为了探寻零售业态变迁的原因,本文考察了南京市消费者购买盐水鸭时的业态选择行为,并利用Logistic回归模型结合描述性统计分析的方法分析了影响消费者业态选择(传统业态店还是现代业态店)行为的主要因素。研究表明:人们购买盐水鸭进行业态选择时的行为不仅与消费者的个体特征等一般因素(如性别、籍贯和受教育程度等)有关,而且还受到消费观念和习惯以及生活方式等重要因素的影响,所以就南京市盐水鸭市场来说,现代业态难以取代传统业态,两种业态将长期保持共存的格局。  相似文献

本文在文献梳理的基础上建立了基于商业集聚和消费者需求的零售业态谱序,其中消费者需求层次作为消费者需求角度的代表指标,聚客力作为商业集聚的代表指标,并对零售业态的消费者需求层次和聚客力的度量方法进行了阐述。同时,通过对零售业态谱序的理论和实践价值的分析,清晰地明确了零售业态的位置及不同零售业态的差别距离;通过对零售业态差别基础上的零售业态关系进行讨论,比较了不同零售业态关系的商业集聚效应。零售业态谱序理论可以为以购物中心为代表的业态组合的商业规划进行理论指导。  相似文献

零售业态的变革既反映一个国家的经济发展、市场情况,又在很大程度上受消费者需求等因素的制约.本文在阐述国内零售业态演进路径的基础上,对业态更迭进行了一般性解释,并以真空地带理论为基础,从消费者主体意识角度对国内零售业态变迁提出了新的阐释,认为主体意识论较好地刻画了消费者偏好曲线,描绘出了国内零售业态的变迁路径.  相似文献

随着经济社会的发展,零售业态不断演进。本文从消费成本的视角解释零售业态演进。消费成本是消费者为获得商品所付出的代价。理性的消费者追求净效用最大化,多数情况是在效用既定条件下追求消费成本最小化。对从百货商店到超市、从超市到便利店、从有店铺零售业态到无店铺零售业态的演进实证分析表明,消费者追求消费成本最小化是零售业态演进的内在动力。  相似文献

作为与消费者紧密相连的零售业,收集,分析有关消费者的数据,掌握消费者动态极为重要。随着科技进步,便利店等零售业通过POS系统可以及时掌握消费者的购买情况。但是,通过POS系统只能掌握消费者实时购买情况以及单一店铺的数据。很难全面了解消费者的购买行为,行动模式以及评价等包含主观因素的内容。我国消费者的购买行为受社会文化,生活方式的影响,有独特的表现。例如,在经济,生活水平发展相对较快的大城市的消费者利用传统的零售业态的同时,也利用现代业态,如便利店。中国城市的消费者的生活方式向西洋化变化的同时,也保持着传统模式的习惯和购买行动。本论文利用2011年7月,SearChina进行的「有关便利店的消费,行为模式,评价」的调查数据,通过对日资便利店和国内资本便利店的评价的统计分析,阐明有关中国城市便利店的消费者行为特点。  相似文献

Shopping on social media (SM) is more popular now than ever. SM enables interactive communication among users and provides great opportunities for marketers and advertisers to reach out to consumers. While SM has potential as a marketing platform, not much is known whether consumers perceive benefits of SM as a shopping platform and how such perceived benefits can drive their shopping activity on SM. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between consumers’ multi-dimensional perceived SM benefits, their commitment to SM, the actual usage of SM for shopping purposes, and their willingness to spread positive comments about their shopping experience on SM. Results of an online survey (N = 325) successfully confirmed the proposed model: consumers perceive functional, experiential, and/or symbolic benefits from using SM, show calculative, affective, and/or normative commitments, use SM for shopping purposes, and engage in generating positive electronic word-of-mouth. This research contributes to the literature by revisiting SM as an emerging shopping platform and empirically validating the conceptual model that lays out the motivational processes underlying shopping via SM.  相似文献

Social media (SM) platforms are frequently used by pre-teen (8–12-year old) consumers for curating their self-identity, developing social relationships and for learning. This paper identifies the building blocks that drive pre-teen SM engagement. We use the Gioia method to analyse interview data collected from 32 pre-teens and parents, in France. Findings show that the primary building blocks are FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) and social inclusive experience, being noticed online, multiplicity, excessive use (without guidelines) and self-regulation. Identity constructs (self-identity and social-identity) are used to explain SM engagement – and to empirically define core conceptual building blocks (aggregate dimensions) that drive SM engagement. We contribute to consumer theory by developing a holistic research framework to examine pre-teen SM engagement. Self-identity and social-identity theories help explain the factors that drive pre-teen SM engagement and explain push/pull influences of parents and schools in encouraging or discouraging certain behaviour. We build on current research into SM usage, drawing from the fragmented existing literature, to reveal causes of both excessive screen-time and SM usage among pre-teen consumers, which may indicate antecedents of future adult behaviour. Practical and regulatory policy issues are considered and addressed.  相似文献

With the surge in social media (SM) users around the world, the scope of social commerce (SC) in brand engagement is a prominent area of discussion. The present study empirically investigates the effect of social commerce construct (SCC), multi-dimensional constructs of social presence theory (SPT) and consumer generated content (CGC) on brand trust and brand engagement in SC platforms. An online survey was conducted among 625 Indian consumers who had made more than one purchase using SC platforms in the previous 6 months. Structural equation modelling technique was employed for testing the hypotheses and conceptual model. The results suggest that each element of SCC, SPT and CGC positively contributes to brand trust and engagement. Further, the study provides insight into brand trust and brand engagement in SM, which prompts brand usage intention of the consumers. The insights can be used by managers to create long-term customer relationship management action plans that emphasize brand trust and engagement.  相似文献

Threats loom for the global food supply. Food companies are taking action, yet consumer awareness lags. A sustainability materiality (SM) index was created that asked young millennials if issues related to a food company’s environmental footprint, ethical governance, community engagement, and nutrition-related actions influenced their product purchasing decisions. In comparison to their peers, those who held new ecological paradigm-related values were more likely to report that the SM index issues influenced their purchasing decisions. They offered more green word-of-mouth (WOM) recommendations to their friends. Regardless of their environmental orientation, those who purchase products consistent with the SM index are more likely to provide green WOM recommendations. Purchasing products consistent with SM index issues mediated the relationship between proenvironmental orientation and green WOM recommendations. Perceived personal ability was unrelated to green WOM recommendations. Educating and enlisting young consumers to offer green WOM recommendations will increasingly become a strategic business concern.  相似文献

随着信息环境、技术环境以及商业环境的变化,"新零售"在生鲜零售、连锁服务、快消餐饮等领域迅速发展,以创新模式满足消费者特定时空的消费期望,是零售业转型升级的重要表现。场景化要素在零售业嵌入程度的不足,导致零售业同质化现象严重,消费者体验未得到明显改善。为了使零售业能符合当前环境,提高消费者体验的愉悦度,应以零售商主导的供应链逆向整合为创新点,通过综合运用场景化要素的融合功效,依据由消费者、零售企业和供应商为核心要素的供应链创新机理,遵循全面性、分节点和成体系的原则,从消费者的消费需求、消费习惯和消费偏好出发对商业情境进行多维度、立体化的配置,强化零售商的自主经营能力,促进消费者消费体验的良性循环,提高消费者与场景的黏性,提高其持续购买的意愿,形成"新零售"供应链创新路径。  相似文献

This article investigates the level of the tour operators' responsiveness to its consumers. The issue is considered in relation to National Consumer Council criteria. The deduction is that while most consumers may be satisfied by the products received at present, changes in consumer preferences have been largely ignored due to the degree of industry in-fighting and competitive activity. It is suggested that if unchecked, this process will lead to decreased product quality and overall responsiveness to consumers. Over a more long-term period it is expected that the industry will stabilise both in terms of responsiveness and in the numbers and size of operators and that this structure will be more beneficial to consumers than that existing at present.  相似文献

This article assesses the possibilities of using consumer innovation in the electricity sector, which is slow‐moving, yet faced with huge challenges and opportunities to become “smart” and “low carbon.” We study the benefits of engaging innovative consumers (“lead users”) in product, service, and business innovation in terms of (a) the capacity of lead user‐consumers to innovate in the highly regulated electricity market, (b) the attractiveness of such lead‐user generated ideas for mainstream consumers, (c) the usefulness of lead‐user engagement for companies in the energy industry, and (d) the usefulness of lead user engagement for the necessary broader societal transition processes. We conclude that consumers can stimulate industry‐wide innovation even in challenging contexts like “smart” and “low‐carbon” solutions and the highly regulated energy industry. Lead user‐consumers can also articulate societal and social responsibility concerns that are relevant for the entire market.  相似文献

We design an asymmetric duopoly model with inherited market dominance such that the dominant firm and the smaller firm can price discriminate based on consumers’ purchase history. We show that uniform pricing softens competition leading to higher industry profits than under history-based pricing. Consumers benefit from history-based price discrimination unless the switching cost is sufficiently high and the inherited degree of dominance is sufficiently weak. A ban on history-based pricing would typically introduce a distributional conflict between consumers and producers. Finally, we establish that the gains to industry profits associated with uniform pricing exceed the associated losses to consumers.  相似文献

With over 50 million Hispanics living in the United States commanding 1.2 trillion dollars in purchasing power, Hispanic wine consumers may comprise a lucrative market for the saturated wine industry. Yet the wine industry has largely ignored consumers who do not fit the profile of its traditional demographic base. This study aims to fill a gap in the existing body of knowledge on Hispanic consumers of wine. Building on acculturation theory, the current study investigates predominant attitudes, opinions, and interests of the Hispanic consumer relating to wine consumption. The results of three focus groups indicate that the core cultural values of family, food, and social interaction are critical factors in developing an interest in wine among Hispanic wine consumers. Levels of acculturation also play a significant role in wine consumption among Hispanic consumers. Special attention should be addressed to younger, more acculturated consumers, as they are not only the primary consumers of wine but also advocates for wine for their parents and other groups of consumers.  相似文献

The textile and clothing industry is considered as one of the most polluting industries in the world. Still, the regulation of environmental hazards connected to the industry is very limited, and much responsibility is placed on the shoulders of consumers. One of the few ways that ordinary consumers can seek to influence the textile and clothing industry is through their own consumption practices and their wallet. This article departs from the discourse on sustainable consumption and the role of the consumer as an agent for change, and the article investigates the characteristics of the consumers who practice deliberate environmentally sustainable consumption of textiles and clothing. This is done through the lens of political consumption. Based on a cross-national survey conducted in five Western European countries, factors that have been found to predict general political consumption in previous research are tested on the field of textiles and clothing. The findings demonstrate both similarities and some discrepancies with previous studies of political consumption as well as significant country variations.  相似文献
