随着世界经济发展,中日两国服务贸易竞争力得到显著提高,但都同时存在在世界服务贸易中所占比重偏低、服务贸易均为逆差、服务贸易行业发展不平衡等问题。本文综合运用出口市场占有率、竞争优势指数、显示性比较优势指数等竞争力指数对中日两国服务贸易的竞争力进行比较分析,提出大力发展服务贸易,发挥政府在服务贸易中的促进作用以及在比较优势基础上促进技术知识密集型服务行业的发展。  相似文献

基于金砖国家服务贸易的发展现状,运用 RCA、TC、IMR 指数等指标从多角度对金砖国家服务贸易的国际竞争力进行比较分析,结果显示竞争力最强的为印度,中国处在中等地位,南非潜力十足,巴西、俄罗斯发展较缓慢,我国服务贸易的整体竞争力仍有待提高。提出扩大服务贸易规模,增加服务贸易出口比重,大力发展高附加值的现代服务贸易,增加对服务业的直接投资,提高利用外资的效率和质量,充分发挥政府职能,营造良好的发展环境等提高我国服务贸易竞争力的对策建议。  相似文献

在分析中国创意服务贸易特征的基础上,运用贸易竞争力(TC)指数和相对(技术)复杂度指数,采用UNCTAD发布的最新统计数据,对中国以及世界其他五个国家的创意服务贸易的国际竞争力进行了比较研究。结果显示:我国创意服务贸易已具备一定的国际竞争力,在世界创意服务贸易的地位也不断提升,但是各分项发展很不平衡。因此,要加强对进出口市场的了解,优化出口结构,提高创意服务进口的技术水平,同时注重创意服务高端人才的培养与引进。  相似文献

促进服务贸易出口已经成为我国“十二五”时期重要的对外经济发展战略,而周期波动分析是考察和检测服务贸易出口运行态势的重要方法,但相关研究文献几乎还是空白.基于增长率直接法和增长率趋势法对中国服务贸易出口短周期、中周期、中长周期波动的识别和分析表明,1982年以来我国服务贸易出口经历了11次短周期波动、3次中周期波动和2次中长周期波动.随着经济全球化的不断深化,加强服务贸易出口周期波动和服务贸易出口预警方面的理论研究成为一项艰巨而重要的任务.  相似文献

This study, using panel data on Japanese firms, analyses the relationship between services trade and firm heterogeneity. It finds that the number of firms engaged in services trade is far less than that engaged in goods trade. Further, the productivity of services traders is higher than that of domestic firms and goods trading firms, whereas the productivity of firms that export services beyond the boundary of their firm groups is higher than that of those that export services only to their affiliate firms. These results suggest that only productive firms can engage in services trade by incurring the relatively large fixed costs.  相似文献

This study empirically examines the impact of export promotional services on the export performance of manufacturing firms in Tanzania. The results suggest three broad tentative contributions to our understanding of export causal relationships: First, awareness per se of export promotional services is a poor explanatory factor of export performance. Second, as expected, usage of the services is a better explanatory factor than awareness. Third, contrary to expectations, satisfaction with the services tends to be inversely associated, though not significantly, with export performance. More empirical research elsewhere is recommended to validate these results.  相似文献

我国服务贸易与GDP之间存在长期均衡关系.服务出口对我国经济发展具有显著的推动作用,其对GDP增长的贡献大于服务贸易总额的贡献.我国经济发展为服务进口提供了源动力.我国服务贸易与GDP之间由短期偏离向长期均衡调整的速度很快.因此,增加服务出口是我国长期要坚持的策略,重视服务进口有利于我国经济的可持续发展.  相似文献

This paper shows that smaller and less productive firms, as well as first-time exporters, are overproportionally affected by services trade barriers using micro-data from Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. For these firms, both the propensity to export and export volumes to less restrictive destinations are significantly higher than to more restrictive destinations. In contrast, policy barriers measured by the OECD Services Trade Restrictiveness Index (STRI) do not affect export decisions of the largest, most productive and experience services firms. The pattern holds for two major modes of supply, cross-border services exports and foreign affiliate sales of services firms. The findings are consistent with firm sorting mechanisms in trade models with heterogeneous firms and hysteresis of export participation in the presence of sunk export costs.  相似文献

This work contributes to the growing literature on international trade in services at firm level. Our data set provides information on exports and imports of services (excluding transportation and travel) in 2008–09 for almost 3,000 Italian industrial and services firms, divided by partner country and type of service. We report a set of stylised facts on services trade and analyse the choice between export and foreign direct investment in services at the firm level. We find that the export and import of services are highly concentrated in just a few firms. Firm‐level variation in trade is positively correlated with firm size and productivity. Country‐level variation is to a large extent explained by the standard gravity variables: distance strongly reduces trade in services in spite of their intangibility. Smaller and less productive firms choose to export rather than sell through foreign affiliates, although there is some heterogeneity among service types.  相似文献

本文利用VAR模型对中国服务业外商直接投资与服务贸易的关系进行了实证研究,结果表明,只存在服务出口、服务进口分别是服务业外商直接投资的单向Granger原因,服务业外商直接投资并不是服务出口和服务进口的Granger原因。从长期来看,服务业外商直接投资与服务出口、服务进口均是替代关系,短期来看,服务业外商直接投资与服务出口、服务进口是较弱的互补关系。  相似文献

Based on the advance-retreat course (ARC) model - a growth model under environmental pressure, this paper builds a bilateral import and export trade growth model under environmental pressure. By using the model, the paper analyzes the impacts of innovation on import and export growth, presents a method for computing the optimal levels of imports and exports, derives the limit values of imports and exports, and obtains the limit equilibrium between exports and imports. Finally, a strategy for promoting import and export growth and achieving a bilateral trade balance according to the limit equilibrium is designed. The findings are the following: (i) innovation growth will gradually reduce goods import and export, and services import and export will increase, (ii) the U.S. import–export structure is more reasonable than that of China, and (iii) there is big room for services import and export growth for China.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This article examines the role of the Internet in the delivery of export promotion services. Based on a content analysis of the Web sites of 250 export promotion organizations (EPOs) representing over 130 countries, it is concluded that the majority of these organizations have not fully exploited the potentials of this technology in the delivery of support services to national exporters. Use of the Internet is primarily limited to dissemination of basic information with little effort made to utilize the interactive and customization features of the technology. The managerial and policy implications of this failure in terms of increased cost of market entry, lost export revenues, and exporter attrition are discussed.  相似文献
