Bricolage,collaboration and mission drift in social enterprises

Abstract

Increasingly, social enterprises are relying on collaboration with partners to tackle the resource constraints that they face. In this research we focus on the strategy of bricolage to explore whether and how the different types of partner becoming involved may impact on the mission of social enterprises. Grounded in resource dependency and transaction cost theories, we explore how power asymmetry and the nature of involvement may impact on the outcomes of bricolage. Our findings demonstrate that in the more integrated relationships with high power asymmetry, more instances of mission drift might be observed compared to when social enterprises develop the more collaborative or complementary nature of partnerships with symmetrical power dependency, or when the partners’ involvements are mainly transaction-based.     

有色企业生产信息化系统研究与实施

企业信息化是国民经济信息化的基础,也是信息化带动工业化的核心内容。文章以某有色企业生产制造执行系统(MES)建设为背景,详细阐述了有色企业生产信息化项目研发建设过程中,有一定代表性及通用性的系统应用集成、系统分析设计、项目管理及技术路线等相关领域的方法、思路。该方法体系在具体项目实践中收到良好的项目建设效果,具备一定的行业参考价值及借鉴意义。     

网络计划在企业生产管理中的应用

文章指出随着现代企业的发展,传统的流水线生产管理方式已不能适应发展的需要,ERP的出现,使得网络计划在企业生产管理中应运而生,从而给现代企业生产管理带来了高效率,提高了企业间的竞争力。     

独立学院信息管理与信息系统专业人才培养的实践

本文以协同创新为指导思想,以广东省独立学院办学现状为基础,以切实加强信息管理与信息系统专业的内涵建设为核心,提出了信息系统开发与管理、信息资源开发与管理、IT服务与营销三个培养方向;以提高教学质量和人才培养质量为目标,积极采取教学改革,以期探索出一条适合独立学院办学特点、积极推进协同创新的人才培养道路。     

ERP system implementation in SMEs: exploring the influences of the SME context

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are increasingly implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Compared to large enterprises, SMEs differ in a number of inherent characteristics, which are likely to impact the ERP system implementations. The purpose of this study is to explore these influences of the SME context on the ERP system implementation process. SME characteristics are synthesised from relevant literature and the influences of the contextual factors on various activities across the ERP life cycle are investigated. The study presents findings from a multiple case study of four SMEs. The ownership type of the companies and limited resources were identified as the most influential contextual factors. Among the ERP life-cycle phases, the implementation phase was affected most by the SME context. The case studies also illustrate the need for a more nuanced view on what should be considered general characteristics of SMEs; for example, regarding the level of IS knowledge, business processes, and market characteristics.     

我国大城市生产和人口过度集中的原因分析

分析了我国劳动力流动的三个重要特征:农民工工资与城市生活成本的非相关性;农民工和应届大学毕业生对城市病的不敏感性;大城市居民中劳动人口较高的迁移成本。在此基础上讨论了其对生产和人口在大城市的过度集中的影响。     

中小型制造企业生产异常事件的诊断与处理

本文对中小型制造企业生产异常情况的成因、分类及影响进行了探究分析,并针对中小型制造企业生产中的异常不能及时反馈和处理,以及生产效率和交货期等难以管控的现状,研究设计了一套对中小型制造企业生产过程异常的诊断流程与处理方法,为中小型制造企业解决此类问题提供了有益参考。
