China＇s retail sales：9%↑during May holidy

China＇s retail sales climbed 9 percent from a year ago to about RMB 12 billion （US$1.76 billion） during the three-day May Day holiday, the Ministry of Commerce said.     

Fiscal revenue： 28.4% ↑inOctober

China＇s fiscal revenue for October reached RMB 684.49 billion （US$100 billion）, up 28.4 percent compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Finance announced on November 13.     

China＇s credit card debt continues to expand

Credit card debt at least six months overdue in China rose 126.5 percent year on year in the first three quarters of 2009 to RMB 7.43 billion （US$1.09 billion）, the People＇s Bank of China, the central bank, said on November 30.     

Retail sales： 17.9% ↑ in Q1

China＇s retail sales, the main gauge of consumer spending in the world＇s fastest-growing economy, rose 17.9 percent year on year to RMB 3.64 trillion （US$532.56 billion） in the first quarter this year, the National Bureau of Statistics （NBS） said on April 15.     

China＇s railway freight up0.3% in July

China＇s shipbuilding enterprises realized a total output value of RMB 300.6 billion （US$44 billion） in the first seven months of this year, Ministry of Industrial and Information Technology said on August 20.     

China＇s fixed asset investment：28.8%↑in Q1

China＇s fixed asset investment in the first quarter rose 28.8 percent year on year to RMB 2.81 trillion（US$411.4 billion）, the National Bureau of Statistics （NBS） announced on April 16.

The Aluminum Corporation of China （Chinalco）, the country＇s top mining company, said on September 27 it has signed an agreement to assume a major stake in the Jiangxi Rare Earth and Rare Metals Tungsten Group （JXTC） for RMB10 billion （US$1.5 billion）.

China＇s retail sales rose 15.8 percent year on year to RMB 1.13 trillion （US$166 billion） in November, the National Bureau of Statistics （NBS） announced on December 11.

China＇s retail sales in the first half year rose 15 percent to RMB 5.87 trillion （US$859.60 billion） from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics （NBS） said on July 16.

China＇s urban fixed-asset investment in the first four months rose 30.5 percent year on year to RMB 3.71 trillion （US$543.2 billion）, the National Bureau of Statistics announced on May 12.
