入境旅游客源市场的快速发展是我国入境旅游业发展的重要源泉。本文以来华外国旅游流作为分析对象,运用地理集中指数、客源市场竞争态模型等分析方法,定量研究了2001—2011年我国入境旅游客源市场的特征。结果表明:我国入境旅游核心客源市场分别是韩国、日本、俄罗斯、美国。其中,日俄美三国市场占有率总体呈现下降趋势;韩日美三国市场增长率总体也呈现下降趋势;2002—2011年我国入境旅游客源市场竞争格局处于不断变化中,且变化较大;我国入境旅游客源市场在空间上主要集中在幼童市场和瘦狗市场,而在明星市场和金牛市场的分布则较少。  相似文献

利用偏离-份额法,以"结构红利假说"的角度分析了广西各市旅游业的产业结构生产率增长效应,以解释各市旅游业发展的动力来源和影响。研究表明,旅游业的产业结构变迁对广西各市的劳动生产率均有积极作用,主要通过内部增长效应体现。对大多数城市结构变迁有利于旅游业劳动生产率的提升,但是另一部分城市出现了"结构负利"的情况。  相似文献

“荷兰病”是一个经济学领域的概念,指一国或地区某一产业部门异常繁荣,而其它产业发展相对滞后的现象。作为一种常见的经济结构病症,“荷兰病”在旅游发展过程中客观存在,是旅游负面经济影响的重要组成部分之一。通过系统梳理旅游地“荷兰病”效应的理论渊源和相关研究,初步提出了其内涵界定,即旅游产业异常繁荣,其它产业发展相对滞后,国民经济发展高度依赖旅游业的现象及其负面影响,以期为旅游负面经济研究提供一个全新的视角。  相似文献

This study tests the pecking order hypothesis on data of 224 firms in the UK over the period 1993–96 inclusive. Evidence observed supports the prediction of the hypothesis that there is a negative interaction between the long term value of dividend payout ratio and investment. The evidence also indicates that financial leverage has a positive interaction with dividend payout ratio but no significant interaction with investment. While investment has a significant positive influence on financial leverage, financial leverage does not have a significant influence on investment. It is also observed that irrecoverable advance corporation tax (ACT) has a positive, albeit weak, influence on dividend payout ratio and that overseas profit has a negative influence on the ratio. The results of the study agree with the previous evidence with regard to the influence of dividend payout ratio on investment and financial leverage, and the influence of investment on financial leverage. However, the results contradict the previous evidence reported by Baskin (1989) and Allen (1993) about the influence of financial leverage on investment. While the previous studies observed that financial leverage has a positive influence on investment, this study finds that financial leverage does not have a significant influence on investment. The main contributions of the study are that (1) it provides some evidence that there is a negative interaction between dividend payout ratio and investment and a positive interaction between dividend payout ratio and financial leverage, (2) it provides some evidence about the effects of overseas profit and irrecoverable ACT on dividend payout and (3) its results suggest that the recent abolition of the refund of ACT is justified on the ground that it may affect investment and growth in the UK.  相似文献

This study analyzes the link between international trade in tangible consumption goods and services, and intangible cultural goods using panel data of Korea’s exports to 40 countries of three types of consumer goods and TV content since the mid-2000s. The growing popularity of Korean TV dramas (the stand-in for the Korean wave or “Hallyu” phenomenon) has not been confined to the East Asian region with interest spreading much further afield. This study estimates a one-directional gravity model that uses various forms of consumer goods exports as well as inbound visitors to Korea as dependent variables and a set of explanatory variables plus the Korean broadcasting content exports using the Poisson pseudo-maximum likelihood procedure. From our analysis, we find the Hallyu exports to have a positive effect on consumer good exports and inbound visitor flows in general, but the strength of the influence seems to be weakest in the case of durable consumer good exports.  相似文献

The purpose is to analyze the influence of cost accounting change (CAC) on the financial performance of Finnish firms. Empirical data are based on a survey responded by 121 manufacturing firms. PLS is used to extract the influence of CAC on performance. The general expectation is that CAC should have a positive lagged effect of performance. However, prior empirical evidence is mixed and usually only a weak influence is found, if any. This study shows that CAC is closely associated with a simultaneous pricing system change (PSC). CAC and PSC are interrelated because product cost usually plays an important role in pricing. PLS shows that CAC has a weak positive lagged main effect on performance whereas PSC has a strong negative effect. The total effect of CAC is insignificant because the positive direct effect is offset by the negative mediation indirect effect through PSC. The result indicates that when assessing the influence of CAC on performance it is important also to take account of the corresponding indirect influence through PSC. The study also shows that perceived environmental uncertainty (PEU) has a strong negative moderating effect on the influence of PSC on performance. Thus, the influence of PSC on performance is more negative when PEU is high.  相似文献

One of the impacts of globalisation has been the growth in tourism and mobility of capital. This paper examines the welfare effect of tourism on the host economy with imperfect competition. Three channels that affects domestic welfare by tourism are: social externalities accompanied with tourists, the terms of trade effect via rises in the non-tradable prices, and the resource movement effect to the manufacturing sector. Owing to the positive terms-of-trade effect and/or the beneficial resource movement effect, the optimal levels of tourism occur at the situations that tourists bring negative social externalities to the economy.  相似文献

With the increasing phenomena of cross-border acquisition (CBA) activities in emerging economies (EE), evidence about “distance” factors that make these economies attractive to home country firms is sparse. Given this background, we employ major locational advantage distance measures such as market, resource, and knowledge distances and examine their impact on the value and number of inbound CBAs in India. We source inbound CBA deal data from the Thomson Reuters Eikon database for the 1990–2020 period during which 47 home countries were making acquisitions of target firms in India. We develop relevant hypotheses based on a comprehensive literature review. We run tobit and negative binomial regression models on a final sample of 921 country-pair-year observations to test the hypotheses. The results show that increasing market and knowledge distances enhanced the value and number of India's inbound CBAs, fueled by the country's growth potential and knowledge base. However, we find no evidence of a role played by resource distance.  相似文献
