我国上市公司的行业信用风险研究——运用“Z评分模型”评价

不同行业上市公司的信用风险度量问题,长期以来一直是各方当事人关注的焦点,也是困扰各利益相关主体的难题。在这方面,西方发达国家长期以来广泛使用的信用风险管理模型为我们提供了很好的借鉴。因此,选用由美国著名信用风险管理专家Altman建立的"Z评分模型"来对我国上市公司的行业信用风险分析评价进行实证研究,验证其在我国股票市场的有效性程度,是对解决该问题的一种尝试。     

基于GloMoSim的移动自组网路由仿真

全球移动信息系统仿真平台（CloMoSim）在移动自组织网络仿真中得到了广泛的应用，尤其是对网络路由以及MAC协议的建模支持。在对自组网路由方式特点及协议设计思路进行分析的基础上．结合典型的自组网路由算法策略，重点介绍了GloMoSim仿真环境的特点及其目前所支持的路由层协议。通过多次仿真验证，分析比较了这些路由协议的相关性能并得出结论。     

Interorganizational Ethics: Standards of Behavior

The traditional basis for advocating ethical business conduct has been morality defined in philosophical or religious terms. However, fairness and moral obligation have provided little incentive for anything like universal ethical business behavior.The idea that "good ethics is good business" as an incentive is looked upon with skepticism by those with bottom line responsibility. However, if managers were aware of the extent to which certain business behaviors impose significant costs on individual transactions and relationships, a valid incentive would exist.The need for such standards has intensified with the fundamental shifts in business philosophy, structure, and practice along with profound changes in product markets and supply sources. The universal standards, ISO 9000 for product and service quality, and ISO 14000 for environmental issues were created and implemented to cope with problems in their respective areas and they providea model which can be adapted to the realms of ethics.

Policy and practice in the Netherlands

Abstract: As in many other areas of public policy in the Netherlands, development of consumer protection in banking and financial services has been characterized by a consensual approach. Consumer organizations have been involved along with representative business bodies in building self-regulatory systems within a statutory framework, especially in relation to issues related to overindebtedness. This approach has characterized dispute settlement procedures as well as a code of conduct on good lending practice and a national credit registration system. The Consumer Credit Act provides a system of maximum interest rates for different kinds of credit, which may be varied according to market conditions. The needs of consumers at the lower end of the credit market are specifically catered for by a network of municipal credit banks, which also provide debt settlement services.

Toward a cross‐cultural theory of “exemplary organizations”: Evidence from Cuba

Management interest in “good companies to work for,” or “exemplary organizations,” has attracted the interest of researchers in the United States and Europe. We contribute to the literature on exemplary organizations by studying the representation of “exemplary organizations” in an unusual context, Cuba, and by inviting scholars to explore the cross‐cultural differences between what in different countries is viewed as an exemplary organization. Until now, studies on the best companies to work for have focused on companies operating in capitalistic economies. We aim to develop a better understanding of the representation of what a good place might be in an economic and ideological context that is in sharp contrast with the contexts in which this theme has been studied previously. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

提出了一种地形分块加速绘制算法。算法递归地将地形划分为多个大小相等的地形块 ,通过统计地形块中目标分布的稀疏度以及无目标地形块所占的比例,寻找最优的地形分块 方式。此外,提出了一种利用Diamond-Squares算法生成随机纹理,并融合顶点颜色为地形 着色的方法,渲染的地形真实感强、层次分明。最后,介绍了防撞雷达三维显示中的场景漫 游方式。该方法已成功应用于实际工程中,显示效果良好,并且具有通用性,可以应用于一 般的三维地形绘制。     

The Interplay of Communication and Decisions in Electronic Negotiations: Communicative Decisions or Decisive Communication?

Whilst much research has been conducted on decision support for electronic negotiations and some research has been done on communication support in this area, there is a lack of research on the interplay between these two elements of negotiations. The questions whether both are equally important, whether one effects the other, or whether they show counter-effects are important both for negotiation training (i.e. what should be the focus for becoming a good negotiator) and for system research (i.e. which system support elements need to be developed). The current paper presents results of a controlled laboratory experiment with negotiators that were provided with decision support and communication support and negotiators that had only communication support available. The impact of decision support on the communication process and on outcome dimensions as well as the impact of communication behaviour on the negotiation process and the qualitative dimensions of the outcome will be discussed.

Fair trading in markets for credence goods

Consumer concern about food quality issues has been increasing in Europe recently as a result of the series of food safety crises and the on-going debate on genetically engineered food products. The characteristics of a good which interest consumers in this connection cannot be directly ascertained by them, however. Credible mechanisms are required for monitoring these “credence characteristics” and signalling the results to consumers. The public authorities have an important role to play in this regard.     

Explaining Success: the Rule of Ten Percent and the Example of Market Share

This article has four aims. First, the author argues that, for good reasons, it has been impossible to find any single variable that accounts for more than 10% of the variation in business performance: he calls this the rule of 10%. Second he shows how a 10% effect can be presented graphically to seem much more significant. Third, given problems of measurement and definition, even the 10% which is explained may prove to be of limited value, which is illustrated with the well-established link between market share and return on investment. Fourth, even where variables can be identified and their contribution quantified, he questions the extent to which this can be done in a form useful to managers. The overall conclusion is that determinants of business success are so complex that managers should reject any "one big explanation" however convincing the presentation.
