跨国公司理论范式之变:从垄断优势到寻求创造性资产

自海默提出垄断优势理论到邓宁折衷范式的形成,跨国公司理论虽然流派纷呈,但其基本的分析框架都是以垄断优势为核心,将跨国公司对外直接投资视为利用其现有优势的过程。跨国公司的发展促进了跨国公司理论的创新。20世纪90年代以来,理论界开始关注以寻求创造性资产为目标的对外直接投资的发展,形成了一系列有影响的研究成果。以寻求创造性资产为目标的对外直接投资成为跨国公司国际扩展的主要特征。这意味着跨国公司对外直接投资不仅是利用其特定优势的过程,而是建立新的优势的过程。创造性资产的分析视角突破了折衷范式的分析框架,对跨国公司理论的未来发展必将产生深远影响。     

跨国银行监管理论的新进展

金融市场的统一趋势及其监管范围的不断扩展,引发了银行监管的国际协调问题。跨国银行主要以分行或子行的形式开展国际业务,组织结构的差异同时带来了银行监管方面的差异。本文探讨了跨国银行监管与组织结构的关系,并对国际上关于跨国银行监管理论的最新研究成果进行了综述。随着我国银行业的全面对外开放,跨国银行监管会越来越凸显其重要的现实意义。     

不完全信息下跨国兼并模型分析

本文主要通过对不完全信息跨国兼并模型的分析,发现如果没有政府干预,外国企业只要具有成本上的优势,跨国兼并的发生是不可避免的。其中不完全信息并不是市场实现兼并的障碍,而政府在维护、平衡市场兼并效率和社会福利的关系方面中扮演着重要角色。     

废弃家用电器与电子产品的处理和利用

概述了我国废弃家用电器与电子产品产生现状及趋势，分析了其环境危害性，指出了目前无序回收处理存在污染环境、浪费资源等问题，提出了政策法规引导、规范化管理、生产者责任延伸、电子电器产品绿色采购及工艺技术研发等措施，并结合国内实际，设计了具有可行性的电子废物资源化处理工艺技术路线。

Estimating the economic value of big game habitat production from prescribed fire using a time series approach

This paper demonstrates a time-series production technique to quantify the deer harvest and deer hunting benefits of controlled burns or prescribed fire. The time series regression model showed a statistically significant and positive effect of prescribed fire on deer harvest. The net economic value of the resulting additional deer hunting benefit was estimated using the Contingent Valuation Method at $ 98 per additional deer harvested. The initial deer hunting benefits of an additional 1,000 acres of prescribed burning are between $ 2,674 and $ 3,128 or $ 2-3 per acre. The costs of prescribed burning greatly exceed these benefits, suggesting that deer hunting benefits represent only a small part of the multiple use benefits of prescribed fire.

EFFECTS OF INFLATION ON CAPITAL STRUCTURE

The purpose of this study is to examine the aggregate capital structure based on several factors that affect the demand for and supply of corporate debt. The main hypotheses are that under inflation the larger the amount of depreciation and the larger the yield differences between corporate and municipal bonds and between corporate bonds and equities, the larger the amount of corporate debt. The empirical tests performed in this study support these hypotheses.
