Economic Globalization and Inflation in China: A Multivariate Approach

This paper evaluates whether globalization has increased the role of global factors in driving inflation in China. Unlike other published studies on the relationship between globalization and inflation, which mostly use Phillips curve models, this paper uses multivariate dynamic models to examine the dynamic interactions between globalization and inflation in China. Empirical results with quarterly data spanning from 1995 to 2012 show that the global output gap significantly affects the dynamics of inflation in China. In particular, the global output gap is superior to the domestic output gap in predicting domestic inflation. Impulse response and variance decomposition analyses reinforce this finding. Our results indicate that the central bank of China should take developments in global output into account in its monetary policy‐making process.     

Exploring sentiment-driven trading behaviour of different types of investors in the London office market

We investigates the sentiment-driven trading behaviour of the four types of investors in the London office market, i.e. UK institutional investors, UK private investors, UK listed real estate companies/Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)s and overseas investors. In addition, we examine the relationship between investor sentiment and property performance. Related indices are calculated to examine the existence of herding behaviour of different investors. We find that UK private investors follow a contrarian strategy to UK institutional investors and listed real estate companies/REITs and enter/exit the market at different points of time. UK institutional investors tend to follow the sentiment of UK listed real estate companies/REITs and overseas investors with lags. There is no evidence that overseas investors rely upon the sentiment of UK specialised property investors in their decision-making. We find the sentiment of different investors is influenced differently by market fundamentals. Yield and rental growth rate have significant impact on trading activity of overseas investors, but not on other investors. The stock market return and securitised real estate return have significant impact on the trading activity of UK institutional investor and overseas investor, but have no significant influence on the trading behaviour of UK private investor and listed real estate company/REIT.

股权结构特征与困境公司恢复——基于中国上市公司的实证分析

股权结构是公司治理结构的重要组成部分,它对于陷入困境的公司尽快得以恢复具有不容忽视的作用.本文利用我国上市公司的数据,选取1998～2002年期间被ST的公司为样本,依据被ST两年后的摘帽情况将这些公司分为摘帽与没有摘帽两组,比较这两组公司的股权结构特征.研究结果表明,高级管理人员持股比例较高、第一大股东持股比例较高有利于公司摘帽,控股股东为国有股性质时摘帽的可能性也较大.另外,负债越多越不利于公司摆脱困境.     

基于Petri网的钢铁企业原料供应物流优化

分析了钢铁企业原料供应物流优化的重要性,利用Petri网建模方法和Arena仿真软件对原料到达入库的物流系统进行了分析并提出了优化措施。     

我国货币政策对房价作用时滞的实证分析

本文应用向量自回归模型的脉冲响应函数和预测方差分解的方法．对我国货币政策影响房价的外部时滞进行分析。利用2004年1月至2008年6月的月度数据测算出的结果是：信贷规模、狭义货币供应量和利率对房价的作用时滞分别为7个月、3个月和11个月。信贷规模和利率水平度对房价的冲击效应较小。而货币供应量对房价的冲击效应较为明显。央行在制定货币政策时应综合考虑货币工具的特点、作用时滞、经济形势和理性预期的影响。     

战略投资者、公司治理与银行绩效——对中国城市商业银行的实证研究

基于中国8家城市商业银行的数据,采用截面数据和序列数据相结合的方法,对战略投资者参与中国城市商业银行治理的理论机理及其影响城市商业银行绩效的途径进行的分析表明:境外战略投资者可以促进城市商业银行改善公司治理,从而提升中国城市商业银行的绩效;国有股权比例与银行盈利性、第一大股东持股比例与银行资本充足率、董事会规模与银行盈利性均成负相关关系;股权集中度对银行盈利性和安全性均成正相关关系;管理层介入董事会比例对银行的盈利性和安全性的影响都不显著;独立董事比例对银行的盈利性有很强的正面影响。

创业板上市公司经济绩效及影响因素

研究目标：探讨创业板上市公司经济绩效的影响因素。研究方法：基于2012~2014年创业板上市公司的面板数据,运用贝叶斯模型平均法进行实证分析。研究发现：当期及滞后一期R&D强度对经济绩效存在显著负向影响,而R&D交互作用对经济绩效具有显著正向影响;经营现金流状况、总资产周转率对经济绩效具有显著正向影响;当期广告强度只对权益报酬率具有较显著正向影响。研究创新：第一,选择商品经营、资产经营与资本经营等三个方面的经济绩效指标,分别从R&D创新、广告营销、营运管理等方面探讨经济绩效的影响因素,拓展了研究视角;第二,运用贝叶斯模型平均法研究经济绩效的影响因素,估计结果更加稳健可信,具有方法的新颖性和有效性。研究价值：本文结论对改善创业板公司的创新和经营策略具有较强的现实意义。
