手机移动数据作为新数据源在旅游者研究中的应用探析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
本文介绍了手机移动数据源的生产原理和数据特征,即海量信息、实时数据、信息可靠性强和空间覆盖面广;并通过应用手机移动数据的国外旅游者案例研究综述,探讨了小样本和海量手机移动数据作为新数据源在旅游者研究中的应用.指出手机移动数据对旅游者基础研究和旅游者应用研究中的贡献,并将手机移动数据作为新数据源可能对旅游者研究带来的影响总结为科学化、精细化、过程化和个体化四大趋势.最后对手机移动数据源在信息方面和数据分析手段方面的局限性进行了思考.  相似文献

积极心理学是心理学研究的一个新思潮。它关注人类的积极品质,探索人类的美德,主张用开放的、欣赏的眼光去看待人类的潜能、动机和能力等。积极心理学不仅契合社会发展背景,而且迎合民众追求幸福的心理,因此其在学术研究和普通民众中的影响力日渐增加。在澳大利亚旅游心理学家菲利普·皮尔斯等(Philip Pearce,et al.)的引荐下,旅游学,一门致力于提升个人和社会的和谐发展与幸福指数的学科,也开始关注积极心理学的应用。文章首先阐述积极心理学的基本主张,注重条理化归纳,然后对积极心理学与旅游学的融合研究做重点述评,注重客观的应用性拓展研究介绍,最后结合国内外的研究现状和国内实情,认为积极心理学在旅游学研究中具有广泛的应用和提升空间,创新的核心是融合中国传统与当代文化,做有深度的研究。结合国内外研究现状,文章提出三个创新提升方向:关注旅游社区的居民福祉,聚焦旅游与游客个人发展、社会和谐的关系,关注日益庞大的老年旅游群体。  相似文献

旅游流是旅游研究的重点领域。当前,应用大数据技术对旅游流进行研究渐成趋势。本研究面向大数据应用视角下的旅游流研究前沿,以国际学术期刊发表的相关论文为研究对象,总结相关领域的研究进展,并提出研究展望。分析发现:(1)自2013年来,大数据应用视角下的旅游流研究呈快速发展态势,涉及旅游、管理、经济、信息技术等多个领域,成果呈多元化发展趋势。(2)基于关键词共现性网络分析,旅游流研究可划分为5个凝聚子集;研究主题方面,相关成果主要聚焦于旅游流的测量与刻画、旅游流的时空格局与效应、旅游流的影响因素及预测研究;应用数据方面,用户生成数据、设备数据、管理数据为主要数据源;研究方法方面,空间统计和分析法、网络分析法、模型构建法以及不同研究方法的交互融合是主要研究手段。(3)现有研究成果在主题、数据和方法等方面尚存在发展不平衡性,未来在研究主题拓展、大小数据融合、多学科方法集成等方面亟待继续探索和深化。  相似文献

本文首次采用文献计量分析方法对发表于1998~2007年之间SCIE、SSCI和A&HCI三大检索系统的3296篇以"旅游"为主题的论文进行文献定量研究,分别进行了学科类别、来源期刊统计,分年文献基本信息统计,分国家、地区文献统计,作者关键词分布与变动趋势统计.研究结论是近10年全球旅游研究具有多学科参与探讨,研究势头强劲,国际性视野拓展,热点问题活跃,"中国旅游现象"备受关注等进展情况,以期探索全球旅游研究的发展特征,并为国内旅游研究提供指引.  相似文献

互联网技术的快速发展正重新塑造着旅游者的行为模式.伴随着现代旅游者越来越倾向于使用社交媒体来支持旅游活动的各个环节,关注旅游者在社交媒体中的行为表现及其影响机制成为境外学者们关注的话题.通过对境外研究文献的系统化梳理和归纳,发现境外关于社交媒体时代旅游者行为研究处于快速发展阶段,研究内容主要聚焦于旅游者使用社交媒体的行为研究,社交媒体对旅游者信息搜寻行为、决策行为、信息分享行为的影响,用户生成内容作为数据源在旅游者行为研究中的应用.未来基于社交媒体的旅游者生成内容激励机制研究、旅游虚拟网络社会研究、目的地信息服务效率、数据获取与处理分析方面还有着广泛的研究空间.  相似文献

旅游作为一门跨多个学科领域的应用科学,其学科发展往往会涉及社会学、心理学、人类学、地理学等各相关学科的研究成果。而目前旅游学研究中具体实证研究有余而基础理论工作相对不足的局面已经阻碍了旅游学作为一个学科体系的确立、完善和向前发展。本文试对社会心理学中新兴的“社会表象理论”(Social Representation Theory)以及近年来国外学术界将该理论引入旅游学研究的基本情况作一个简单的介绍,以期能够为国内旅游学界的相关研究工作起到一点参考作用。  相似文献

信息时代和智慧旅游背景下,推动政府完善旅游数据的开放、管理与服务工作,将充分释放旅游大数据的商业价值与社会价值。文章基于政府数据开放评估指标体系,结合数据抓取与统计,从准备度、平台层、数据层、利用层4个维度对长三角、珠三角的5个省(副省)级数据开放平台的旅游数据开放现状进行评估。研究发现,5个平台可分为“高准备度+强数据层”复合模式、“强平台层”或“强利用层”单核驱动模式、“旅游数据开放”初级模式共3种开放状态;各平台均存在的问题包括数据质量要求模糊、主题目录缺失、数据集覆盖率低、应用成果产出少等。  相似文献

Internet techniques significantly influence the tourism industry and Internet data have been used widely used in tourism and hospitality research. However, reviews on the recent development of Internet data in tourism forecasting remain limited. This work reviews articles on tourism forecasting research with Internet data published in academic journals from 2012 to 2019. Then, the findings ae synthesized based on the following Internet data classifications: search engine, web traffic, social media, and multiple sources. Results show that among such classifications, search engine data are most widely incorporated into tourism forecasting. Time series and econometric forecasting models remain dominant, whereas artificial intelligence methods are still developing. For unstructured social media and multi-source data, methodological advancements in text mining, sentiment analysis, and social network analysis are required to transform data into time series for forecasting. Combined Internet data and forecasting models will help in improving forecasting accuracy further in future research.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

One hundred and five articles on social media in hospitality and tourism during 2004–2014 were identified from three databases and seven journals. Seven dimensions were used for analysis. Results indicated that social media research in hospitality and tourism is in its early stages with two turning points. The number of articles rose dramatically in 2010 and unexpectedly dropped in 2014. Research gaps are apparent in several industry sectors in topics beyond online reviews and in research methods, where literature reviews suffer from small numbers and few prominent researchers. The current study examines the importance of big data analytics (BDA) management capabilities, namely BDA planning, BDA investment, BDA coordination, and BDA control on sustainable tourism supply chain performance (STSCP). The study also explored the moderating role of technology orientation on BDA management capabilities' association with STSCP. Perceptual responses from 212 analytics professionals suggest BDA planning, BDA coordination, and BDA control as prominent enablers of sustainable tourism supply chain performance. Furthermore, technology orientation was found to enhance the contribution of BDA planning, BDA coordination, and BDA control as enablers.  相似文献

20世纪30年代以来,旅游社会学研究逐渐成为了一个旅游学与社会学交叉且备受关注和争议的领域,研究成果颇丰。文章综合考察了欧美英语国家旅游社会学文献,对西方旅游社会学研究进行大胆梳理,把西方旅游社会学研究大致划分为4个阶段,即(1)早期的起源阶段(“二战”以前);(2)过渡时期(“二战”后至20世纪60年代);(3)形成和发展时期(20世纪70~80年代);(4)系统经验研究时期(20世纪90年代至今)。认为,尽管学科地位仍受质疑,但随着旅游社会学研究范围的扩大、研究对象的明晰、研究内容的丰富、研究方法的成熟,旅游社会学研究进入了系统经验研究阶段,旅游社会学作为独立的研究领域毋庸置疑,旅游社会学作为广为接受的独立学科分支也指日可待。  相似文献

New sources of geotagged information derived from social media like Twitter show great promise for geographic research in tourism. This paper describes an approach to analyze geotagged social media data from Twitter to characterize spatial, temporal and demographic features of tourist flows in Cilento - a regional tourist attraction in southern Italy. It demonstrates how the analysis of geotagged social media data yields more detailed spatial, temporal and demographic information of tourist movements, in comparison to the current understanding of tourist flows in the region. The insights obtained from our case study illustrate the potential of the proposed methodology yet attention should be paid to biases in the data as well as methodological limitations when drawing conclusions from analytical results.  相似文献

The concept of cruise tourism should be examined given the rapid growth of this segment of travel worldwide. Rapid increases in cruise tourists and port construction have been observed in China, but systematic research on cruise tourism in China remains unavailable. Hence, this study conducts a thorough review of cruising studies published in top English tourism and hospitality journals and eminent Chinese journals. A content analysis of 62 cruising studies in English and 26 cruising-related articles in Chinese identifies trends in research and methodology and the differences between English and Chinese cruise tourism literature. Significant research topics and methodology trends are discussed and future research directions are also presented.  相似文献

In view of the rapid development of eTourism in mainland China (hereafter known as China) and the resulting proliferation of academic research in this area, this study reviews 1,153 articles published in the Chinese-language literature, relating to the topic and published in the past 17 years. Using a content analysis approach and drawing on a wide variety of sources, including articles in scholarly journals, conference proceedings, and postgraduate dissertations, this study analyzes research trends and authors' contributions to the Chinese eTourism literature. Moreover, it critically reviews and discusses the limitations of the analyzed articles, and suggests directions for future research. These findings contribute to a better understanding of what researchers have previously done on China's eTourism research in the Chinese-language literature over the past 17 years.  相似文献

This study puts to empirical test a major typology in the tourism literature, mass versus special interest tourism (SIT), as the once-distinctive boundary between the two has become blurry in modern tourism scholarship. We utilize 41,747 geo-located Instagram photos pertaining to the 2017 Great American Solar Eclipse and Big Data analytics to distinguish tourists based on their choice of observational destinations and spatial movement patterns. Two types of tourists are identified: opportunists and hardcore. The motivational profile of those tourists is validated with the external data through hypothesis testing and compared with and contrasted against existing motivation-based tourist typologies. The main conclusion is that large share of tourists involved in what is traditionally understood as SIT activities exhibit behavior and profile characteristic of mass tourists seeking novelty but conscious about risks and comforts. Practical implications regarding the potential of rural and urban destinations for developing SIT tourism are also discussed.  相似文献

The expansion of international tourism in developing countries is generally considered to promote their economic development. In this paper, the impact of international tourism on economic development is modelled using an aggregate production function framework. It specifically investigates intersectoral externalities and marginal factor productivity differences between the international tourism sector and the rest of the economy. The net effect of international tourism on GDP per capita is examined via an empirical analysis of 37 developing economies. The results indicate that international tourism may positively affect economic development in these countries.  相似文献
