中国货物贸易出口量的影响因素--基于引力模型的极值边界分析

对外贸易是拉动经济增长的三驾马车之一,我国出口贸易对经济的增长作用一直非常显著,因此对贸易出口量影响因素的深入研究十分必要。本文依据国际贸易理论,对贸易“引力模型”进行扩展,引入极值边界分析方法（Extreme Bounds Analysis , EBA ）,采用2003～2012年省际区域面板数据,对我国货物贸易出口量的影响因素进行实证检验,得出的结论是各省外商直接投资、进口额、工业产值、固定资产投资、税收收入、最终消费是我国货物贸易出口量的“稳健性（Robest ）”影响因素,并据此提出促进对外贸易发展相关政策建议。

低成本扩张战略是企业快速发展壮大的一种重要途径。近年来,随着国内经济的快速发展,能源和资源供求矛盾不断突出,各地政府承担的节能减排压力日益增加,迫切要求在保护环境的前提下,扩大能源和资源的供给量,缓解供需矛盾。通过运用五种力量模型、SWOT模型、现金流量分析等方法,对热锗联产和延迟焦化两个项目进行全方位分析和综合评估,可以看出,延迟焦化项目内外部环境比较有利于项目的实施,其优势明显大于劣势,机遇大于威胁,项目实施可行性较强。     

Corporate ownership structure and bank loan syndicate structure

Using a novel data set on corporate ownership and control, we show that the divergence between the control rights and cash-flow rights of a borrowing firm's largest ultimate owner has a significant impact on the concentration and composition of the firm's loan syndicate. When the control-ownership divergence is large, lead arrangers form syndicates with structures that facilitate enhanced due diligence and monitoring efforts. These syndicates tend to be relatively concentrated and composed of domestic banks that are geographically close to the borrowing firms and that have lending expertise related to the industries of the borrowers. We also examine factors that influence the relation between ownership structure and syndicate structure, including lead arranger reputation, prior lending relationship, borrowing firm informational opacity, presence of multiple large owners, laws and institutions, and financial crises.

Who Gains from Boycotts? A Welfare Analysis of Consumer Activism

This paper explores the welfare consequences of product boycotts by linking product and labor markets. Consumers' threat of boycott can affect the firm's decision such as production location, size of operation and wage rate. Such conscientious action, however, can actually result in a welfare loss of the workers of concern as well as consumers themselves. The analysis suggests that consumers set their goals by studying the labor market and coordinating with local groups rather than demanding what may seem righteous.
