我国中小企业技术创新存在的问题及其对策

在对技术创新及其基本特征研究的基础上，分析了我国中小企业技术创新的现状及其存在的问题，并提出了从加强企业多主体的合作和构建适当的激励机制两方面来提高我国中小企业技术创新水平的苦干建议和对策。     

森工企业经济责任审计现状与创新的思考

随着经济责任审计工作的深入开展,使经济责任审计工作在党政领导干部队伍建设和选拔任用干部中的作用显得越来越重要。结合森工企业经济责任审计由于资源性、体制性、结构性、社会性矛盾所带来的一系列问题,提出建立森林资产审计评价机制、建立森林生态效益审计评价指标体系的方法、森工企业经济责任审计风险的防范措施和运用森工企业经济责任审计成果思路的基础上,指出了只有在开展经济责任审计的过程中坚持标本兼治、以森林资产审计为核心、有效防范审计风险、转化和利用审计成果,才能充分发挥经济责任审计在森工企业经济发展中的重要作用,不断树立经济责任审计的权威,最大限度地提高经济责任审计的质量。     

INFORMED TRADING RISK AND BID-ASK SPREAD CHANGES AROUND OPEN MARKET STOCK REPURCHASES IN THE NASDAQ MARKET

Microstructure theory contends that dealers' bid-ask spreads should vary intertemporally with changes in the asymmetric information component of the spread. Corporate theory suggests that stock repurchase announcements signal management's private information to the securities markets. An examination of dealers' spread behavior around firms' open market repurchases in the NASDAQ market reveals a decline in spreads adjusted for dealers' inventory-holding and order-processing costs. This decline is attributed to a reduction in informed trading risk associated with the open market repurchase announcements.     

Inflation-induced adaptive behavior

Periods of rapidly rising prices are seen by many as cyclical and pervasive phenomena in modern day economic systems. When rapid price increases occur, they are likely to induce adaptive behavior on the part of consumers. This article reports on a study seeking to analyze consumer inflation-induced adaptive behavior as it relates to three food-related consumer activities–food buying, preparation, and consumption. Results indicate that consumers, in general, attempt to adjust to the changing economic environment in several ways: they exercise more care and planning in food shopping, are more price sensitive and price conscious, are willing to sacrifice convenience but not quality, and try to maintain their usual level of food consumption and food habits. Results also indicate that inflation leads to greater adaptive behavior on the part of lower income consumers.     

Remarks on the strong law of large numbers for a triangular array of associated random variables

A strong law of large numbers for a triangular array of strictly stationary associated random variables is proved. It is used to derive the pointwise strong consistency of kernel type density estimator of the one-dimensional marginal density function of a strictly stationary sequence of associated random variables, and to obtain an improved version of a result by Van Ryzin (1969) on the strong consistency of density estimator for a sequence of independent and identically distributed random variables.

本文从宪法对纳税人的基本要求、公共行政理论与建立服务型政府的目标、西方的税收理论和实践、为纳税人服务体系的基础地位、中国税收征管的实际情况等角度进行分析和论证,认为纳税服务应该是税务机关的首要任务。     

保额及费率的异常变化对财产保险经营的影响

近年来，随着市场竞争态势的加剧，我国财产保险市场保额和费率呈现异常变动态势，再保险公司的稳健经营、保险市场的竞争秩序、政府的监督管理及消费者利益的维护带来一系列负面影响。为改变这种状况，从宏观上政府监管机构应强化监管，行业协会应发挥好引导、协调、监督作用。大力加强全社会诚信体系建设；从微观层面上保险公司应加强内控管理、强化风险意识、削减经营成本、培育创新能力，建立一套完整的费率实施和管理体系。     

REGULARITIES IN TOKYO STOCK EXCHANGE SECURITY RETURNS: P/E,SIZE, AND SEASONAL INFLUENCES

Regularities in risk-adjusted returns for securities listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) are examined in this study. A significant price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio effect is documented for the first time for a non-U.S. market, the TSE. Significant interactions between the P/E effect and the previously documented size and seasonal effects for the TSE are also documented. These results imply that studies of TSE companies must account for these return regularities and that explanations for such effects observed for U.S. and other markets that are based on some unique aspect of these markets are likely to be inadequate.     

Engines of Liberation

Electricity was born at the dawn of the last century. Households were inundated with a flood of new consumer durables. What was the impact of this consumer durable goods revolution? It is argued here that the consumer goods revolution was conducive to liberating women from the home. To analyse this hypothesis, a Beckerian model of household production is developed. Households must decide whether or not to adopt the new technologies, and whether a married woman should work. Can such a model help to explain the rise in married female labour-force participation that occurred in the last century? Yes.
