对高校评奖评优工作的几点思考

评奖评优是高校学生管理的重要组成部分,具有激励、资助和导向的作用。本文主要就高校评奖评优工作进行了研究,并提出了一些看法。     

Why Do Firms in Customer–Supplier Relationships Hold More Cash?

A firm is in customer–supplier relationships when its business depends on a small number of major customers/suppliers. In this paper, we provide evidence that relationship‐specific investments undertaken by firms in customer–supplier relationships are associated with high cash holdings in these firms. The evidence is consistent with the prediction of Titman's stakeholder theory that a firm relying on relationship‐specific investments maintains a high cash reserve as a cushion to sustain its relationship‐specific investments when negative shocks occur. Our findings suggest that relationship‐specific investments are important determinants of the precautionary motive to hold cash.     

Impact of split share structure reform on capital structures: empirical evidence from China’s listed companies

An econometric model based on a natural experiment and the difference-in-differences method is introduced to empirically investigate the impact of split share structure reform on capital structures. A total of 1026 listed companies in Chinese A-share during 2001–2011 are used as the sample for the research and interest-bearing debt ratios (BDRs) are taken as a representative indicator for capital structures. The theoretical and empirical analysis indicates that both market expansion effect and corporate governance effect caused by the split share structure reform are associated with an increase in BDR. As far as the timeliness is concerned, the effects of split share structure reform on capital structures will last 3–4 years.     

退社行为对合作社可持续发展的影响分析——来自渤海湾优势区211户退社果农的实证

基于目前合作社中存在的农户退社现象,本文利用211个有效样本实证分析了果农退社行为与果农合作社可持续发展的关系。研究发现:其一,从整体看,果农退社的四种方式均会对果农合作社可持续发展产生显著的负向影响,且负向影响程度由大到小依次为被迫退社、盲从退社、主动退社、隐形退社。其二,从细分维度看,一方面,主动退社、被迫退社和盲从退社会对合作社内部凝聚力、成员积极性产生负向影响,而隐形退社则对这二者无影响;另一方面,四种退社方式均会对合作社组织声誉、政府资源利用产生负向影响。其三,从发展水平看,果农退社方式对高水平果农合作社的可持续发展的负向影响程度相对轻微,且主动退社行为对高水平果农合作社的可持续发展具有显著的正向影响。其四,从比较分析看,果农退社方式对中、低发展水平合作社具有不同程度、不同方向的影响。本文研究结论对合作社管理者采取差异化措施防止退社现象蔓延、优化退社制度安排以及有效利用政府资源具有一定的启发。     

工程造价咨询企业的设立与资质申请

为了确保工程施工进度与质量安全,就必须对整个工程成本进行严格地控制,并在整个工程或者分项工程完成后积极做好工程结算审核工作,从而强化工程结算审核的合理性与可靠性。但是由于工程结算审核需要在大量事实和依据上进行,使得审核过程出现了诸多问题,对预结算的准确有效性造成了严重的影响。本文就工程结算审核的管理和控制进行了分析。     

数字经济时代下长春市乡村振兴的现状与困境研究

乡村振兴与新农村建设直接关系到整个国家的国民素质、经济发展和社会稳定.近年来,在国家智慧乡村、新农村建设等多重因素的推动下,长春市乡村地区获得快速发展,同时也面临诸多难题与挑战.因此,深入研究数字经济与乡村振兴相关理论,分析长春市数字乡村发展的现状和困境,提出可供参考的对策建议,对助力当地农村经济发展有重要的意义.     

The impact of crude oil inventory announcements on prices: Evidence from derivatives markets

This study examines the impact of weekly crude oil storage announcements on oil futures and options prices. We document evidence of a strong announcement day effect on both markets, and find prices to move in anticipation of the inventory surprise. Futures returns significantly decrease with positive surprises and increase with negative surprises. There is no evidence of an asymmetric impact on futures prices. Near‐the‐money options exhibit the greatest price sensitivity, and the magnitude of the price response of both futures and options declines with maturity. The results remain robust even after controlling for various macroeconomic and other storage‐related news variables.

Inferring latent social networks from stock holdings

We infer the latent social networks of investors using data on their stock holdings. We map linkages to portfolio weights using a portfolio-choice model. The precision of an investor’s private signal about firm value is assumed to increase with his connections in the city where the firm is headquartered. Using money-manager data, we find that managerial linkages to a city are overly dispersed relative to the Erdös–Rényi model of i.i.d. connections. Managers at the tail of this distribution with non-i.i.d. linkages have more university alumni in that city. Their stock holdings there outperform their holdings in other cities.
