Study on the Efficiency of Fund Allocation of Listed Companies in the Process of Industrial Structure Adjustment

Through the analysis of the accomplishment of trade fund allocation and industrial structure adjustment, we find there are big differences in the efficiency of using the trade fund of listed companies. It is very important to optimize the trade allocation of the fund. As to the efficiency of allocating the trade funds, the two indexes, trade competition and enterprises technology have the strong instructive meaning. And the trade assets with characters of resource monopoly and consumption particularity are used most effectively. While promoting the industrial structure adjustment of listed companies in the future, we should consider the competitive situation of the trade and the technological situations of enterprises in the companies＇ access and in the fund allocation sufficiently. This paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems of the unreasonable allocation of trade fund in companies coming into market, the low effect of the use of the whole fund in listed companies, etc.     

An empirical examination of the disaggregated import demand of Korea—the case of information technology products

This article presents an empirical analysis of the import demand for certain information technology products in Korea. These products have been recognized as essential for further economic growth in Korea, as the Korean government aims to transform the economy into one based on information technology. The unrestricted error correction model is used to derive the long run price and income elasticities of import demand, considering the small sample size. The price elasticities are revealed to be quite high in all cases, implying that lowering of the tariff rates would increase the import of those products substantially.

Research on the Seemingly Incompatible Phenomenon of China ——The Coexistence of the Shortage of Peasant Workers and the Difficulty in Employment

In order to answer the questions： ＂Why does the shortage of peasant workers occur in China while there is a serious surplus of labor force？ What is the influence it will bring about on the inland labor market especially on the exports of labor force in poor regions and the poverty-reduction policies of China？, this paper carries out lots of investigations both in major manufacturing centers such as Wenzhou, Suzhou, Dongguan and in big labor-exports provinces such as Hunan and Sichuan, on the basis of analysis on the supply and demand of labor force in China, the paper analyzes the regional distribution pattern of the labor market and its changes, and then thoroughly explores the cause of the seemingly incompatible phenomenon--the coexistence of the shortage of peasant workers and the difficulty in employment, finally, some suggestions are put forward on the poverty -reduction of China.

Reforming the Financial Health Care System： The Case of the Republic of Albania

The Albanian health care system is currently in a period of deep transformation as well as the country is reflecting the future reforms after the turbulent development of the most recent years. The admission of Albania among future members of the European Union requires also an innovation in the health care system in order to build a model more compliant with the European performance and standards. These innovations are required also in the managerial approach to the health care and in its financing system. The aim of this paper is to analyze the actual financing model of the Albanian health care sector while highlighting the possible future managerial development. First of all, this article presents a history review of the Albanian health-care system, analyzing the current governance model. The goal of this approach is to describe the starting point of the reform paths for the future policy makers. Afterwards the research underlines the transition from a financing model based on historical public expenditure to a system based on the performance as one of the main innovation in the managerial approach to the health care. The introduction of management thinking will then allow developing a cost-based financing model, an accounting system in the teaching hospital and, finally, a financing system able to pay for services provided by private health care entities. The article then offers also a contribution to policy makers in order to define the ＂paths＂ of the Albanian health care system in the next years.
