WTO机制下绿色瓶颈对我国出口贸易的制约及其对策

2001年12月11日，我国以发展中国家身份加入WTO后，各种关税和传统非关税壁垒对我国出口产品对外贸易的影响越来越小，但随之而来的以绿色贸易壁垒为代表的技术性壁垒又使得我国的出口产品对外贸易面临“与狼共舞”的局面。在此形势下，认识并打破绿色贸易壁垒，寻求出口产品对外贸易的可持续发展，已成为我国政府和企业亟待解决的问题。     

An experimental analysis of the impact of a behaviour modification programme on salespersons' effort and performance behaviours

This study adapts a radical behaviourist ‐perspective in the study of the sales manager‐salesperson interaction, and analyses the impact of a behaviour modification programme on both the effort and performance behaviours of salespeople. To this end, a field experiment was conducted with the co‐operation of an industrial sales organization. Subjects were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups and a number of effort and performance indicators were measured via self‐report procedures. The treatment consisted of manipulations to the sales manager‐salesperson interaction in order to improve monitoring systems, introduce more structured feedback mechanisms, and make reinforcement more contingent upon actual behaviours. Results indicate that a number of effort indicator variables and performance outcomes showed significant increases for the experimental group relative to the control group.

Purchasing power parity: Doctrinal perspective and evidence from the 1920s

The first part of the paper traces the doctrinal origins of the purchasing power parity (PPP) doctrine and reviews the central issues of controversy. The second part is an empirical study covering the flexible exchange rates period of the 1920s. The empirical work examines the efficiency of foreign exchange markets, the absolute and the relative versions of PPP for alternative price indices, the homogeneity postulate, the relation between the short run and the long run, and the patterns of ‘causality’ between prices and exchange rates. The paper concludes with estimations of price equations and a discussion of the proper specification of PPP.     

Purchasing power parity and exchange rates: Another look at the evidence

This paper examines some of the evidence on the relationship between prices and exchange rates, looking at data from the 1920s and the 1970s. Simple regression tests lead us to reject the hypothesis of purchasing power parity. These tests are, however, inappropriate when, as is usually the case, neither prices nor the exchange rate may be taken as exogenous. Tests which recognize the endogeneity of both prices and exchange rates give results considerably more favorable to purchasing power parity.
