论我国的出口平台型外商直接投资

除了水平型投资和垂直型投资以外,出口平台型直接投资成为了近期研究的热点。本文使用1980-2004年间我国对外经济贸易和外资企业出口数据,说明:20世纪90年代中期以前,各国在华直接投资动机存在明显差异;但20世纪90年代中期以后,各国投资动机趋同,我国大陆地区成为了香港地区、日本和美国这三个主要投资来源地的出口平台。但是与新加坡和爱尔兰这两个世界上主要的出口平台型国家相比,外资企业还没有成为我国经济的支柱,我国并不属于出口平台型国家。     

俄罗斯吸引外国直接投资的政策研究

近年来,俄罗斯政治形势比较稳定,经济持续增长,吸引外国直接投资额迅速增长,同时是世界上吸引外国直接投资额增幅最大的国家之一。尽管还存在外国直接投资在外资总额和国内生产总值中比例不大、行业和地区分布不尽合理、投资环境也有待于进一步改善等问题,但是俄罗斯将成为外国直接投资热点之一已是不争的事实。

本文利用实证数据分析了我国专利保护对FDI的投资规模、产业结构、投资模式、进入方式等方面的影响,说明专利保护状况不仅是吸引外资流入的重要法律保障,而且在一定程度上还是提高外商直接投资规模、质量和效益的重要手段。     

我国外商直接投资中的撤资问题研究——以韩资为例

我国在成为引资大国的同时,撤资现象也随之增多。因此,有必要重视我国FDI中的撤资问题。本文以韩资为例对该问题进行了研究。文章首先对撤资理论和主要文献进行了回顾和总结,然后,对韩国在我国投资和撤资的基本情况进行了分析,并从外部环境和内部条件两个层面归纳了韩国企业从我国撤资的原因。最后,分别从我国和韩国企业的角度探讨了防范撤资的对策。     

人力资本对外商直接投资区位选择的影响——跨期考察与分区域分析

通过跨期的与分区域的分析,文章实证了人力资本对外商直接投资区位选择的影响作用,结果表明:人力资本水平对外商直接投资的区位选择有正的影响;人力资本水平对外商直接投资区位选择的影响程度正在增强;人力资本水平对外商直接投资区位选择的影响在东、中、西部之间是有差异的。在东部,人力资本的影响程度最大,中、西部依次递减。

Summary

Foreign Direct Investment has gone through three distinct phases in Central American history. First, it was mainly in the form of agricultural development during the agricultural export-led growth era. The import-substitution era saw manufacturing enter as well. The non-traditional export promotion strategy currently in place attracts firms seeking to use the region as a platform for exporting outside the region. Modern FDI generates greater linkages with the rest of the economy than in the past. However, remittance of profits is still large and problematic.

本文分析了1991-2003年间外商在华直接投资的区位变迁及其特征。外国直接投资高度集中在东部地区,“入世”后,外商在华直接投资呈现“北上”的趋势,“西进”趋势不明显,而且外国直接投资在东、中、西部地区省际间的分布存在严重的不平衡。本文还归纳了外商在华直接投资区位变迁的影响因素,包括基础设施、市场因素、劳动力因素、优惠政策、产业集群效应,并在此基础上,提出了调整引资政策、促进外国直接投资向中西部地区流动的对策。

Summary

Brazil, along with many other emerging market countries has attracted a large amount of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the last decade. The role FDI plays in the modern Brazilian economy is different than in its previous incarnations. The latter included the necessary investment to build a primary export economy, and the manufacturing facilities associated with import substitution industrialization. Modern day FDI is attracted to Brazil due to macroeconomic stability, privatization, changes in the legal status of foreign capital, and as part of a large inflow of capital into emerging markets. The new involvement of foreign business, like the old, brings with it both costs and benefits.

近年来我国出口贸易发展很快,而外资企业出口在我国出口总额中的比重较大,如何充分利用外资来促进我国出口贸易的良性持续发展是一个值得关注的问题。本文以浙江省为例,从外资企业出口的现状分析出发,阐述了外商直接投资促进出口贸易的积极作用及其局限性,提出了进一步利用外商直接投资促进出口贸易更快更好发展的若干对策。     

Foreign Direct Investment in China

Summary

China has attracted the second largest amount of foreign direct investment in the world each year since 1993. Hundreds of thousands of foreign-invested enterprises are in operation in China. However, what drive the success or cause the failure of foreign investments is still not well understood. This paper critically examines one success factor, i.e., the importance of timing of marketing entry into China. It begins with a brief review of the literature on first-mover advantages and the recent empirical research. It then attempts to theorize on why timing of market entry matters in the context of foreign direct investment. Apart from drawing upon the four recent studies in this area, this paper focuses on the auto industry in China and the case of Volkswagen to illustrate the importance of early entry into an overseas market. It calls for foreign investors to seize the first-wave opportunities when the door is opened a certain sector. It pays in the long run both in terms of the market share position and profitability.     

FDI对我国自主创新能力影响的实证研究

本文运用我国30个省、市、自治区1998-2006年的数据,从全国专利总体及分类角度,计量检验了外商直接投资(FDI)对我国自主创新能力的影响。研究发现:FDI对我国总体专利申请产生了显著的正面溢出效应,对发明专利的申请没有显著影响,对于实用新型和外观设计专利则产生了明显的溢出效应。结果表明:我国目前的管理制度不太利于自主创新能力的提高,而经济发展水平及科技人力资本投入是我国自主创新能力提高的两个重要影响因素。     

外国直接投资与中国区域经济发展的实证分析

20世纪90年代以来FDI对中国经济发展影响越来越大。本文利用1991-2003年时间序列和横断面数据,就FDI对中国区域经济发展的短期效应和长期效应进行实证分析。结果表明在这段时间里FDI对中国区域经济非均衡发展有显著的影响,FDI促进中国区域经济发展,但是在区域间的非均衡分布又加剧了区域经济的非均衡发展。最后提出吸引更多的FDI到中西部地区、缩小区域经济差距、促进区域经济均衡发展的政策建议。     

企业对外投资对技术进步的影响

企业对外投资带来的技术进步,是企业对外投资的良性影响,也是逆向技术溢出效应在企业层面的具体体现。通过对企业外投资的总量特征、经济背景和结构的分析,指出企业通过对外投资能够使企业更多的接触国外先进的技术知识、降低国内企业的研发成本、使企业迅速实现人才资源的聚集。通过建模的方式,对企业对外投资对技术进步的影响进行定量分析。
