产业集群、金融渗透与城镇化发展:烟店模式

产业集群通过实现劳动力转移、基础设施的改善和第三产业的联动发展,可大大加快农村城镇化的进程.本文通过对烟店轴承产业集群在金融推力作用下促进城镇化建设过程的回顾,结合与其他城镇化方式的比较分析,得出一个重要结论:产业集群是实现城镇化建设的有效路径,烟店模式是一种可扩展可借鉴的城镇化模式,可为当前小城镇建设提供有益参考.     

Sex‐role conflict at work: its impact on consumption practices of working women in Turkey

Changing social norms regarding the role of women in society is fostered by women's participation in the workforce. Hence, changing role of working women in business life leads the transformation of gender stereotypes and roles. Women alter their gender role orientation according to the requirements of male‐dominated business life; however, the unchanged role in private life leads to sex‐role conflict. This study investigates the role of consumption as a key component of identity in the process of managing sex‐role conflict in a non‐Western cultural context. In‐depth interviews were conducted with working women with various cultural and educational backgrounds. According to the findings of the study, women are forming compatible identities, which reduce the perceived sex‐role conflict and consumption patterns are changing to suit the requirements of their new ways of living.     

经济地理、政治版图与不对称相互依赖的权力效用——以俄罗斯阻止乌克兰加入北约为例

国际政治现实中存在着有趣的不对称经济相互依赖未能产生有效权力的情形,不对称依赖较小的一方不能凭借其在经济相互依赖中的有利地位,通过使用经济手段,将经济影响力转化为政治影响力,进而对依赖较大的一方形成权力,从而实现自身的外交目标。在对相关文献进行述评的基础上,作者构建了一个经济地理和政治版图的新解释框架以解释该现象。在引入经济地理和政治版图的基本框架之后,提出依赖较大国内部经济地理和政治版图的错位或者契合是影响不对称相互依赖能否在短期内发挥权力效用的关键因素。在两者错位的情况下,权力难以顺利实现;在两者契合的状况下,权力容易实现。同时,作者选取并详细剖析了2004年以来俄罗斯借助经济不对称依赖中的优势地位阻止乌克兰加入北约这一案例,以论证这一核心观点。     

Nonlinearity and structural stability in the Phillips curve: Evidence from Turkey

In this paper, we investigate possible nonlinearities in the inflation–output relationship in Turkey for the 1980–2008 period. We first estimate a linear bivariate model for the inflation rate and output gap, and test for linearity of the estimated model against nonlinear alternatives. Linearity test results suggest that the relationship between the inflation rate and output gap is highly nonlinear. We estimate a bivariate time-varying smooth transition regression model, and compute dynamic effects of one variable on the other by generalized impulse response functions. Computed impulse response functions indicate that inflation–output relationship in Turkey during the analyzed period was regime dependent and varied considerably across time.

THE IMPACT OF POLITICAL RISK ON THE FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT DECISION: A CAPITAL BUDGETING ANALYSIS

Using a capital budgeting framework, we examine the impact of political risk on the foreign direct investment decision. Political risk may alter operating cash flows via discriminatory regulations as well as the investment via expropriation. We model the impact of political operating costs and expropriation costs on the NPV of a project under the assumption that the parameters that affect the NPV are constant over the life of the project. Next, we provide an illustration for the case in which the relevant parameters are variable over the life of the project. The paper concludes with an example of political risk in the 1990s, the case of Black Sea Energy Ltd.'s investment in Russia.     

利益认知与国际规范的国内化——以中国对国际气候合作规范的内化为例

国际规范国内化的根本原因不在于国内结构的不同,不在于国内文化与规范的匹配程度是否较高,也不在于国际组织的教育作用,而在于国家是否在与国际机制的互动中其某种需要获得了一定程度的满足,或是激发了一种积极的国家利益认知。在中国对国际气候合作规范的内化中,现有的国际气候机制激发了中国希望在应对气候变化问题上掌握主动权的需要,从而形成了一种积极的国家利益认知。这种国际规范国内化的表现就是中国决定彻底转变经济增长方式,而通过对相关指标的考察可以发现这种内化已经达到了比较高的程度。
