食品企业物流外包战略分析及实证研究

为了解决我国食品企业实力相对薄弱、资金相对短缺,自营食品物流的组织弱、规模小,不适应食品物流的高技术要求的局面,利用平衡计分卡和层次分析法的方法,对食品企业物流外包战略进行了系统分析,研究了物流外包的模式、物流供应商的选择及战略的实施。最后以青岛华昌集团为例,对其物流外包战略进行了实证研究,并分析了其实施效果,从而证明该研究具有实践意义。

Workplace Union Resilience in the Merseyside Fire Brigade

Here the author provides evidence from empirical case study research into the changing nature of workplace industrial relations and trade union organisation within the Merseyside Fire Brigade over the last 10–15 years. He documents the main processes of development within an historical context assessing workplace unionism during the 1980s, the recent challenge posed by managerial restructuring in the early 1990s, and the wider implications for debates about the ‘state’ of workplace unionism in Britain today.

Improving logistics performance in cross-border 3PL relationships

This paper proposes guidelines for improving logistics performance in terms of cost efficiency and on-time delivery in shipper–third-party logistics (3PL) provider relationships within an offshore outsourcing context. A conceptual framework is constructed based on a thorough literature review. Empirical data are collected through semi-structured interviews in a single-case study with a dyadic perspective, examining the 3PL relationship between Ericsson of Sweden and Aramex of Saudi Arabia. Accordingly, a revised framework is proposed after illustrating the case and merging the literature with practice. The findings highlight the impact of communication, trust, culture, system compliance, work agreements, and standardisation on cost efficiency and on-time delivery performance. The developed framework illustrates a sequential order for working on these factors to achieve performance improvement. This research is one of the first to propose guidelines for performance improvements within offshore outsourcing of 3PL services.     

Union militancy and left‐wing leadership on London Underground

The article provides evidence from case study research into trade union organisation and activity on the London Under‐ground during the 1990s. It explores the extent to which left‐wing political leadership influenced the collectivisation and mobilisation of workers in an adversarial direction, and whether or not this militant trade unionism was self‐defeating compared with a more moderate approach.     

Work and employment in distribution and exchange: moments in the circuit of capital

This article examines the ‘politics of production’ within grocery warehousing and distribution. In doing so, it highlights the complex linkages between logistics companies and their dominant supermarket customers. Building on the work of Glucksmann and the notion of the ‘total social organisation of labour’, the article reveals how an understanding of employment change within grocery distribution necessarily involves mapping these linkages, thereby examining how they impact on the labour process. Drawing on case‐study evidence from two third‐party grocery distribution companies, it examines empirically the nature of the linkages between these organisations and their effects on the labour process. It also explores the extent to which organised labour within these interconnected distribution companies is able to mediate and re‐shape the requirements placed upon them by their customers. It concludes by highlighting how the power of the retailers and the corresponding ‘logistics revolution’ has reshaped the politics of production. In addition, it calls for an understanding of work and employment in warehousing and distribution, which engages with the complex articulation between production, distribution and exchange.

中小型医药连锁企业物流服务商的动态评价研究

在国内外的研究成果基础上,文章构建了一套适合于中小型医药连锁企业对物流服务商的评价指标体系,建立了具有激励特性的动态评价模型,并运用理想点逼近法,对最终评价结果进行改进。最后根据各物流服务商与理想解的距离大小确定优劣排序,实现主观信息与客观信息相结合的合理评价。     

MC模式下物流系统合理化研究

大规模定制生产模式是21世纪企业制造的主要模式之一,而物流系统是实现这一模式的主要瓶颈。文章以系统理论为指导,以满足客户个性化需求为核心,在分析了不同模式下物流系统的特点基础上,从物流目标、物流组织、物流效率和物流技术四个角度．对大规模定制模式下的物流系统的合理化策略做了探讨。     

Introducing the paradox theory in logistics and SCM research – examples from a global sourcing context

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and explore the use of paradox theory in a logistics and SCM research context. Although logistics and SCM scholars as well as practitioners have been aware about the existence of paradoxes, they have so far lacked a more formal theoretical framework for further identification and classification of these. Framed in the four general paradox classes of learning, belonging, organising and performing, the paper outlines paradoxes inherent in the global sourcing practices of two case companies. The findings demonstrate the paradox theory to be a useful tool for a systematic illumination and classification of paradoxes valuable for practitioners, researchers as well as teachers in the domain of logistics and SCM. The paradox theory may also help to identify and emphasise inconsistencies among different research fields. This is particularly valuable for research areas built upon multiple research disciplines such as global sourcing. In conclusion, the paper suggests that the paradox theory offers a new lens through which an organisation could be better explored, described and understood.     

我国应急物流研究综述与展望

应急物流的高效运作能够降低突发事件造成的危害,因而得到了理论界的广泛关注。文章在综合近几年我国应急物流研究文献的基础上,从“基本理论、系统构建、风险、存在问题、存在问题对策及相关模型”六个方面对应急物流的研究进展进行了综述。然后给出了进一步研究的主要方向：应急物流动态管理、虚拟应急物流、应急物流风险管理和应急物流决策支持系统.     

Balancing Multiple Competing Objectives with a Balanced Scorecard

This paper investigates how multiple and competing objectives are managed within an organisation, and the role that the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) plays in balancing organisational objectives. The issue of achieving multiple objectives, those which represent the interests of various stakeholders, has come to the forefront of the corporate agenda, as companies are seen increasingly as more than a source of profit for shareholders, but rather as ‘citizens’ playing a broader role in society. This study adopts an exploratory case study approach to understand how the BSC is used in management decision and control processes to assist with the balancing of objectives. The case organisation is a state-owned electricity company, and provides a unique setting where multiple and equally important strategic objectives exist. The results demonstrate that the BSC has the potential to help in making trade-offs and balancing objectives, but there are certain requirements for this to succeed. The paper provides insights into issues of balanced strategic management, as it discusses ‘balance’ in terms of both process and outcomes.
