Summary In this paper we present a theoretical economic model, describing the influence of eschatological beliefs of executives on
their socially responsible business conduct. The core hypothesis is that the belief that one’s eternal destination depends
on how one behaves in business will provide an incentive to socially responsible business conduct. We confront the model with
explorative empirical data, collected by in-depth interviews with and questionnaires among twenty Dutch executives. The data
provide weak indications that eschatological beliefs influence the executives’ socially responsible business conduct.

With the reinterpretation of repurchase agreements (repos) by the tax authority and the revision of the national bank law
in 1997, allowing the Swiss national bank (SNB) to use repos as monetary policy instrument, the prerequisites for the development
of a Swiss franc repo market were given. The development of the repo market in Switzerland only came up in 1999 with the provision
of an integrated trading and settlement system provided by SegaInterSettle AG (SIS), Eurex and Swiss Interbank Clearing (SIC)
in collaboration with the SNB. The following paper provides an overview of the basic characteristics and structure of the
Swiss franc repo market as well as of the development it has undergone since 1999. It also discusses what motives and reasons
the banks possess to actively participate in the Swiss franc repo market.

The Growth and Stability Pact restricts member states in their fiscal policy but also causes inflexibility in the pursuit of wide-ranging economic and social reforms. Tradable deficit permits allow more flexibility for individual member states and provide a stick for those who exceed the deficit limit but also a carrot to those who stay below it. But does the trade in deficit permits affect the monetary objectives of the European Central Bank (ECB)? This study explores the formation of relationship quality and online purchase intention in the service context of tourism,
and a model is also introduced. This study tries to conceptualize a model based on a mediating mechanism of relationship quality
that may be applied to understand online purchase intention in tourism. Learning the critical role of relationship quality
in e-tourism can guide tour service providers to design different strategies for different online customers, and consequently
achieve high customer online purchase to tourist service and product. In the proposed model of this study, the perceived incentive,
perceived service quality, perceived ease of purchasing and perceived usefulness influence customer online purchase intention
indirectly via the mediation of relationship quality. Additionally, five propositions are derived accordingly based on the
