OS/390中JES2与FTP接口的应用

Forecasting recoveries in debt collection: Debt collectors and information production

Recent theoretical work suggests that debt collection agencies play an important role in gathering and processing debtor information. We study a comprehensive data set with information provided by original creditors and information gathered in third‐party debt collection. In line with the theoretical results, the initial information is sparse and the gathered information is essential for better‐informed predictions.

z/OS中JES2子系统接口的应用及出口程序设计

在日常系统维护中，尤其在测试或准生产的主机环境下，系统人员对主控台的监控可能不够及时，使得某些系统产生的重要应答不能及时得到响应，从而可能会导致主机系统的等待，影响测试进度。本文结合实例说明及时获知并应答主控台信息的重要性，并介绍如何利用z／OS提供的JES2子系统接口编写出口程序，将控制台信息及时发送给某系统用户，使之及时响应。     

Trade and the revelation of information through prices and direct disclosure

This article analyzes the volume of trade in a multiperiod noisyrational expectations model. When traders receive private signalsat the first trading date and are allowed a second round oftrade, two type of equilibria exist. In the first, traders donot learn about the average private signal from the second roundof trade, and all trade takes place at the first date. In thesecond, traders do learn from the second round, and trade thustakes places at both the first and second dates. The articlecharacterizes volume when a public signal is disclosed at thesecond date.     

Advertising and attachment: exploiting loss aversion through prepurchase information

We analyze a monopolist's optimal advertising strategy when consumers are expectation‐based loss‐averse and uncertain about their individual match value with the product. Advertising provides verifiable match value information. It modifies the consumers' reference point and hence their willingness to pay for the product. We show that the optimal advertising strategy pools different consumer types so that some consumers engage in ex ante unfavorable trade. Incomplete informative advertising thus has a persuasive effect. This provides a rationale for policies that force the monopolist to disclose important product characteristics, not only at the point of sale, but also in all promotional materials.
