现有的网络服务质量(QoS)有两大模型:集成服务(Intserv)和区分服务(D iffserv)。这两种服务都是针对静态环境(固定主机和固定路由)设计的,对于移动通信网络都不能完全适用。本文结合集成服务和区分服务的优点,提出了一种新的双平面的三重QoS体系,并描述了这一体系对端到端QoS的实现。最后通过实例概述了QoS体系的整体流程,扩展了移动IPv6(M IPv6)信令中的绑定升级(BU)、绑定请求(BR)、绑定确认(BA)三个选项。  相似文献

RAN的全IP化是UMTS实现全IP架构过程的一部分。在RAN中,最重要的功能之一就是移动性管理。原有的基于ATM的移动性管理技术在全IP的RAN架构中并不适用。在分析全IP的RAN架构中对移动性管理的新的要求基础上,提出了结合MPLS技术和移动IP技术来解决移动性管理的新的开放的应用架构,并且描述了在这种应用架构下移动IP的协议过程;简要分析了这种应用架构带来的好处,提出还需要改进的地方和实现的技术难点。  相似文献

This paper analyzes investment alternatives for cellular operators who deploy either universal mobile telecommunications systems (UMTS) with high speed data packet access (HSDPA) networks or UMTS with Wi-Fi networks, for moving beyond 3G-networks. The evaluated business scenarios focus on two different deployment alternatives: UMTS with HSDPA and UMTS integrated with Wi-Fi. HSDPA deployment targets the overlay on the existing UMTS cells, whereas Wi-Fi covers only indoor hot spot areas where data demand is high. Capital investments and operational costs as well as revenue streams have been analyzed for the two types of network architectures. Techno-economic methodologies have been applied for this study and results are derived that are presented and discussed for two types of wireless networks.  相似文献

One of the main concerns of mobile operators towards deployment of Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) networks is the investment cost. The costly radio access network, based on the network equipment required in a service area, prevents incumbents and new entrants from upgrading or building a new UMTS network. In this article, a novel, low-cost approach to the UMTS radio access network design is proposed. The approach employs the use of pricing incentives. This approach is based on the assumption that a pricing mechanism is in place to control excessive traffic load during peak periods. By incorporating this assumption into the network design, the network designer is able to relax certain design parameters, which may contribute to significant savings in equipment cost. Investigation is focused on the UMTS coverage and capacity planning, using the Net Present Value (NPV) financial analysis. For certain price-sensitivity levels, the analysis indicates that this approach provides a suitable strategy for mobile operators to comfortably move forward with UMTS upgrade and gain competitive edge in the wireless market.  相似文献

Three business case scenarios in the context of emerging mobile access network technologies and business players have been studied and the economical results are presented. The aim is to cover some of the most interesting business alternatives in providing the new 3G and beyond services including cases where the operator may have an existing second-generation cellular network or not, and a license for the 3G UMTS network or not. The scenarios have been analyzed in different Western European country groups that are not exactly representative of any defined country, but rather share typical demographic characteristics. Investments and operational expenditures are identified and the results show how diverse business models and technologies lead to different revenue, cost, and profitability profiles. The business case scenarios include incumbent’s 3G evolution with UMTS compared to an alternative 3G technology deployment with mobile WiMAX, new entrant’s UMTS deployment business case, and a greenfield CDMA450 deployment business case.  相似文献

针对LTE业务QoS特征多样化且应考虑业务付费等级的问题,提出了一种改进的比例公平 调度算法。新算法引入不同业务的各QoS指标、付费等级作为参数,并根据各业务的具体QoS 需求在各参数的不同加权配置下切换。仿真结果表明,新算法不但可以极大提高付费业务 的各项QoS指标,还能让所有业务的QoS指标达到既定需求,更好地适应了LTE网络规划的要 求。  相似文献
