“泛珠三角”区域经济协调发展机制的构建——以欧盟区域协调为启示

经济全球化和区域经济一体化是当今世界经济发展的两大趋势,"泛珠三角"一体化将进一步发挥珠三角的区域聚集和扩散效应,提升区域竞争力,实现区域可持续发展。但目前"泛珠三角"区域一体化仍面临很多突出问题,区域整合仍是一大难题。欧盟是目前世界范围内区域经济一体化范围最大、程度最高的地区,对促进我国"泛珠三角"区域一体化发展具有重要的借鉴意义。本文分析了"泛珠三角"一体化面临的问题,对欧盟区域协调机制进行了介绍,并探讨了欧盟区域协调经验对"泛珠三角"一体化的启示。     

商业招牌的景观现状与设计策略——以南京路步行街61家商业企业为例

招牌作为企业的标志,起到树立企业文化、表现企业精神及吸引消费者等目的。本文通过对南京路步行街61家企业商铺招牌的放置形式、字体、主色调和招牌质地的研究分析,提出放置形式的多样化、字体选择的“企业化”、质地材料的新颖化和色彩表现的情感化等招牌设计策略,以期达到进一步丰富商业街的景观文化、美化城市的目的。     

A hybrid parallel genetic algorithm for yard crane scheduling

This paper aims at postulating a novel strategy in terms of yard crane scheduling. In this study, a dynamic scheduling model using objective programming for yard cranes is initially developed based on rolling-horizon approach. To resolve the NP-complete problem regarding the yard crane scheduling, a hybrid algorithm, which employs heuristic rules and parallel genetic algorithm (PGA), is then employed. Then a simulation model is developed for evaluating this approach. Finally, numerical experiments on a specific container terminal yard are used for system illustration. Computational results suggest that the proposed method is able to solve the problem efficiently.     

Chemical Fiber： Better lhan Expected

According to China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, during the first half year of 2014, China＇s chemical fiber output has been keeping steady, the benefit has been turning better in comparison to the first quarter of this year, the new production of polyester amounted to 2.62 million tons, upstream suffered imbalance between supply and demand, and some large enterprises have been afflicted with capital chain issues etc. The association forecasts annual production will reach 43500 thousand tons, up by 6% roughly, the gross profit will increase over last year and the operational quality will improve.     

Conceptualising consumers’ word-of-mouth behaviour intention: evidence from a university education services in Malaysia

The aim of this study is to propose a theoretical model to examine consumer word-of-mouth (WOM) behavioural intention in Malaysian education services. The results from a survey of 247 respondents indicate that servicescape, service recovery, service quality and satisfaction significantly affect consumers’ intention to engage in WOM behaviour. The results support majority of the hypothesized relationships, suggesting that servicescape and service recovery function as antecedents, directly affecting consumer perceptions of education service quality. The analytical results also demonstrate that perceived service quality positively affects satisfaction, which subsequently induces consumers’ behavioural intentions. Consistent with previous empirical studies, our findings suggest that satisfaction is a super-ordinate construct with a positive relation to behavioural intention, and significantly mediates the effect of service quality on the intention to engage in WOM behaviour. The insignificant direct effect from service quality to WOM further suggests the role of satisfaction as a complete mediator in the university education service setting. Implications for future research are discussed and limitations noted.

绩效管理需要持续改进。不论对于组织绩效还是个人绩效,绩效计划的优劣都直接影响绩效管理的最终结果。因此,绩效管理的难点在于绩效计划的制定。笔者以宁波港股份有限公司为例,着重探讨港口企业绩效计划的改进。

本文通过对日伪统治时期东北沦陷区文学的考察,对东北作家文学创作中的复仇问题进行整理后,将东北沦陷区文学中与复仇相关的作品作为主要研究对象,对其文学的主要内涵从继承古代复仇文学与五.四新文学创作的角度进行阐释。     

Come Rain or Shine: Evidence on Flood Insurance Purchases in Florida

This article provides a detailed analysis of the operation of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) in Florida, which accounts for 40 percent of the NFIP portfolio. We study the demand for flood insurance with a data set of more than 7.5 million NFIP policies‐in‐force (the largest ever studied) for the years 2000–2005, as well as all NFIP claims filed in Florida. We answer four questions: What are the characteristics of the buyers of flood insurance? What types of contracts (deductibles and coverage levels) are purchased? What are the determinants of claims payments? How are prices determined and how much does NFIP insurance cost?     

论公正及其与自由、平等的关系

尽管学术界对自由、平等和公正问题有许多研究和阐释,但较少将自由、平等与公正问题联系起来从总体上进行考察和研究,以致关于自由、平等和公正及其关系问题成了人们最说不清、道不明的问题。本文试图立足于当代人类社会现实及其走向,着重从与自由、平等相互关联的视角研究公正问题,力求纲要性地对公正及其与自由、平等之间的关系提供一些阐释和见解,最终论证这样一种基本观点:现代公正是一种综合性的价值要求,它要求社会自由和平等,也要求对自由和平等可能导致的社会问题给予适当解决。     

The Role of Bank Reputation in “Certifying” Future Performance Implications of Borrowers’ Accounting Numbers

We investigate the role played by the reputation of lead arrangers of syndicated loans in mitigating information asymmetries between borrowers and lenders. We hypothesize that syndications by more reputable arrangers are indicative of higher borrower quality at loan inception and more rigorous monitoring during the term of the loan. We investigate whether borrowers with more reputable lead arrangers realize superior performance subsequent to loan origination relative to borrowers with less reputable arrangers. We further examine whether certification by high‐reputation lead banks extends to the quality of borrowers’ reported accounting numbers. Controlling for endogenous matching of borrowers and lead banks, we find that higher bank reputation is associated with higher profitability and credit quality in the three years subsequent to loan initiation. We also show that bank reputation is associated with long‐run sustainability of earnings via higher earnings persistence, and debt contracting value of accounting via a stronger connection between pre‐loan profitability and future credit quality. We further document that the enhanced earnings sustainability associated with higher reputation lead banks reflects both superior fundamentals and accruals more closely linked with future cash flows.
