中小企业的可持续成长:代内成长与代际成长

实现可持续成长是中小企业放大其经济功能的重要基础。按照“企业代”的概念,中小企业的可持续成长包括“代内成长”与“代际成长”两种成长类型。企业理念更新、战略资源储备以及资本积累模式转换,是提高中小企业代内成长效率的基本要求。代际成长在中小企业的可持续成长过程中具有特别重要的意义。实现企业的代际推进,是中小企业可持续成长的战略重点。     

Barriers to Involvement: the Disconnected Worlds of Disability and Regeneration

Disabled people are noticeably absent from the government's regeneration agenda, despite its current emphasis on empowering and involving local communities in urban renewal. This paper explores some of the barriers to disabled people's involvement in regeneration initiatives at the local level, focusing particularly on the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB). Interviews with regeneration managers, local authority officers, disabled people and disability groups identified a range of barriers. These included a lack of strategic recognition that disabled people were 'relevant' to regeneration, difficulties with the SRB's centrally-prescribed outputs and timescales, a lack of accessible information for disabled people, and circumscribed local political networks which served to marginalize certain disability groups from local regeneration processes. The paper concludes by suggesting ways in which some of these barriers might be addessed.

老舍旧居 如椽大笔昭千秋

大家可曾记得上世纪80年代中期，一部根据老舍先生同名原著拍摄的电视剧《四世同堂》，当时的热播激发了不知多少年轻人的爱国热情。而这部巨著就是抗战时期老舍先生在重庆北碚完成的。     

我国民营企业家族经营的代际决策

文章通过引入一个动态演化模型,讨论了家族企业在代际转换的背景下,进行家族经营和专业化管理选择的决策条件。研究发现：家族企业在依靠积累扩张资本规模的发展过程中,将从资本规模较低时期的家族经营走向资本规模较大时期的专业化管理阶段,而决定家族企业代际决策的临界资本规模又取决于职业经理人价值及其不确定性。因此,建立和发展经理人市场将有助于加速我国家族企业走向专业化管理的进程。     

Ageing and the Conflict of Interest Between Generations

The ageing of the population imposes a considerable burden on long-term public finances in most industrialized countries. Generational accounting has been used across the world to assess the generational imbalance associated with current public policies. In this study, we incorporate Dutch generational accounts in an open economy overlapping generations model to assess the sustainability gap in current Dutch public finances. Our central estimate of the gap is 4.5% of gdp, but the paper also shows the sensitivity of this result. We explore a variety of policy reforms to reduce the sustainability gap, thereby presenting the impact on the intergenerational distribution of the net benefit from government.

Government Debt and Economic Growth in an Overlapping Generations Model

Prior studies have shown that an increase in government debt raises the real interest rate and lowers the rate of economic growth. In an overlapping generations model of endogenous growth, this paper shows that an increase in government debt may not increase the real interest rate with the real interest rate being greater than the growth and that an introduction of government debt will increase the growth rate of per capita output if the growth rate is greater than the real interest rate and will decrease the growth rate if the growth rate is less than the real interest rate.

食品消费的代际差异——基于中国健康与营养调查的实证研究

本文使用CHNS2000、2004年的个体膳食调查数据，估计60年代和70年代生人的四大类食物（谷类、蔬菜类、畜肉类和蛋类）的消费函数。对回归结果进行分析发现，食品消费对于价格因素并不敏感，收入是影响消费决策的重要变量；并且代际差异确实存在。就收入弹性而言，两者在畜肉类食物上的差异最大。同时，对于收入引致的畜肉类食物消费增量与身体质量指数（BMI）增量之间关系的研究认为，两者存在显著正相关关系，这有助于解释70年代生人超重和肥胖人口比例迅速上升的现象。     

Asymmetric Information and Demand for Money in an Overlapping Generations Economy

This paper studies a pure exchange overlapping generations economy in which agents have asymmetric information pertaining to their income realizations. Such an information asymmetry introduces a role for fiat money that would otherwise be absent. This information asymmetry can also drastically alter the equilibrium properties of the analogous model with perfect information. In general, the more severe the information asymmetry, the greater the demand for fiat money.
