城市化进程中失地农民的权益保障——基于马克思地租理论的思考

土地是农民工作和生活的重要场所和生存基础,拥有土地是农民与社会其他人群相区别的一个重要特征,也是农村家庭的核心秉性。由于城市建设的步伐加快,由于各地经济加速发展,需要征占农民的土地,一部分农民因此失去了土地。在城市化进程中失地农民的权益保障成为构建和谐社会的一个重要问题。马克思的地租理论以劳动人民的根本利益为出发点,阐述了地租的产生及其最终的归属和分配问题,可以为保障我国失地农民权益问题提供理论指导。

与货币理论相比,新近发展起来的价格水平决定的财政理论是更为一般的价格理论,所提政策建议具有优势.文章作者在详尽阐述了财政理论的代表性人物Woodford政策建议的理论依据的基础上,报告了国际学术界的分歧并表明了自己的立场,即在正常时期,更倾向于积极型货币政策和局部李嘉图政策的搭配,而在非正常时期,则倾向于被动型货币政策和非李嘉图政策的搭配.但是,如果在正常时期,利率上调受到限制,那么政策组合应是被动型货币政策与非李嘉图政策的组合.     

Knowledge complementarity,knowledge absorption effectiveness,and new product performance: The exploration of international joint ventures in China

Firms use international joint ventures (IJVs) to access and learn from partners’ knowledge and thus enhance their new product performance, especially when the partners have complementary knowledge bases. Most of the existing literature assumes that knowledge complementarity can directly lead to enhanced new product performance, while ignoring the mediating role of knowledge absorption effectiveness and moderating effects of organizational structure and organizational culture to integrate and manage knowledge complementarity. Using dyadic data from 119 IJVs in China, this article suggests that knowledge complementarity influences IJV new product performance through the full mediation of knowledge absorption effectiveness. Also, the results suggest that an IJV's departmentalization of organizational structure significantly hurts the effect of knowledge complementarity on knowledge absorption effectiveness, while a strong learning culture of the IJV can significantly enhance such effects.     

The Yonmenkaigi System Method: An Implementation-Oriented Group Decision Support Approach

The Yonmenkaigi System Method (YSM) is presented as a participatory method to support group decision making. It is composed of four main steps: conducting a SWOT analysis, completing the Yonmenkaigi chart, debating, and presenting the group’s action plan. The YSM is an implementation and collaboration-oriented approach that incorporates the synergistic process of mutual learning, decision making and capacity building. It fosters small and modest breakthrough and/or innovative strategy development. The YSM addresses the issues of resource management and mobilization as well as effective involvement and commitment by participants and provides a strategic communication platform for participants. A case study for developing a disaster reduction action plan, carried out with a local community organization in the City of Kyoto, Japan, is used to demonstrate the characteristics of the YSM.

Systemic Risk,Financial Crisis,and Credit Risk Insurance

Differing from conventional insurance firms whose underwriting business does not contribute to systemic risk, credit risk insurance companies providing credit protections for debt obligations are exposed to systemic risk. We show that credit risk insurers (CRIs) underperformed conventional insurance companies during the 2007–2009 financial crisis, and such underperformance is attributed to the greater systemic risk of CRIs. We also find that the credit spreads of insured bonds increase significantly after their insurers are downgraded or put in the negative watch list. We control for alternative factors affecting bond credit spreads and the result is robust.
