For years, bank management has relied on mathematical, statistical and financial models, which increasingly expose banks to model risk. The latter is also extended by the phenomenon of innovation: machine learning, artificial intelligence and big data make the models more and more sophisticated and difficult to manage. This study aims to clarify how the literature on model risk is evolving through a bibliometric survey to understand state of the art and identify the discussion topics, open questions and challenges for the future. The study results show that the literature on model risk is still quite young and sparse. The problems to be solved are conceptual, computational, and organizational. The considerations made lead to the question of whether adding further complexity to model risk management is a solution or whether, on the contrary, it creates new model risks. 相似文献

We live at a critical juncture in the history of our species, when a mode of evolution that was dominant since the advance of the Neolithic creates unsustainable conditions. The hitherto dominant mode can be characterized as aiming at conquest, colonization and, more recently, consumption: it is the ‘extensive’ form of evolution. By contrast the currently desirable, and in the long-term uniquely sustainable mode of evolution is the intensive form: it aims at connection, communication, and consciousness. 唐君毅先生的这篇关于学问的文章发表于50多年前。之所以编选这篇文章,是因为现在躁动的文化领域将太多的伪学问和极浅表的记忆性的所谓“知识”做成“学问”诱导青年去追捧。在科技高度发达的今天,拿许多词条式的“学问”吊青年人的胃口,以博得大卖场中的叫好声,很缺乏文化含量。人们对这样的声音已经听得太多了:“请听题:某某(当红明星的名字)什么时候领衔出演了什么电视剧?……”把这样的“学问”拿到唐先生的学问分类中,真不知道能算个什么东西。中国学生的记忆本事被训练得让西方人吃惊,但是能在各领域做出突破成绩的则属凤毛麟角。为什么?缺了综合运用知识进行独立思考的能力、动手能力和构建自己一套方法的能力,而这些能力都被灌肠填鸭式的教学法给泯灭掉了,“凡是能在网上搜寻得来的知识,将越来越失去其学问本性。”——这是我的“学问观”。那些一方为了赚钱,另一方为了“达标”、“考级取证”的培训乃至“教学”,我认为在很大程度上是做着与唐先生所说的追求学问相反的事情,一旦这种活动滥了,反而会使民族文化走向没落。 相似文献

Knowledge management (KM) is an emerging area, which is gaining interest by both enterprises and academics. The effective implementation of a KM strategy is considering as a ‘must’ and as a precondition of success for contemporary enterprises, as they enter the era of the knowledge economy. However, the field of KM has been slow in formulating a universally accepted methodology, due to the many pending issues that have to be addressed. This paper attempts to propose a novel taxonomy for KM research by co‐instantaneously presenting the current status with some major themes of KM research. School education seems to be mostly stuck in an outdated industrial era worldview, unable to sufficiently address the significance and increasing rapidity of changes to humanity that are upon us. An integrated forward-looking view should, now more than ever, be of central importance in how we educate. Yet there is little sign that—unlike corporations—school systems are recognising the true value of futures studies. A brief history of futures in school education shows the significant role played by the World Futures Studies Federation in its evolution to date. The article also introduces integral analysis as a way of opening up new possibilities to help school education develop due foresight and to more fully realise its potential as a prime facilitator in individual and cultural evolution. 相似文献
