基于MapInfo的土地利用现状图符号库的设计与实现

MapInfo系统自带的符号库不能满足我国各种比例尺土地利用现状图的需要,通过分析MapInfo符号的建库原理和方法,同时结合土地利用现状图符号的特点,采用实验的方法解决符号制作的尺寸规律问题,设计、开发了满足国标要求的土地利用现状图符号库,并用实例对符号库的应用做了分析与探讨.

国有企业历来重视青年职工的思想政治工作,这种优良的传统,使企业形成一种可持续发展的精神动力。然而,随着时代的变迁,传统的思想政治教育方式已逐渐丧失了吸引力。因此,如何创新国有企业青年思想政治工作方法,成为广大政工干部必须面对的问题。需要针对青年职工的思想特点,来开展思想政治工作,充分发挥思想政治工作的服务和保证作用。     

由清洁发展机制引发的对环境产业的冷思考

环境问题受到世界各国关注,清洁发展机制的产生,碳交易的出现以及碳市场的蓬勃发展,是国际社会在环境问题解决上共同探索出来的一种模式,成为环境问题解决途径的一大突破。文章从经济学角度探究环境产业化的原因,分析其合理性,并结合环境产业发展的趋势为我国今后如何大力发展该产业提供一定的参考。     

The cultural tourism potential of a fashion-related exhibition – the case of Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty at the Victoria and Albert Museum

The exhibition Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty held at the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) in London attracted a total number of 493,043 visitors from both the UK and overseas, making it one of the most visited exhibitions throughout the museum’s history. Much of the exhibition’s popularity was drawn from the late designer’s fame, reputation, and exceptional technique in design and clothing construction. The V&A museum also having the title as the greatest Museum of decorative arts and design, and founded during the late Victorian era, possesses heritage value that may also have played a role in attracting visitors to the Savage Beauty exhibition. Findings suggest that Savage Beauty appeals more on the local cultural tourism context for its connection to London. The V&A’s heritage value as Grade I listed may be of minimal interest to tourists; however, visitor interest in London and the number of great museums in the city serves well enough to attract and enrich cultural awareness of potential tourists both local and international. Special exhibitions such as Savage Beauty may also prove effective in attracting tourists, leading to increasing cultural tourism once tourists learn more about London’s culture, which includes fashion, but only in a derivative sense.     

依靠科技创新促进河北沿海区域经济发展的对策

受科技创新滞后影响,河北沿海区域经济同发达省份比较还存在不小差距,表现在经济发展模式落后,产业结构失调,对外贸易及开放程度不够等方面。应构建科技创新与河北沿海区域经济协调发展的对策体系,以科技创新促进产业结构调整,打造新区域经济增长极,以沿海港口为依托,发挥临港产业集群的龙头作用,培育新的示范区域,实现沿海区域经济提速发展。     

How do international joint ventures create shareholder value?

This study attempts to identify conditions under which announcements of international joint venture (JV) formation lead to increases in shareholder value of participating U.S. firms. It does so by combining the singular theoretical foci of previous work on the topic and specifying previously unconsidered, but conceptually important, influences on firms' expected JV performance. The study's findings indicate support for the hypothesized effect of variables in partners' task‐related, competitive, and structural context(s), but not those in these firms' partner‐related and institutional context(s). Specifically, partner–venture business relatedness, the pursuit of R&D‐oriented activity, greater equity ownership, and large firm size, all are found to have a positive impact on firms' JV‐based value creation. Although this study finds support for the performance impact of firm‐level competition, the direction of this impact is contrary to that hypothesized. No support is found for hypothesized effect of partner–partner business relatedness, previous JV experience, partners' relative firm size, (national) cultural relatedness, and JV host country political risk.
