财政政策：重塑公平分配新格局

中国当前贫富差距急剧扩大,根本原因在于初次分配领域存在一系列不公正现象。财政政策作为国民收入再分配的手段,应起到很好的校正作用并使国民收入初次分配格局得以规范,以实现公平分配的目标。财政政策在调节收入差距中失利主要是由税收政策调节收入差距不利、社会保障体制不完善、财政支出结构不合理、税收返还和转移支付制度的不规范等原因造成的,政府应采取相应的政策措施进行有效地调控。     

Marketing research and revenue optimization for the cruise industry: A concise review

This paper presents a concise review of the cruise industry mainly from marketing research and revenue optimization prospects. In recent years, the cruise industry has experienced an exciting growth. However, as one of the fastest growing and most profitable categories in the entire leisure market, this industry has hardly received any research attention. Given the limited academic articles, this paper presents a concise review about this budding research topic. First of all, a discussion about global cruise industry is conducted. Then, academic studies of the cruise industry on general marketing research, revenue management, itinerary design/optimization, optimal market segmentation, demand infiltration and economic issues are reviewed. Finally, some promising directions for future research are presented.     

新常态下中国能源供给侧改革:国际借鉴与路径探究

能源供给侧改革是适应"新常态"下中国低碳经济发展的重要举措。文章从产能严重过剩、能源结构高污染不合理、能源产业体系高能耗低效率、能源安全压力日增4个方面阐述了中国能源供给侧改革的紧迫性。结合我国实际情况,以美、英、日在能源供给侧改革的经验,总结了中国煤炭、石油、天然气和新能源等领域的供给侧改革重点和政策借鉴。从建立现代能源体系、强化政府引导作用、增强创新发展能力和深化能源市场监管体系4个方面对新常态下中国能源供给侧改革的实现路径提出了建议。     

Product variety,sourcing complexity,and the bottleneck of coordination

Research summary: This paper studies the coordination burden for firms that pursue variety as their main product strategy. We propose that product variety magnifies the tension between scale economies in production and scope economies in distribution, giving rise to complex sourcing relationships. Sourcing complexity worsens performance and poses a dilemma for organization design: A hierarchical structure with intermediate coordinating units such as sourcing hubs reduces sourcing complexity for downstream distribution but creates bottlenecks at the hubs, hurting performance for both the hubs and downstream distribution. We empirically examine operations data for about 300 distribution centers within a major soft drink bottling company in 2010–2011. Results support our hypotheses, illuminating the source of complexity in multi‐product firms and the challenge for organization design in managing complexity. Managerial summary: This paper uses data for about 300 distribution centers within a major soft drink bottling company to study how a large product variety creates complex sourcing networks. We find that, in addition to poor performance (e.g., increased stockouts), complex sourcing networks can cause challenges for organization design. In particular, the benefits of converting an existing distribution center into a sourcing hub (i.e., reduction in sourcing complexity for downstream distribution) and the costs of doing so (i.e., reduction in performance for both the hubs and downstream distribution) are both real and significant. The design of an efficient sourcing network despite its complexity involves important managerial decisions. Experiences in building and managing such networks can be the basis of a dynamic capability. © 2016 The Authors. Strategic Management Journal published by John Wiley & Sons Ltd.     

At‐home meat consumption in China: an empirical study*

The remarkable economic changes occurring within China since 1978 have resulted in a striking alteration in food consumption patterns, and one marked change is the increasing consumption of meat. Given China’s large population, a small percentage change in per capita meat consumption could lead to a dramatic impact on the production and trade of agricultural products. Such changes have major implications for policy makers and food marketers. This paper concentrates on meat consumption patterns in the home in China. A censored linear approximate almost ideal demand system model was employed in the study, and major economic parameters were estimated for different meat items. Data used in this study were collected from two separate consumer surveys – one urban and one rural in 2005.
