第116届广交会再次遭遇＂双降＂ 第116届广交会于11月4日闭幕。据统计,本届广交会到会采购商和出口成交均比上届有所下降。本届广交会到会采购商186104人,来自211个国家和地区,比上届减少1.07%;出口成交金额1792.03亿元人民币,比上届下降6.1%（扣除汇率波动因素）。     

第八届中国航展签约93亿美元

第八届中国国际航空航天博览会于2010年11月21日在珠海落下帷幕。为期6天的航展期间,各国及地区的参展商共签订了28个项目,价值93亿美元（不包括C919大型客机启动用户订单）的各种合同、协议及合作意向,成交金额比上届航展增长一倍多。这是中国航展举办以来,签约金额最多的一届航展。

世界500强企业扎堆广交会,希望在中国开拓市场寻找机会在广交会上,我第一次看到这么壮观的进口展区。在第110届中国进出口商品交易会的进口展区,一位已经参加过10届广交会的采购商发出这样的感慨。与以往不同,第110届广交会进口展区的规模空前,大批国际知名企业参展,希望在中国开拓市场、寻找机会。在这些国际参展商的眼中,中国不再仅是世界工厂,更加成为一个具有全球吸引力的巨大市场。     

金融危机下制成品出口价格纵横谈

On behalf of the United States of America, U.S. Ambassador Clark T. Randt, Jr. and the American Embassy in Beijing and for the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, I am pleased to extend congratulations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of China＇s Foreign Trade magazine and the 100th Session of the Chinese Export Commodities Fair. Fifty years have passed since the 1st Session of the Trade Fair and the changes have been significant, but the intent - providing China with an opportunity to exhibit its increasingly sophisticated wares and an appreciative global market - remains the same. Moreover, during this time, China has moved from a command economy guided by administrative decree to one which is largely market-oriented and is now the fourth-largest economy in the world. This is a tremendous achievement.

In ancient times, the reach of Pearl River across Guangzhou downtown area was as wide as about 2 kilometers. There were three reef islands in the river, named Haizhu (Sea Pearl) Rock, Haiyin Rock and Fuqiu Rock. Haizhu Rock, also called Haizhu Island, was a huge reef island in the river. In 1931, in the enlargement of the new bank during Yan Jiang Road construction, Sea Pearl Rock was buried underground. The name of Pearl River originated from "Haizhu (Sea Pearl) Rock".
