高校稳定是新时期国家发展战略的重要支撑,维护高校稳定工作的首要前提就是高校稳定机制的科学构建以及高校稳定系统的合理运行。对高校稳定机制的构成与构建原则和高校稳定系统的构成进行探讨,以期对当前高校的安全稳定工作提供帮助。

Towards Exchange Rate Stability?

At their recent meeting in Washington the Group of Seven reafirmed their desire to hold exchange rates at about their current level. In this Viewpoint we consider the prospects for success. We conclude that although current rates are feasible in terms of competitiveness, the system will remain under strain as long as there are major inconsistencies between jiscal policy in the US and the rest of the world. The present conjuncture of interest rates and inflation points to a further dollar depreciation. It would be better, in our view, to enact this quickly and to attempt to stabilize exchange rates at sustainable levels: the policy of holding the dollar is misguided.

Has Job Stability Declined?

A bstract There has recently been a great deal of interest in the question of whether job stability has declined in the United States. However, a satisfactory answer to this question has not been agreed upon. In this article, data from the Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID) are examined to bring new evidence to bear on the subject of job stability trends. Using these data, job retention rates for various groups of workers between 1976 and 1992 are calculated. Then, a series of models that relate individual and economic factors to job retention over this period are estimated. These analyses suggest a general but mild decline in job stability during the period. However, trends in job stability vary dramatically across different groups of workers. Most clearly, job stability fell precipitously for black men and fell for men who were high-school dropouts or who has completed some college.

路基稳定性数值分析

本文通过对常见的路基稳定性分析案例进行强度折减法的数值分析,为进一步研究这一方法在路基稳定性分析中的应用奠定基础。     

Stability of a crime level equilibrium

We consider crime level in an economic market with a supply of potential criminals. These criminals differ in their opportunity cost for committing crime, reflecting differences in the value of foregone opportunities such as performing productive labor. The realized demand is influenced by the expected value for crime, which depends on several socio-economic variables including wealth, police enforcement, and police arrest ability. After determining the equilibria level suggested by our approach, we propose a dynamic setup and study the stability of this system. Two critical enforcement levels are determined. Exceeding the lower enforcement threshold will push crime to stabilize (converge) to an equilibrium level. Correspondingly, exceeding the higher enforcement threshold will collapse the crime market to zero.     

宜兴公路Ⅱ号边坡稳定性分析

目前,边坡失稳的防治仍然是一项很艰巨的任务,对边坡的稳定性分析及处治技术进行深入研究具有重要的意义。本文详细介绍了宜兴公路边坡的工程概况,场地工程地质条件、岩土体的物理力学性质及其稳定性的分析和支护方案的设计。分析及计算证明,该边坡不符和稳定要求,需要进行支护,运用理正软件设计支护方案,本边坡支护设计方案在满足边坡稳定性的情况下兼顾降低工程造价以及支护工程施工的可行和方便。     

岩质路堑边坡稳定性分析

文章首先对岩质边坡稳定性分析方法进行解析,通过刚体极限平衡分析法中的Sarma法,对岩质路堑边坡进行了计算分析研究,对不同高度的岩石路堑边坡和不同边坡坡比,其挖方土体的强度指标c、φ值应取何值,才可以使计算岩质路堑边坡稳定安全系数Fs达到1.3,保证路堑边坡满足的安全和稳定性要求。并对路堑边坡稳定性的相关影响因素进行了探讨,获得了一些有益结论,对实际工程具有一定的指导意义。
