大力推进流通方式现代化

第十二届亚太零售商大会暨展会开幕式9月6日在北京举行。中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理吴仪出席开幕式并发表致辞指出，当前，经济全球化加速发展。世界经济和产业结构调整步伐加快，各国零售业面临前所未有的机遇和挑战。中国政府一向重视零售业的发展，将继续大力推进流通方式现代化，更好地满足人民群众日益增长的消费需求。     

WTO流通企业如何应对

<正> 中国加入WTO以后,对流通企业而言利弊参半,但利大于弊,因为流通业作为开放较早的领域,自身抵抗能力较强。从1992年我国正式对外开放国内零售市场开始,到1999年底,由国务院有关部门审批的中外合资零售商业企业共有21家。截止到1998年底,北京已有外商投资零售企业45家,港、澳、台投资零售业32家;再加上外商及港澳台投资的批发企业99家,在京的外商及港澳台的三资企业共176家。77家

During the unique interview with our reporter, Mr. Liangwei, director of the Beijing Commercial Committee,put forward that the circulation industry in Beijing will have realized the modernization by the year of 2008, In order to achieve such an aim, the Beijing Administration will further introduce foreign-capital commerce enterprises objectively and actively. He also indicates that there will be a fastigium (peak time) for large-size retail enter prises to enter into Beijing market within next one or two years, which will lead to the Third Upsurge for foreign-run commerce enterprises coming into Beijing. The years, especially the recent 13 years since our opening-up to outside world, have witnessed the great changes happened to the extension and intension of the Beijing Circulation Industry. The total retail amount of Community consumable and the GDP in Beijing has increased fast. As a backbone industry, the Beijing Circulation Industry runs to the third place, accounting for 8-10% of the GDP. In addition, itprovides more than 1,400,000employment opportunity, with one of four in the service undertaking commerce services. Mr. Liang deems that the modernization of the circulation industry plays an important role in the economic development, the improvement of people living standards and the transformation of the capital style and features, which could be fully expressed by the theme of the imminent convention-Circulation Changes People Lives. He points out that such a modernization is exoteric rather than close, therefore the introduction of a brand or a famous circulation enterprise abroad will advance the level of the Circulation Industry as a whole instead of being harmful to the local enterprises. Henceforth, the Beijing Administration will actively offer the convenience and better service for the foreign-capital commerce enterprises entry into Beijing under the State' s laws and policies,     

对流通企业抓信息现代化建设的认识

为了推动流通企业应用电子信息技术，最近我们在新疆乌鲁木齐市召开了“流通企业应用电子信息技术研讨会”，会上部分企业就如何应用电子信息技术进行了经验交流与研讨，并请了有关专家对卫星网络技术、国际互联网及基于现代营销观念上的商场MIS系统的设计原则进行了专题讲座。
