provided is useful. Fourth, since the relationship between perceived quality and brand trust was found to be non-significant, future research studies may wish to focus on obtaining a better understanding of Chinese cultural perspectives to shed further light on why perceived quality and brand trust are not related for the automobile purchaser group.  相似文献
