义乌“非转农”:一个农村户口价值超百万

<正>我不知道,风往哪边吹,徐志摩诗里的这种心绪,如今成了浙江省义乌市部分大学生以非农业户口换取农村户口的真实写照。今年10月,义乌市政府出台第94号文件,明确规定该市未就业大中专毕业生在满足4个条件的情况下,可把户口迁回农村:

一个评估企业价值的实用模型

包括股利现值模型和超常收益现值模型在内的企业价值模型都需要对离散的未来变量进行逐一预测，但目前所有的预测手段都只能作短期预测。而对包含大部分价值成分的无穷多的远期变量却无能为力。本文提出了“生成函数”的概念，在此基础上建立了生成函数现值模型，将离散的价值模型转化为连续的价值模型，将对离散未来变量的逐一估计转化为对生成函数的拟合。实证研究的结果表明，生成函数现值模型比现有模型具有更强的解释企业价值的能力。     

追问一个产业的价值

回眸之间,物业管理在中国内地已经走过30年。30年绝对是一个值得纪念的里程碑。2010年11月的某一天,我去复旦大学听讲座,顺道买了一本书《价值起源》。这本书让我忽然对物业管理行业作为一个产业的价值重新进行了思索。这本书的重点当然与物业管理没有关系,主要是讲改变世界的金融创新,透过金融市场和金融工具的兴起来梳理世界历史演进过程中关于“价值”认知的演变过程。

The million dollar donor journey: Stages of development for high‐net‐worth women donors

Most charitable giving research focuses on individual donors at a specific point in time and uses quantitative surveys with limited data about donors' experiences. This study uses reflective interviews to examine the life trajectories of a cohort of women donors who have made gifts of $1 million or more to causes that benefit women and girls. By drawing from developmental psychology, we illustrate the iterative process of learning about giving—shaped by life experiences—that comprise the journey to becoming a million‐dollar donor. We find that, in their journeys toward making their million‐dollar commitment, women donors followed a shared trajectory with distinct stages and prompts for progression. Our findings provide guidance for fundraising professionals to recognize the stages of a potential donor's readiness to give and to facilitate progression in the journey, thus increasing the potential for more large‐scale gift commitments in the future and deepening the donor–fundraiser relationship.     

The case for comparable worth

Traditional nondiscrimination efforts focus on women’s access to jobs and on equal pay for the same work. Comparable worth adds a third strategy-policies that ensure that jobs do not pay less because they are filled by women. I review evidence of this discrimination. I describe job evaluation, which can be used to correct it, while preserving a large role for market forces. U.S. workers have no protection from this type of discrimination. I consider arguments raised against comparable worth. The claim that antidiscrimination policies are unnecessary because discrimination is eroded by competitive forces fails to recognize the sluggishness of this response. The argument that barriers to entry are the real problem ignores evidence that cultural devaluation affects wage-setting even absent hiring discrimination. Arguments about undesirable side effects apply with equal force to most regulation. I conclude that comparable worth deserves support.

Value-added logistics: the answer to mass customization

Value added logistics: A new concept or just new terminology? If you read Today and Tomorrow you will notice that Henry Ford used postponed manufacturing to save on transportation costs: On one railway-wagon he could ship either three T-Fords or the parts for seven T-Fords. This is one of the reasons he build several assembly plants in the United States and in Europe (Dagenham, UK; Koln, Germany; and Amsterdam). Although this concept has existed for more than 70 years, I found out that it is still quite unknown. Thanks to information technology, it is becoming more powerful. This opens large possibilities for mass customization.
