This exploratory study generated a grounded theory of factors influencing children's diets, particularly those that contribute to suboptimal eating and ultimately child obesity. The study involved 124 children (aged 6–12 years) and 39 of their parents from three separate junior schools (including a lower, middle, and higher socioeconomic school). Research methods included (i) interviews with children and parents and (ii) observations, drawings, and lunchbox audits with children. The findings suggest that children and parents prioritize psychosocial needs over physiological needs during food selection and consumption. This tendency toward psychosocial eating appears to be strongly reinforced by food advertising.  相似文献

易得性直觉偏差是影响消费的重要因素,它通过影响消费者的主观风险认知来影响其消费行为。在易得性直觉偏差水平不断提高的前提下,我国消费者的主观风险认知变得日益敏锐,并由此降低了消费者的消费驱动力,促使其消费行为回归传统,在一定程度上影响了消费率的提高,不利于我国消费水平的提升。为改善这种状况,应尊重感知风险认知偏差的客观事实,改善民众的主观感受;从消费领域入手,提高消费者的消费信心;减少因经营者主观故意而引起的消费风险,增强经济惩罚的威慑力;顺应消费者感性化消费趋势,树立政府在产品安全管理工作方面的形象。  相似文献

This research focuses on the influence of clothing style identification on adolescents’ brand consumption behavior. The sample consisted of 1063 adolescents. The results indicated that the clothing brands adolescents prefer depend upon the clothing style with which they are identified. The role of media and music on Generation Y adolescents and on their clothing consumption was confirmed. Adolescents’ group identification and adolescents’ sensitivity to media and music vary according to their clothing styles. These data can be employed by firms to develop brands strategies.  相似文献

Exploring the simultaneous effects of key variables on the unhealthy consumption behavior of adolescents, two studies focused on the relative effects of advertising, parental and peer influence, and self-efficacy on adolescent tobacco use and alcohol consumption. The results suggest that (1) advertising effects are largely neutralized by parental and peer influence; (2) peer and parental influence strongly predict adolescent tobacco use and alcohol consumption; and (3) self-efficacy is a weak predictor of both adolescent risk behaviors.  相似文献

This paper reports upon an econometric investigation, using aggregate time series data, of the influence of prices, income and advertising upon the demand for alcoholic drink in the UK. The demand for alcoholic drink as a whole is studied initially, and then the analysis is disaggregated to the more detailed level of beer, spirits and wine, taken separately. Income appears to have a marked effect on the demand for these products, and price elasticities are in most cases low.

There is no evidence of a link between total advertising and the total consumption of all alcoholic drinks, spirits or wine. For beer, the evidence on the demand—advertising relationship is ambiguous but, for reasons discussed in the paper, there must be considerable doubt that beer advertising has had an expansionary effect on total beer consumption.  相似文献

The current study focuses on differences between high- and low-involvement consumers in terms of the bring-your-own-bottle of wine phenomenon, influence of consumption occasion(s), and how bring-your-own-bottle is used by consumers as purchase risk-reduction strategy. Results show that level of wine involvement determines the importance of bring-your-own-bottle of wine. The consumption situation in which bring-your-own-bottle of wine might occur is a main factor when buying wine. Bring-your-own-bottle of wine is largely the result of risk-reduction strategies where high-involvement wine consumers are more susceptible to perceived risk in the full-service casual restaurant sector and reduce this risk through bring-your-own-bottle.  相似文献

Abstract

Fruit beverage demand is related to prices, store size, shelf space allocation, and out-of-stock occurrences. A double log demand model is used to estimate the marginal impact of shelf space reallocation on fruit beverage sales. The estimated marginal impacts are compared with the per linear foot average revenue differences among five beverage groups. Results show that differences of average revenue are different from the marginal impacts estimated in this study. Hence, the average revenues are not good measures to be used as a guide for shelf space reallocation.  相似文献

随着人们生活水平的普遍提高,对生活方式的研究也成为流行病学、社会医学和社会学等领域的研究热点。目前国内对生活方式的内涵、类型和结构还未有统一的认识,但普遍认为生活方式是一个内涵丰富、结构复杂的概念,对其测量大多采用《生活方式量表》和《生活方式自评量表》。国外对生活方式的研究主要集中在特色人群的生活方式、肥胖与生活方式的关系、生活方式病的治疗和预防、生活质量等。国内主要关注学生体质及生活方式的影响、生活方式对成年人体质状况的影响、体育生活方式与体质和健康的影响、亚健康问题、健康生活方式与身心健康的关系等。但目前还存在着实证研究少、研究对象和工具局限、心理学视角研究较少等不足。应通过实证研究,深入探讨生活方式与体质或健康的关系、健全人格与健康生活方式的关系、生活方式与经济发展和健身条件的关系等。  相似文献

政府消费对居民消费存在着挤出效应、挤入效应。本文在典型的新古典经济学的分析框架下,引入凯恩斯主义中的当期绝对可支配收入研究政府消费与居民消费的关系,发现中国居民消费率与政府消费率、可支配收入占比之间存在阶段性的协整关系,政府消费对居民消费存在加强的挤出效应;政府消费与居民消费共生,互为Granger因果;政府消费对居民消费的动态效应开始为挤入,后为更强挤出。如果在新经济增长阶段中国政府消费职能从推动经济建设向提供公共产品过渡,中国政府消费对居民消费的作用也将从挤出变为挤入。  相似文献

本文深入分析了我国居民消费的城乡差异,指出收入并不是城镇居民消费增长缓慢的主要原因,消费倾向显著下降才是关键因素;而对于农村居民而言,情况正好相反,消费倾向已达极限,提高农村居民收入水平成为刺激农村居民消费的唯一途径。在此基础上,本文提出了相应的对策建议。  相似文献
