The paper examines the extent to which collaboration between large and small companies has been able to deal with the effects of discontinuous technological change. In applying an evolutionary perspective, the paper examines the process by which technological competencies and resources of large firms evolve and its effects on the characteristics of their collaboration with smaller companies. In focusing on the issue of complementary between local and international sourcing of capabilities and resources in the mobile telecommunication industry, it combines an empirical analysis of the structure of Finnish Science Parks with an examination of internationalisation strategies of large Finnish companies. The papershows that Nokia has increasingly become engaged in sourcing capabilities internationally, this might, however, pose some long-term problems for the local embeddedness of the company in Finland. 相似文献

本文先测度了2008年我国电信业重组后的赫芬达尔-霍希曼指数,认为我国电信市场格局为寡头垄断,而且市场集中度很高,然后运用数据包络分析法(DEA)分析了中国电信业的效率,并检验了资产收益率与效率之间的正相关关系.同时,将我国三个电信运营商的效率与国外电信企业进行了横向对比.通过全球对比,本文发现中国移动已经达到了最高效率,而中国电信和中国联通仍需扩大规模、提高技术效率. 相似文献

In 2008, the momentum of the outward investment of Chinese enterprises was strong. The amount of outward investment continued to grow rapidly, and has for the first .time exceeded USS50 billion, reaching USS55.91 billion. China's automobile industry has undergone decades of development and has formed a huge production capacity, with part of its pioneering enterprises having conducted a number of useful attempts in internationalization. The once-in-a-century financial crisis influenced various industries in every country. Nevertheless, China's auto enterprises are facing a rare opportunity in outward investing. Enterprises need to achieve their own technological upgrading with the "going global" strategy in order to maintain long-term stability and sustainable development. 相似文献
